Christain rolled his eyes. "You really dont know anything about me, do you? I am a part of your world. There are other shadow-spinners. There's a whole underground orginazation that do things..well, in the shadows. Things that help people. That eclipse last year? Me and about two hundred other shadow-spinners were apart of that to give scientists a chance to study. There's more. But it's very classified."

"Yeah I know that I'm related to you. But do think Aro knows, or cares for that matter, about that?"
"That's not my point. My point is that I am apart of your world. There are professional shadow-spinners that go out and make sure rouge werewolves stay in line. Some even secretly work for the volturi. We're not directly involved in your world, but we work closely with it." Christain said. "And the world is dangerous no matter how you look at it."
"Christian, if you were really part of my world as much as you think you are then Jane wouldn't have been sent after you."
"Like I said, there aren't that many of us, and we don't work very openly. But that's not even the point. The point is that you didn't notice me until I stoped talking to you, and now I don't think I want to continue." Christain picked up his pace.
"Fine," Rebecca said. "I've appolagized and tried to explain myself to you, and thats all I can do. I hope reconsider and try to understand my point of view on this," and in a blur she was gone.
Christain kept walking. He wanted to understand, but...she already ignored him half the time, and knowing that she would give up his life without thinking for Zach's was just...hard to accept. He didn't even know if it was the kind of thing he could forgive.
Rebecca began to have a very familiar feeling, one she didn't like. She couldn't be with Zach and her brother once again hated her, she felt like she was regressing back into Rebecka, boyfriendless and brotherless.
Zach thought. He had forgiven himself for hurting Forever, and this was a lot the same, wasn't it? He could forgive himself for this too. But maybe later. He spent the rest of the night counting. Christain climbed back through his window, into his room, and to sleep, the shadows of the darkness providing a comforting feeling he could never find anywhere else.
Rebecca went back to her room also and spent the whole night remembering her life before Zach and thinking that she may end up like that again.
Zach got up, got dressed, and went for a walk. There was just a few things he had to finish thinking about. Then he ran into Susannah. "Hey." he said when he saw her."Hi. So, what happened with you and Rebecca?" Susannah asked.
Zach started to explain what had happened.
Rebecca sat up and thought about trying to apologize to Christian again but then thought that pushing him wouldn't do anything so we just went out for a walk.
"Hm." Susannah said. "So, you blame yourself?""I do." Zach said.
"You know, I think you blame Jacquleen."
"Why do you think that?" Zach asked, bewildered.
"Because, you want to blame her, but you find that mean so you put the blame on yourself, where it doesnt belong." Susannah said logically.
"Really?" Zach thought about blameing Jacquleen, and felt a sense of rightness. As if the blame belonged to her, and realized that while he was blaming himself for what had happened, who he really wanted to blame was jacquleen.
Rebecca walked to the clearing in the woods where Rebecka had first tried to split up her and Zach when she first told him that she was a witch.
"So...what are you suggesting?" zach asked."That you stop deluding yourself. It's Jacquleen's fault, even I think that, and I wasn't there. Nobody would blame you if you blamed her." Susannah said.
"I do blame her." Zach said softly. "I...I want to understand why she did it, but I just Can't, and I blame her."
"There you go. Problem solved." Susannah walked away into the woods for a quick hike, leaving Zach standing there, thinking.
Rebecca looked around at her surroundings sadly. She sat down on the ground and remembered how Zach had forgiven her each time she told him something that she had kept from him.
So, if it wasnt my fault, and I blame Jacquleen, then there's nothing to forgive myself for... Zach was off, looking for Rebecca, before the thought even finished.
Rebecca's sadness increased as her memories of this clearing came out of the mud of human memory and relayed themselves with vampire clarity. She collapsed over sideways doubled over as if in pain.
Ok, you can do this. Zach thought to himself. He started walking towards Rebecca's house, but noticed that her sent was walking away from the house, so he followed that.
Rebecca could hear all the conversations that had gone on in the clearing, the only that stayed behind in the mud was the few happier moment when Rebecka wasn't there. All she could see was the anguish, all she could hear were cries, and whispered terror, a harsh reminder of who she had always been.
Susannah walked past the clearing, and saw Rebecca curled up on the gound. "Hey, are you ok?" she called out to her.
Rebecca shook her head but remained silent.
Susannah cautiosusly-she was a vampire after all-approached her. "What's wrong?" she asked, sitting beside her.
"Everything," Rebecca breathed near silently.
Susannah barely heard her. "Like what?" she asked, just as Zach rounded the corner.
"I can feel it all draining away," Rebecca said. "Everything good about me, I can even remember anything but the bad things I've done."
"Then let us help you." Susannah said. "You didn't kill Caleb.""You took the spell you had on me off." Zach added.
"You defeated the volturi." Susannah said.
"You fought Rebecka." Zach finished.
((Sorry it took so long. There was this waterbug that was huge and flew and came out of nowhere and I ran, and left my laptop in the living room, and since bugs are the things I fear most in the world, I wouldn't come out of my room until my mom killed it. *shudder*))
{{well i left for a while for dinner anyway}}Upon hearing Zach all the memories of good bean to flood back, more then just what was said. She just needed to know that she had what she didn't have as Rebecka, love.
Zach looked at Susannah pointedly."You know, I have to finish my hike. see you." Susannah said, before, leaving barely supressing her laughter at the look Zach had given her.
Zach sat next to Rebecca. "I'm sorry."
Rebecca sat up and looked at Zach. "For what?" She asked confused
"For punching you. For not seeing you." Zach answered.
"It's ok," she said. "I dont blame you."
"I know you don't. I had to say it anyway." he said.
Rebecca took Zachs hand and laced her fingers through his
"What did Susannah say to you?" Zach asked.
"She just helped remember the good I've done," Rebecca said.
"Why were you forgetting?" Zach asked.
"I was turning back into my past."
"Why? You're not in your past. You here." Zach said.
"Don't you recognize where here is?" Rebecca asked.
Zach looked around. "Um...no. Should I?"
"When I was going to move we were here, and so was she," Rebecca tapped the side of her head to show she was talking about Rebecka.
Zach shook his head, "Yeah, I don't remember."
"I guess thats I pretty good thing."
"Why is it a good thing?" Zach asked, confused.
{{srry i went to a party}}"It's something bad that you dont have to recall."
Zach shrugged. "Ok then." and almost absently wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
Rebecca closed her eyes and sighed, glad that things were begining to work themselves out.
