Frank Ryan (frankryan) | 144 comments Hi,

I'm Frank P. Ryan. I've been a professional writer for 25 years. I write epic fantasy with two of my series, The Snowmelt River and The Tower of Bones, published and about to be published respectively, by Jo Fletcher, a subsidiary of Quercus in London. I'm currently running an ad and giveaway (12 books) campaign for The Tower of Bones. I'm also writing a blog on my home page.

I'm a very relaxed kind of guy. You're very welcome to consider becoming friends or otherwise make contact. Why not visit the Tower of Bones page where you can enter the draw for the free books at a click.

You are also most welcome to visit my fiction site at www.frankpryan.com.

Cheers!
The Tower of Bones

Frank Ryan (frankryan) | 144 comments Hi Christine,

Many thanks for your welcome. I've looked at your profile. Good for you! You know I wrote a free booklet that shows kids how to write their first fantasy (or any) short story. It was taken up by schools nationwide in Ireland. Would this be useful to you?

It's available at a click on my website www.frankpryan.com. Alternatively, if you gave me an e-mail address, I could mail it on to you.

Best wishes,

message 3880: by Tm (new)

Tm Clifford | 2 comments Hi All!

I'm am an amateur writer (hopefully my self publishing will push that to a higher status) and an amateur reader.

I just uploaded my first Kindle ebook to Amazon about a month ago, titled 'Onyx Plague'

I mostly stick to fantasy but I enjoy a fast paced story with action and/or adventure (contemporary more so than Sci/Fi. I plan on writing similar books, beginning with Fantasy.

I'm an accountant, more for practical reasons. I choose accounting in college thinking I could start writing when I got around to it, knowing that it would be hard to learn businesses with a degree in English! I have also spent a lot of time programing.

Anyway, I'm trying to be active in the Social Media so here are a few links:

Blog: http://xiphoidpublishing.blogspot.com/

Thanks for reading!

T. M. Clifford

PS. 'Onyx Plague' is FREE for October 26-28, 2012

PPS. My blog includes and will include more information about small businesses, for authors in particular, but applicable on many levels.

message 3895: by Joseph (new)

Joseph Badal (badalbooksgmailcom) | 54 comments I thought you might like to read the following blurb about my latest thriller, SHELL GAME:

Yes, He Can!
Once again Joseph Badal has proved himself a thriller author above the ordinary cut. Some may think it impossible to write a convincing (and exciting) novel about the recent bank implosions and real estate market collapse, but Joe has both the chops in investment banking and the narrative skill of a polished suspense author to pull off this difficult feat. Just as he excels at international intrigue, readers owe it to themselves to see how effectively and realistically he portrays greed, intrigue, and violence within the United States and inside institutions we’ve long trusted.
Few if any other authors would have the platform to attempt a novel like this. It’s a high dive for anyone to try, but Joe Badal scores a “10” with this judge.
--Rob Kresge, author of the Warbonnet historical mysteries and former CIA senior analyst
