Hi Jordan! Welcome! 😊
Thrillers and romance are my jam too such a great combo.
I’m actually an author, and my latest book (The Lies We Whisper) blends both emotional suspense with some dark twists and slow-burn tension.
It’s been amazing connecting with readers here, so if that sounds like your thing, feel free to check it out! 💙

M. Ezzat | 2 comments Hi everyone 🌿

My name is Mohamed Ezzat — a cinematic set designer by profession, and a writer by love.
I’ve always been drawn to the kind of stories that live quietly in the heart — the romantic, the philosophical, the ones that echo long after the last word is read.

That’s what led me to write my first book:
“Letters I Never Sent” — a collection of fictional letters, each one written from the perspective of someone aching to say what they never could.
I became each of them, fully. Felt every word before I wrote it.
It’s more than just a book — it’s a tribute to what goes unsaid in all of us.

So far, two e-books have been released, and a special printed keepsake edition is available for gifting. And because I wanted the message to live beyond the page, I also created a notebook inspired by the book’s spirit, coming soon to Amazon.

If any part of this story resonates with you, I’d love for you to read the book, share your thoughts, or just say hello.
Maybe you’ll find a piece of your own story between the lines.

With warmth,
M. Ezzat

Scott Lee (scottleeevansuk) | 6 comments Hello,

I’m Scott Evans, and after nearly 25 years, I’ve finally completed my debut book: a sci‑fi comedy titled The Time Diary. If you’ll indulge me, here’s my quick pitch, plus a free promo offer:

Are you a fan of comedy, sci‑fi, or books that make you question whether you're actually a good person? Did you love The
Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and are still curious about the answer to 42? Are you drawn to character driven chaos and British humour filled with fallible, loveable losers?

If you said yes to any of these, then I think (hope) you’ll love my sci‑fi comedy (soon to be classic), The Time Diary. Today through to Wednesday, I’m able to run a free promotion on the e‑book edition. If you miss that, no worries as I can keep the e‑book at just 99p for the rest of June and July.

If anyone’s going on holiday this summer, please do give the first chapter a try, and hopefully it might just hook you into the rest of the book.

Where to find it?

UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0F8VG16RP

US: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F8VG16RP

If you’re outside of the UK/US, just search ‘The Time Diary by Scott Lee Evans’. It should be available on Amazon everywhere.

So what is the book even about?

The Time Diary is a sci‑fi comedy starring two down on their luck bar stewards, who unexpectedly get tangled up in a new discovery: time travel. Their dull, but safe, ordinary lives quickly spiral into tangled timelines, absurd moral dilemmas, and universe altering decisions.

With nods to Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Red Dwarf, and Black Mirror, it’s full of typical British humour, roguish misfits, and a dollop of heart (though not too much, these are Brits after all).

So please, if you fancy supporting a new author, download my free ebook today (tomorrow, or Weds) and give the first chapter a chance.

I’d love to hear your feedback and a review on Amazon really helps a lot (unless you hate it. I can’t imagine that would help at all, in which case, let’s just keep that between us ;)

If you could also share this with any friends or family who enjoy a good read, I would really appreciate it.

Cheers, and happy reading!

Scott Lee Evans

Wayne (wayneenglish) | 1 comments Hello Everyone,

I’m new here. Just joined a couple days ago and thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself. I’ve published five books. The first with Career Press and four independently published. My last is a work of historical fiction titled Attila’s Revenge. You can see it at Amazon.
I live in Connecticut with my wife, daughter and a yellow budgie. She’s my little bitty buddy. I got here as a writer by a long, circuitous route. My first publication was in Emergency Magazine. It was an article on how an ambulance crew would deal with a radiologically contaminated patient. At the time I was working in nuclear power and volunteering on a local ambulance. Love to see my name in print, or I did then. Not so much now having a string of online and print publications in addition to the books. You can see them at my website WayneAEnglish.com.
Beside writing, I love public speaking. That came my way with a lot of discomfort. Meaning I shook like a leaf when I began. Now, speaking to a group, is the most relaxing place in the universe. Lately my speaking gigs have been online. I prefer speaking in-person. Much more fun.
Lately, I’ve started a couple writing projects: one is a book titled Public Speaking A How To Guide for The Petrified. I'm also working on short pieces for Substack, Medium, and my blog. And, of course, I’m marketing my historical fiction.
I’ve got ideas for a couple science fiction short stories and maybe another book. We’ll see.

Gary Warth | 1 comments Hello everyone, I’m Gary!

I’m an author with a deep love for science fiction, especially stories that explore the intersection of cosmic mystery, political upheaval, and the resilience of the human spirit. I recently released my novel Starseed: Dreams of Another Lifetime, which kicks off a larger space opera series filled with ancient alien wars, fractured timelines, and the struggles of ordinary people caught in extraordinary circumstances.

When I am not writing, I enjoy diving into stories that challenge the mind and stir the imagination, whether that is through books, games, or the endless possibilities of theoretical physics. I am always fascinated by the question, What if the universe is stranger than we can comprehend?

I joined this group to connect with fellow readers and writers, to discover new stories, and to be part of thoughtful conversations. I would love to hear what everyone is reading, what worlds you are exploring, and what kinds of stories ignite your curiosity.

Please feel free to reach out or recommend a great read. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you!Gary Warth

Blake Gunnels | 2 comments Hi everyone! My name is Blake Gunnels, and I’m excited to be here and connect with fellow authors. I’m a landscape architect based in Florida with a lifelong love for storytelling—especially Southern historical fiction set along the coast.

My debut novel, By the Light of the Bluff, was released on June 16th. It’s set on Saint Simons Island, Georgia, in 1873 and follows a young mother seeking refuge and a fresh start. As a lighthouse rises from the shoreline, she finds herself caught between the secrets she’s trying to bury and the hope she never expected to find. It’s a story of resilience, sanctuary, and finding purpose—with a little Southern grit for good measure.

When I’m not writing, editing, or figuring out how to market books without annoying my friends, I enjoy boating, biking, hiking waterfalls, and spending time on the water with my girlfriend and family. I’ve spent over 20 summers visiting Saint Simons Island, which deeply inspired the setting of this story.

I’m here to learn, share, and support other authors on the journey. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Asher Cain (ashercain) | 2 comments Hello! I'm Asher, and Endor is my debut novella. It's a fictional tale inspired by a passage from the Old Testament, exploring the life of the infamous Witch of Endor and those around her in the days leading up to King Saul’s fateful visit—when he asked her to summon the spirit of the prophet Samuel.

It’s not a religious or preachy book. Think of it more as an action-adventure story with elements of historical drama—and maybe even a touch of horror—rooted in a biblical event.

Was writing simple game books, but now I am transitioning into more useful game books - mostly science based and child educational. I want to create games that are non-typical.

You can have it for free, but all I ask is for some constructive suggestions and maybe a review on amazon if you can. I'll upload the complete book file in PDF form in a bit...

Cheers!
