Brandi Maser (bmaser) | 1 comments One remarkable girl, one exciting quest, one secret that changes her life and Evandra forever…

Lily’s ordinary life changes when her grandmother tells her that she must go to the castle and kill the evil young Queen that is corrupting the once beautiful Evandra. Of course she thinks it’s crazy but who wouldn’t. Lily also learns that her grandmother is a witch and she may well be one too. She befriends a feisty little faerie who tags along with Lily on her journey. The two come across thieving dwarves, murderous centaurs and mysterious dragonfolk that live in a hidden colony on one of Evandra’s many mountains. It’s because of her quest that she find out who she is truly meant to be and how exceptionally mystical Evandra actually is.

Will she survive her quest? Does she have enough courage to kill the Queen? The fate of pretty much everything lies in Lily’s hands…

Lena Loneson (lenaloneson) | 4 comments Hi all,

I write dirty, dirty smut, with some terror and wonder mixed in. As a writer I love a seriously sexy scene between a hero and heroine, as they're fighting paranormal forces.

I've got two books out now with Ellora's Cave Publishing:

God of Ecstasy by Lena Loneson
Alpha Mountie by Lena Loneson

Upcoming, I'm working on an erotic horror called Haunt Me, full of delicious ghostly sex.

As a reader, I like a little bit of everything: sci-fi, thrillers, fantasy, horror, literature, nonfiction...anything well-written, interesting, and fun.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Huw Thomas (HuwThomas) | 14 comments Hello to all...
I'm Huw Thomas - both a writer and an omnivorous and voracious reader.
I joined Goodreads earlier in the year but am only just starting to explore properly. (Too many projects, not enough hours in the day!)
I'm the author of 'The Tale Of Findo Gask' - just got a wonderful 5* review from Katherine Ashe http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/....
'Findo' is the story of a young boy growing up in poverty in modern Britain and how he becomes a thief in order to both survive and assert his identity.
I've also got two mystery/thrillers and a collection of short stories published under my own name.
Plus - under the pen name William Webster - an adventure novel called 'Pagan's Sphinx' that came out on 1st December. This tells the story of an archaeological expedition to North Africa looking for an ancient statue that might provide a link to the lost civilisation of Atlantis.
When I'm not writing (or working) I also blog at http://hdthomas.wordpress.com about books, publishing and life in general.
Nice to meet you all!
Huw Thomas

Justin Thurn (outbrave) | 6 comments I'm Justin, and I'm a writaholic.

When I was eight I decided to be a writer.
When I was ten I got infected by two swarms of bacteria but didn't know it, and was sickly from that point on.
When I was 20-ish the illness became debilitating.
When I was 25 I learned what the illness was and started treatment.
Now, at 26, I'm still in treatment, pissing in the eye of that illness, and my first book is coming in July.

Pleasure to meet you all. Here's to giving adversity the middle finger!

Justin Thurn (outbrave) | 6 comments Lawrence wrote: "Hi Justin. Look forward to the first book. What's it about?"

Hi, Lawrence,

The book is the first in a series entitled the Thread of Fate.

A man who has been reincarnated for thousands of years with the sole purpose of bringing the same two people together is about to die for the last time, and must convince a sceptical young lady to take up his work.

Each book is a different time and place -- a different one of his more flashy lives -- and slowly reveals the pattern and true origin of the Fated Two. Each life is based on either real events and people or genuine mythology from that part of the world.

Book one, the Tale of Genji, takes place in late 12th century Japan, and follows a young samurai (Genji) as he works to win the civil war for his older brother and try to stay ahead of an enemy within his clan, all while hurtling closer to his destined love. A love vs. honour story, with blood and guts and kissing and everything.

I'll have the website up soon-ish.
