It was Susannah's turn to look shocked. "No. Why would I do that?" she asked, honestly perplexed.

"It just makes sense that you would after I told you that I can't say i didnt try to leave you," Jacob said
Susannah shook her head. "I love you, Jacob. And I won't let the mord sith, or anything that happened while there take you away from me. We can't give them that much power over our lives."
"Susannah you are the greatest thing that could ever happen to me," Jacob said. He took a half step back and held her face in his hands. Before he had even realized that his brain had sent out the command to kiss her he was.
Susannah kissed him back, glad to be away from the mord sith. Before she knew it, tears were running down her face, because when she was with the mord sith, she didn't think she'd ever get to see Jacob again, much less kiss him, and yet here he was.
Jacob gently wiped away Susannah's tears with his thumb then softly kissed her neck. "Shhh, it's okay" he whispered against the skin of her neck.
Susannah clung to him, crying freely now.
Jacob held her tightly and rested his head on hers, gently rubbing her back.

After a couple of minutes, Susannah stopped crying, and said, "I love you, Jacob, and I'm glad you're ok."
"Same on my end." Jacob said. "And Susannah I need you promise me something."
"I would never, but if I ever tried to leave you," Jacob paused trying to choke back the word but it forced its way out, "again, you have to make yourself order me away. Do what ever it take to make yourself stop loving me and leave. Susannah promise me you'll do that."
Susannah looked confused. Very confused. "Why?" she asked.
"Because if I would do that to you... again," Jacob stomped his foot as the word forced it's way passed his lips again, "then you shouldn't be anywhere near me, and I'm not worth it." He put his forehead against hers then whispered, "Please just promise me that."
Susannah shook her head, her eyes wide...and a little scared. "No." she said, "No, please don't make me promise that."
"You have too," Jacob said. "I don't ask this lightly, every moment we spend talking about it hurt me more and more. But it's important that you do it. That you say you promise me, that you to swear to me."
"And I don't say no lightly. But if something ever happens that's bad enough for you to do something like this again, then I'll need you. I can't promise you that...unless you don't want to be with me anymore. And you want me to send you away." Susannah said, just the thought horrifying her.
"Never," Jacob said. "I will never not want you."
"Then why would you want me to send you away if something like this happened again? Because we bothmade it out alive, and I think you're worth it." SUsannah said.
"No I'm not," Jacob whispered. "I'm not at all. But Susannah I swear I will never try to leave you." This time the word again did not force its way out.
"Then why do I have to promise anything?" Susannah asked, her voice almost pleading now. She did not want to have to do this.
Jacob slowly began to realize that he hadn't said again that time and smiled slightly. "You don't," he said letting out a half choked laugh.
Susannah was even more confused than ever now. "What?" she asked.
"Just never mind," Jacob said kissing the top of Susannah's head.
"Jacob, what happened?" Susannah asked, refusing to be anymore confused.
"I never ever tried to leave you," Jacob said choking slightly on the words as he said them, the training was still somewhat in effect.
"But then why did you say...?" Susannah said, trying to go over their converrsation, figure out where she could have missed something.
"Training," Jacob said. "My training was that I wasn't allowed to deny that."
"Oh my god." Susannah said quietly, her eyes horrified. "They tried to train you too?" she asked.((Sorry it took so long. Internet's acting crazy.))
"No," Jacob said. "The succeeded in training me."{{Thats alright I wasnt even on anyway, i was finish up the last of my homework.}}
"So then why are you able to tell me you didn't try to leave me?" Susannah asked.
"The imprint must be stronger then the training," Jacob said happily.
Susannah hugged him. "I'm sorry they trained you." she said.
"What they did to you was probably worse," Jakes shrugged.{{srry i fell asleep}}
"What makes you think that?" Susannah asked.
"I don't know," Jacob shrugged. "It just seems like it would take a lot more to try to make someone a killer then it would to stop them from saying something."
Susannah shrugged. "Still. tIt shouldn't have happened, especially not to you since you were no where near Denna and the woods at the time."
"Well I was there, but I kinda ran away once I saw what she could do," Jacob said kind of embarrassed.
"Hm. Oh well. I want to go talk to your dad. He seemed interesting." Susannah said, turning around as she was talking.
Oh great now she probably thinks I'm a wuss or something, Jacob thought as he followed Susannah out of the room. "Did you guys work everything out?" Billy asked as they came put of the room.
Jacob wrapped his arms around susannah from behind and held her close. "Everything worked out fine dad," he said."Well thats good," Billy said.
Susannah nodded in agreement, then said, "So Mr.Black, what do you do?" she asked, referring to his job or occupation.
"Oh I don't have a job," Billy said
"What did you major in in college?" Susannah asked.
"Didn't go," Billy shrugged. "Seeing as I am technically the 'chief' I've been pretty well taken care of. And the same for Jacob."
"What was your favorite subject in high school?" Susannah asked, trying to learn something about him that she knew how to start a conversaion with. Which was pretty much only academics.
"I guess P.E." Billy said somewhat indifferently
"P.E.?" Susannah hated P.E. and barely knew anything about it, so she tried to find something else. "What high school did you go to?"
