Jacob gave Susannah a quick kiss and headed out. "I'll see you later," he said as he made is way down the hall.

Susannah nodded. She gathered her pencil and spanish book and headed over to Balthazar's house. "Hey, Susannah." Balthazar, the real Balthazar, greeted her when she knocked.
Jacob went to the reservation to talk to Kahlan about what had happened the evening before when he went to talk to her.
Balthazar let Susannah inside, and they reviewed the spanish lesson from that day.
After talking to Kahlan for a while he figured that the time the he was allegedly talking to her about breaking up with Susannah he was having dinner with her. Which was good because it meant that it wasn't like someone took over his mind and made him do that so that he never remembered.
Balthazar, after having lived in Spain for a bit, was very good at spanish, and was able to catch Susannah up on her class pretty easily.
Jacob realized that he hadn't eaten for while and went to Sam and Emily's and had a very large lunch.
"So, Susannah...you're still dating Jacob?" Balthazar asked.Susannah nodded. "Yeah, why?"
Balthazar shrugged. "I just heard he was going to break up with you."
Jacob and Sam got to talking and Jacob told Sam about everything since the fight with the voultori.
"Well, he didn't. But who told you that?" Susannah asked him.
Jacob got up and went to get Susannah from studying.
Balthazar shrugged. "It was just something I heard."
Jacob got to Adrian and Balthazar's house and knocked.
Balthazar opened the door. "Hey, Jacob." he said with a friendly smile.
"Well if you guys are done I came to get my girlfriend," Jacob said.
Balthazar thought. "Hm. I don't know anyone by the name of 'My Girlfriend'. Mind giving me a hint?"
"Susannah," Jacob said obviously not amused.
"Ah, yes, I know her." Balthazar said as he went to go get her, obviously amused.He came back shortly with Susannah following him.
"Hey," Jacob smiled when he saw Susnnah.
Jacob reached out and took her hand. "Ready to go?"
Susannah nodded. "Yeah." she turned to Balthazar. "Thanks for your help." she said."Any time." Balthazar said, smiling.
Jacob turned to leave with Susannah then looked back. "Later dude," He said to Balthazar.
"So what did you learn?" Jake asked Susannah
"I learned how to conjugate verbs in the preterit, and how to say some holidays." Susannah said.
Susannah nodded. "Yeah. Now I'm all caught up in spanish. So did you find anything out?"
"So when I supposedly went to talk to kahlan I was still at dinner with you."
"So, then there's someone out there who looks just like you?" Susannah asked.
"I have a great idea! We find him, set him up with Tara, and then hopefully both of them stay out of our lives?" Susannah said.
"The only question left unanswered is: Who the heck is he, and where did he come from, and why did he want us to break up?" Susannah said.
"Have any enemies?" Susannah asked him.
"Does all vampires aside from the ones in a 15 mile radius count?"
"No. I don't think you could pass for a vampire, and he definitely looked like you." Susannah said.
"I also dislike anyone who flirts with you," Jacob said.
"Like I didn't like Caleb at first and I don't like Balthazar because he's always hitting on you."
"Is he?" Susannah thought about it. "I don't see it. But if you say so. And even if that;s true, Balthazar does not look a thing like you."
"I wonder who would do something like that." Susannah wondered."You told me breaking up with her would work, but obviously it didn't."Balthazar told Adrian when she told him her plan.
"Yeah, but how would I know she'd believe him so quickly?" Adrian said.
"Why are we doing this again?" Balthazar asked.
"Because our powers run on the blood of the pure hearted. And it's fun to mess with their lives before we kill them. Not to mention the fact that Susannah's a fire starter too. It'll be twice as long before we have to hunt down another one of the pure hearted." Adrian said.
"What about Zach? He's one of the pure hearted, but we can't take his blood." Balthazar said.
"Oh, messing with him will just be for fun." Adrian said.
"Well, do you happen to know what time it is?" Susannah asked.
Jacob look at his watch, "Umm around 8."
Susannah nodded. "Thank you." she was going to say that gave her time to talk to Caleb about what happened at school that day, but when she got into view of her house, he was already there, looking worried. When he saw them however, his expression turned to one of relief.
