"Because," Jacob said, "when I'm a wolf my teeth can rip a vampire to shreds. The only downside is that they can then put themselves back together."

"So...have you figured out what you're going to do?" Caleb asked.
"Well the one way to keep them dead is not coming so I'll just have to rip and run, I just hope it's not to late for Rebecca and Zach," Jacob said.Rebecka had been watching and like the way the mord sith worked. After a while she locked Rebecca out of the escape in the back of her mind,and even later she took over so that the training was just about completed. She hadn't needed the agiel for the first test she had just ripped the rats to shreds with her bare hands.
Jacob walked back onto the porch and walked up behind Susannah. He wrapped his arms around her from behind and rested his head on her shoulder the whispered, "I'm going back tonight."
"Back where?" Susannah asked, not turning around.
"To get Rebecca and Zach," he said still whispering.
"...Alright. When do we leave?" Susannah asked.
"
I'm
leaving in a little while. You're staying here and I'm putting some wolves on guard so no one come, or goes."
Susannah turned around. "You are not going there by yourself." she said seriously.
"Yes I am, because you're not going anywhere near that place."
Susannah shook her head, her eyes becoming determined. "You can't make me stay here." she said.
"I can and I will," Jacob said. "You're staying here." Then he softened he pressed his forehead against hers. "For as long as I live I will keep you from ever being anywhere near that place," he breathed. "Please don't..." his voice was choked slightly and he was just managing to keep tears at bay. He kissed her softly then took her face in his hands, " Don't have me take you with me, I'm too afraid." His words were so soft that he barely heard them.
Susannah softened, the determination and defensiveness she had before gone, her eyes showing the fear that she too felt. "But what if something happens to you?" She said, gently touching the side of his face.
"Then at least I'd know that you're not there to get hurt," Jacob said. "
Susannah made a decision. If he was determined to go,and determined to leave her behind, then she'd let him. But she wasn't going to treat it as if he were going to his funeral. So, she hid all her fear and uncertainty, and said, "Ok. You go, and come back soon." then she gave him a kiss.
Susannah couldn't help but hug him tightly.
Jacob held Susannah tightly as he could and kissed the top of her head.{{Srry, went to the movies}}
"Be careful." Susannah whispered to him.
Jacob nodded. "I will," he said again.
Susannah pulled back and just looked at him, not saying anything, as she was putting all her concentration into keeping the worry off her face.
Jacob kissed Susannah softly. "I'll be back by tomorrow after noon," he said. "If I'm not you can ask anyone in the pack to take you and follow my scent, I'll take the same way back that I go so that if I'm already on my way we'll run into each other."
Susannah nodded. "Alright." she said.
Jacob hugged Susannah tight again.
Jacob kissed the top of her head. "I'll be back before you know it," he said. "You want a guard?"
Susannah shook her head. "I'll be fine. Maybe I'll even drag Caleb out of his house."
Jacob nodded. "You know where to go if you need someone from the pack right?"
"La Push?" Susannah guessed. She had no idea.
"Yeah, just go to the beach and someone will probably find you." {{HAPPY NEW YEAR}}
Susannah nodded. "Ok." she said.((You too!))
Jacob kissed the top of Susannah's head one more time then reluctantly backed off the porch. He ran into the trees and not a moment later there was a loud tearing sound as he shifted.
Susannah sat on the porch. She was so worried, she couldn't think of anything to do. So, she sat, and thought over the last few weeks, and everything that had happened.
Rebecka had convinced Cara and Triana that Rebecca's training was done and was now being led to Zach's cell for her final test.Jacob ran as fast as he could towards the mord sith's lair.
Zach sat in his cell, doing nothing, and thinking about nothing, having long ago lost all sense of time.Susannah went inside, and talked with her mom about what her mom had been doing since she had been gone.
Cara stopped outside of the door to Zach's cell and gave Rebecka the same speech she gave susannah about her final test. Then she unlocked the radihan and gave Rebecka an agiel. She then pushed the door open and said, "all you have to do is kill him."Rebecka smirked as she walked in. "Gladly," she said.
Don't even try it! Rebecca yelled.
Oh but I think I will,
Rebecka responded cooly.
And I'm going to have fun with it
Please don't Rebecca pleaded quietly. But it was to late Rebecka's mind was made up.
"Zach?" Rebecka whispered like she was Rebecca and unsure if she was just hallucinating.
Jacob was about half way there and had not lost any speed even for a second the entire way.
Zach looked at her, his eyes becoming guarded as he shrunk back against the wall at the sound.
Rebecka put the agiel down, trying to gain Zach's trust. She stepped forward slowly. Why do you always do that to him? Rebecca demanded.
Because it's funny to see him put his gaurd down and then get stomped on.
Jacob got to the lair and waisted no time. He busted down the doors and grabbed one of the two guards and twisted her head off with his teeth. While he was busy with the one guard the other had gone to warn some of the higher ranked mord sith.
Zach looked at her questioningly. He couldn't tell if it was really Rebecca, or if he was hallucinating.
Rebecka took another step forward still looking like she thought Zach would disappear at any moment due to him not actually being there.
"Rebecca?" Zach asked in a disbelieving tone, his voice slightly scratchy.
"It's me," Rebecka said reassuringly.
Zach closed the last few spaces between them, and latched onto her leg. "Oh my god, Rebecca, I missed you so much. I don't want to be here anymore." he finished with a whimper. Normally he hated showing weakness to that degree, but he was tired of being strong, and brave. He just wanted someone to tell him it would be ok, and to let him go home.
Rebecka knealed down next to him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. "I know," she whispered soothingly. "It's alright I'm here."Jacob tore through the party they sent out for him and made his way down to the dungeons.
Zach clung to her, now having enough presence of mind to try to collect himself, to put on a brave face. It wasn't exactly working quickly, but he was managing to have some form of clear thought. Enough that he pulled back and looked at her and said, "Your eyes are different." he couldn't tell what, they were the same color, but something was...different about them.
Rebecka tilted her head to the side and gave Zach a questioning look. "What are you talking about?" she asked. She was starting to get tired of the act but she needed to keep it up for just a few more minutes.
"I'm not sure." he said, looking at her closely. "There's just something different." his mind was at the edges of something, something he knew he should remember, but it was just out of his reach, and kept slipping through.
