"You have to come up with it yourself," Rebecca said. "Or it would just be you doing what I say and that wouldn't prove anything."

"I do love you Rebecca, but if you cant believe that, then that means I was more of a jerk than I thought. And if that's true, then I dont deserve to be within a hundered feet of you." Zach said. He turned around, adn started walking away.
Rebecca caught Zach's hand. "I want to believe you Zach I really do but you can't expect me not to be shaken up by what happened."
"Oh, I didnt even expect you to talk to me." Zach said. "I'll figure out what happened. But, until then...I dont want to hurt you." Zach finished before gently taking his hand out of hers, and continued walking.
Rebecca followed after him and quickly fell into step beside him. "I'm sorry," she said. "What ever I did that made you so upset I'm sorry."
"You're sorry? You're saying sorry to me? Are you out of your freaking mind?! I hurt you Rebecca. I'm just glad you're more powerful than me. I'd hate to think about what could have happened. And until I know why it happened, so I can make sure it never happens again, I'm gone." Zach said, each word stomping on his heart, but he had no choice. He had to protect Rebecca.
A smile slowly began to spread across Rebecca's face and she took Zach's hand. "Don't," she said simply.
"Rebecca, please, dont make me stand here. I'm just...I'm going to go." then he left with vampire speed. He had to get away from her before he compltely broke down.
Rebecca watched for a moment contemplating whether or not to follow Zach. She decided that she would give him a little while to cool off.
Zach walked into his house, his mind whirling. "Zach, something wrong?" his mom asked."No." Zach said.
"Want to talk about it?" she asked, knowing he was lying.
"No." Zach said, but as he watched her face fall, he said, "I...did something to Rebecca, and I said sorry. She forgave me, but I can't forgive myself. And the guilt is eating me alive." Zach walked up to his room as fast as he could without it actually be running.
Rebecca began to feel thirsty and ran into the woods to hunt.
Zach went through his day. What was something different he'd done today?-Punch Rebecca

What happened when he changed feelings?

Could it be related? He paced his room, thinking.
Rebecca drained a deer but was still thirty so she picked up the scent of a mountain lion.
But Jacquleen was human. She couldn't have had anything to do with it-could she? Zach knew she didnt like Rebecca, but she wouldn't go so far as to try to get rid of her, if she was even able to do something about it...would she?
Jacquleen knocked on Zach's door and his mom told her he was in his room so she went to his room and knocked lightly before pushing it open a crack.
Zach looked up at the slight noise. "Jaqculeen? What are you doing here?" he asked.
Jacquleen shrugged, "just came to ask what happened after you went to her house."
"I made the most painful decision of my life, that's what happened." Zach said bitterly.
Jacquleen tilted her head to the side confused.
"I had to tell Rebecca that I couldnt be near her until i figured out what happened. What if i never figure it out?!"
Maybe this could work out, Jacquleen thought hopefully. "Well there's always me," she said helpfully.
Zach shook his head. "Sorry Jacquleen,but i broke up with you for a reason."
"Fine then I guess you'll never know what happened," Jacquleen said.
"Why? Do you know what happened?" Zach asked, a spark of hope in his eye. Even if he never dated Rebecca again, he owed her an explaination, and he'd do nearly anything to get that explaination.
Jacquleen was going to lie again but the hope she saw in Zach's eyes, it pained her to take it from him. "I did it," she whispered alopst silently.
"You? How?" Zach asked, too shocked to even be mad.
"I just can make people feel what I want them to and the feeling is so strong that it's enough to make them act on it."
"Oh my god." Zach covered his face with his hands. He couldnt believe it. it'd happened AGAIN. A girl in his life manipulated him. Just like Rebecca did, only slightly differently. What was next? His mom telling him to rob a bank? He hadn't even been very good friends with Jacquleen, but what she'd told him brought back all the feelings that he'd felt when he'd found out Rebecca had used him.
"Sorry?" Jacquleen said unsurely. She thought it was what Zach wanted to here but she wasn't sorry, she had wanted Rebecca dead.
"Nevermind that." Zach said, putting his hands down, and shoving the feelings away. "Why?"
"I told you, I don't care what happens to her, as long as she's not dating you."
Zach rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Point is, what do I have to do to make sure you don't do it anymore?"
"I guess you just have to cross your fingers and hope for the best."
Zach glared. "Fine. At least I know where it comes from. So, if you please: Get. Out. Of. My. House." Zach said calmly.
Jacquleen's shoulders sagged and she turned and left.
Zach sighed. He shouldnt. He really shouldnt call Rebecca. But he really wanted to. He stared at his cell phone, thinking.
Rebecca found the mountain lion and drained that as well before she ran back to her house.
Zach sighed. and dialed Rebecca's number. He at least owed her an explination.
Rebecca flipped her phone open not bothering to look at the number. "Hello?" She asked.
"Rebecca? Ok, I'll never call you again, but I found out what happened, and I think you should know." Zach said.
"What?" Rebecca asked not liking the idea of Zach never calling again.
"Jacquleen did it. She made me feel those feelings. I know it's not an excuse, but I thought you should know." Zach said.
"Okay," Rebecca said not knowing what else to say.
"Ok, then...bye." Zach said, hanging up. "I'm sorry." he whispered to himself, staring at the phone in his hand.
Rebecca opened up her phone typed up a text but her finger stopped when it as over the send button. I still love you, the text said. {{srry i was out all day}}
Zach tossed his phone on his bed, and walked out. He needed to get out. So, he walked to the park, and climbed up into a tree.
Rebecca stared at the message not sure why she couldn't send it. Finally she forced her finger down onto the button and the phone beeped as the message was sent. Then she went out and walked.
Zach used his vampire sight, and tried to count all the ants crawling at the base of the tree he was in.
Rebecca walked right pass the tree not paying attention enough to realize that Zach was there.
