Andrew Lawston (andrewlawston) | 227 comments Hello - I'm Andrew Lawston. I'm an actor, writer and publishing manager (finance magazines, so no vampire-based pitches please) who lives and works in London.

I'm also a voracious reader, though I seem to have spent most of this year reading scripts to learn lines!

I have a little black cat and enjoy drinking beer, cooking (and eating) curries, and watching Doctor Who. I'm a fluent French speaker and ex-teacher, and have a particular penchant for Nouvelle Vague films.

I've also recently published a collection of my short stories under the title Something Nice - 10 Stories. Most of my stories had been published professionally in some form or other, and it's been great to unite them in a single collection.

I look forward to getting to know this group's members - I already recognise a few names from some of the other Goodreads groups I've joined!

Steve Trotter (steve_trotter) Hi, I'm Steve Trotter, a British-born, Montreal-based writer who has been doing the write thing for most of my life. I have created ad copy, promoted rock superstars, freelanced features for The Miami Herald, The Globe and Mail, and The Toronto Star. On the sensational front I was a staff writer at supermarket tabloids Midnight/Globe and The National Examiner. I am also an award-winning lyricist who spent years belting out tabloid rock in biker haunts and in concerts with Steppenwolf, Mahogany Rush, and Midnight Oil. The latter experiences fueled the fire for RESURRECTED: An Adam Wolf Thriller, book one in my new crime fiction series, on sale now in kindle and paperback at (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0084RD6XE) and (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0084RD6XE)

I am also addicted to reading, a lovely life-altering habit my parents introduced me to in my preschool years. As much as I look forward to introducing readers to the crime thrillers I write, I also welcome the opportunity to engage in discussion with fellow readers and writers. If you would like to get to know me better, feel free to drop by: (http://www.stevetrotter.com)

Sandra | 43 comments Hello, everyone! I love reading books. I can't remember a time when I wasn't surrounded by books, whether at work or at home. Today I download most of my books and store them on Kindle, so I have lots more space on my bookshelves for other things!

I've had a variety of careers before turning to writing full-time. I've published a dozen short stories and recently published, FALSE IMPRESSIONS, my first murder mystery. This tale of jealousy and revenge is available on Amazon Kindle in the US at http://goo.gl/9NGji and in the UK at http://goo.gl/OcaiP (soon on Smashwords).

I love to chat with people and exchange ideas. You can follow my blog and connect with me at http://sandranikolaiauthor.blogspot.ca/

Looking forward to a wonderful time here!

Joseph Lorick (DidEverythingButThink) | 22 comments Hello All,
My name is Joseph Lorick, author of "Did Everything But Think: D.E.B.T." If you are looking for a book that will help you overcome debt problems and provide a laugh or two along the way; this book is for you. I've read several personal finance books, but I found most to be boring and complex. I felt these books were missing what most people need, simple solutions to realistic problems. This was the beginning of my book writing process and I think you will be happy with the results. Check it out at http://www.amazon.com/Did-Everything-...

Ebook at http://www.amazon.com/Did-Everything-...

Here is a small video about my book http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wdWBC...
You can also follow me on twitter @DidEvthButThink or on Facebook for daily debt tips.

Becky McGraw (becky_mcgraw) | 36 comments Hi All,

I'm a newly minted southern romance writer, and brand new GoodReads member. I am very excited to announce that I've just released my debut novel 'My Kind of Trouble' on B&N, Amazon and Smashwords.

My Kind of Trouble is the first in the Texas Trouble series, and is a contempoary cowboy romance with a dash of suspense, and a lot of southern flavor. Please check it out and let me know what you think!
