If you put your name in the "search discussion posts" box at the top of the page, it should show you any posts youve made here before. It's not the best tool in the world, but it is better than nothing.

Hi everyone! My name is Angelo and, just in case anybody is wondering, it's not even nearly a coincidence that my first post on this topic follows one about pie...!
I'm a writer, comedian and actor, and also have degrees in law and psychology. I've also just self-published my first ebook - The Artist - which is a crime thriller that touches on fame and psychology. (That's where the autobiographical aspects of it end though, because it's also about a murderer terrorizing London!)
Anyway, it's great to 'meet' you all!
If anyone is interested in reading my book you can find it at:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Angelo-Marcos...
And my website/blog is at:
www.angelomarcos.com
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go find some pie...
Christopher, I don't like key lime pie. But I'm also not a native Floridian, so that might have something to do with it. :)
Abigail wrote: "Christopher, I don't like key lime pie. But I'm also not a native Floridian, so that might have something to do with it. :)"You don't like key lime pie???? You must not have had GOOD key lime pie!
Welcome Angelo!
An uncle of mine eats lemons the same way that 'normal' people eat apples, which I find disgusting, but I guess it proves that some people do have a 'sour tooth'!
Kyle ~The Rebel Leader~ wrote: "Chocolate cake!"Y'all are killing me... A couple of weeks ago my husband was out of town so my son and I had cake and ice cream for dinner. I was the cool mom! Now that I'm down from 6 to 3 in the house, though, it's hard to make all the goodies since there's so much left! I usually wait til my daughter comes home from college and her fiance is here.

I read the first chapter of your novel on Amazon. I have to say it was really interesting. I love Stephen King novels. It also reminded me a bit of John Saul. Good luck!
Hi i am Victoria and i have just written and published my first book on Amazon and am desperate for reviews. The worst thing is when somebody reads it and then doesn't get back to you, i would rather them get in touch and say 'hey your book sucks'. So on that note if anybody is interested in reading a comedy about a woman on the edge please let me know because i am turning into the protagonist of my story. P.s the book is called The Unconventional Life of Jenna Jaghe and is available on Amazon but i would be happy to send a free copy via email if anybody could help me out (just email me - warvici@aol.com)thank you x
Hi Everyone! I'm a newbie. I write but I love to read too. (Just put a hurting on my wallet after picking up some good buys.) Nice to meet everyone!

Hey there! My name is Rebecca Suzanne. I am 26 years old. I have two kids and a dog. I go by Bella to everyone in face value.I have recently published my first book, Monsters & Fairytales. I was recommended to this site through another fellow author. My book is under free promo for today, but usually it's on amazon and barnes & noble just hanging out :) I have written twelve others and am starting on the next one. I imagine myself to be a lot like Jean-Dominque Bauby. Even if i were paralyzed, i would blink my stories to tell.
Hello everyone! My name is Timothy Holloway. I'm a indie-filmmaker and first time author.I recently published my first sci-fi novel, PERIL. It's on Amazon. I hope you all get a chance to read it. I'm looking forward to reading what your thoughts are on it.
Cheers!
Hello boys and girlsI'm a new writer, still haven't published my manuscript, but I'm heading that way. I have hard time letting the manuscript to the editor, I'm always checking and rechecking and every time I feel something is missing. But eventually, one day my novel will be ready to be criticized by you fellow writers and readers.
Hey all! Welcome! Rebecca, I'm with you, it's confusing - but once you get the hang of it, it's great. :o) (It's taken me a couple of months! haha)

Good luck Irena, although I've heard that qriting the book is only half the battle and that promoting it can be as important as writing. Anywho, good luck and enjoy yourself!
Hello everyone! My name is Susie, I am 28 and I LOVE Urban Fantasy. I am an avid reader and have around 30 series that I follow in the genre and a few I keep an eye on in the off chance I have nothing better to read lol.
I also read plenty of other kinds of books, from regular fiction to medium (as opposed to high) fantasy. Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones is about as much as I can take in true fantasy. It also seems that SteamPunk is growing on me so I may be reading more of that.
A little more about me: I have been happily married for over 11 years to a giant (I mean huge as in 6 foot 4 inches tall and 300 pounds) IT nerd. I also have two kids. A beautiful little girl or rather pre-teen who is nearly 12 and a middle schooler this year (heaven help me!) and a son, age 9, who is too smart for his own good and suffers severely from AD/HD and OCD. Needless to say my little family keeps be hoppin', but I always find a good escape into some amazing books.
This year has been exciting for me. In June I finished my Bachelor's degree in Communication and Cultures and then after almost 4 years of work, I launched my debut Urban Fantasy Novel, MUSE. (Don't worry, I promise to be as active in this group as I can and not do "too much" self-promoting.
Launching my book has been exciting and I am happy to answer any questions you may have about it or about writing and publishing. I am always looking for people willing to receive a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. You can find me at: www.susiemhanley.com
All that being said, I am excited to be a part of this group. I probably would have joined a lot sooner, but between school and the book, and family, I didn't have much time for anything else. Things have calmed down though now and I have much more time to pursue my passions. I look forward to getting to know you all, connecting with those passionate about the same things I am and adding some new amazing books to my "read" list.
Thanks!!

Hi, My name is Hannah Harvey, I am 20, I'm a self-published author of young adult fiction, currently with one book available on Amazon, but I'm working on more. I run a website, which includes a blog where I review the books I read, and do updates on my writing.
If you want to check out my site it can be found at http://www.thebooktower.webs.com and you can find my book on amazon at this link https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B008MPCV2K
I'm reading Cliff Garstang's connected stories from Prime Press called What The Zhang Boys Know. It's engrossing. Kindle Daily Deal two Tuesdays ago was my third novel CATCHER, CAUGHT and they sold 2100 copies in one day. I love readers.
I'm Tom Winton, and all three Kindles I've had published in the past 18 months have been Amazon bestsellers. My first two novels, Beyond Nostalgia and The Last American Martyr have been bestsellers three times each. Before publication, both books have been finalists for Random House's YouWriteOn "Book of the Year". My most recent book, Four Days with Hemingway's Ghost, was released just three months ago, and it has already been an Amazon "Hot New Release" as well as a best seller.
I'm really glad to be a new member of your group and look forward to communicating with as many of you as I can.
Oh yeah...I almost forgot, I have a Facebook group called "Tom Winton Authors Helping Authors". They are are a terrific, helpful group of writers.
Thanks so much for reading my post.
Hello everyone! It's great to read the new posts and learn about your interesting books and endeavors!

I am Kathy. Just retired and I am enjoying more reading time that is not work-related, but just for me. Also enjoying trying to bring my yard back after years of neglect. I was a workaholic. I am so looking forward to sitting by the fire in the winter, reading and having a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. That is enjoying life to me. It is hard to imagine a day that I would ever write books. Seems to take a lot of talent and imagination. Like any art, I wonder if a person is just born with it, or it can be learned. It seems when I read authors' websites, or snapshots these folks started writing early in their lives. Just plain creative people!!! I have friends who are digging up old talents they possessed when younger now that they are retired. And I am getting back to knitting and crocheting. (Probably more crafts that art!!)
But I do love reading. All types of books. My favorite are really classic mysteries, but it is hard to find any forums that concentrate on these books, or even include them in the overall books that are being listed. Obviously this group would not be talking to authors that are deceased. That might be more in the fantasy group's range.
I enjoy classic literature like Anna Karenina, and Jane Austin. Same issue with the authors being gone.
But I do read quite a few current mystery and detective stories, so I am looking forward to discussions with authors and group members.
