Ella Mckinnon, a psychic see-er and FBi agent-in-traning pulls off a fake kidnapping from evil see-er/FBI agent Jeffrey Von Murren. Ella hides out with the Miller organization at their secret headquarters to continue her training. She begins to discover more sinister things about her life while building her relationship with her former teacher, now boyfriend Cliff Parsons. Jeffrey Von Murren is temporarily blinded by the staged kidnapping of Ella and plans his revenge to take her back. He wants her as his wife and partner in his evil organization. He has a secret weapon that no one yet knows. Will Jeff's ambush of the Miller organization's headquarters get him Ella or will he be in for a surprise of his own as more secrets are revealed?

Michele Gardiner (httpslinktreemichele_writer) | 7 comments Hi,

I'm working on my second book and will be needing an editor soon. I learned from my last experience I would like to find an editor who understands my writing genre (short non-fiction stories), style, rhythm and humor.

Is there a better place to post this question: How do I find an editor who gets me?

This time they will be able to read my first book to see if they can work well with me.

Thanks,

Michele

Hi! My name is Michelle Reeves and I'm an author and podcaster in the UK. My book The Happiness Habits Transformation is here on Goodreads and my podcast of the same name has just relaunched across all platforms - it's great being back behind the mic and interviewing inspiring women again.

My book is non-fiction and fits in the self-help genre. It poses the question "What if your routine could make you happier every single day?"

I feel so privileged to have been able to share it with the world, and even more exciting... the second edition is now with my publisher for release next year with a whole new chapter.

I'm working on reader resources at the moment so if you run a book club or have any specific ideas for resources that you'd like to see from a self-help book as a reader, I'd love to hear from you.

I love reading - fiction and non-fiction, especially personal development books and books with strong female characters 40+

Insight into me as a writer? You'll mostly find me trying to persuade my cats to step off my keyboard so I can delete what they've just typed with their paws :)

I hope you all continue to be happy and healthy during these challenging times.

My name is Nicole Gauder. I am a spiritual alignment specialist, mental healer, and author of Conquer Stress: The Overthinker's Guide to Peace and Happiness which is the first book in the Mental Health Series. I love to write non-fiction, spiritual development, self-help, and personal development books.

When I am not writing I love to read any book that will add to my growth and ascension, and to meditate. I am also passionate about teaching people about the higher truths of life and how they can live up to their highest power and potential.

May you always know your worth and the goodness that life has to offer. Have a blessed remainder of your day. :)

Hi! I'm Geoffrey Wells. I've released my new middle grade thriller, Never Less about two twelve-year-olds who stumble across a secret tunnel being used to smuggle opioids and must now start to save their dads.
Never Less is Book One of the Pablo and Mindy Series. My previous novels are thrillers and explore the themes of freedom, conservation and ecology, and I have independently published them as a trilogy of thrillers with sub-genres ranging from international politics, romantic suspense, and eco-thrillers. In addition, I published the children’s picture book, Moonglow, written by Peggy Dickerson. I am a graduate of the American Film Institute, an award-winning filmmaker, a SCBWI member and a past vice president of communications for the Long Island chapter of the RWA.
And, I'm looking for reviews![ book:Never Less|61836895]

I recently translated my debut novel Green World in English and decided to become a bit more active on international book groups too. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6... I call it a "provocative eco-utopian-dystopian space adventure" I like writing dodgy characters, creating my own mythology and telling a bit frightening, beautiful and darkly humorous stories. At the moment I'm writing the second part of a space opera trilogy which veers towards horror by the end.

Academically I'm specialised in 18th century Gothic and would like to time travel to have tea and chat with Horace Walpole.

John Sauer is an author and adventurer with a passion for indigenous mythology. He is on a quest to track down the creation myths on every continent to a central point where he might just find answers to questions such as, “Who are we?” and “Who put us here?”, and “Why?”
He lives in the Pacific Northwest where he is a Washington State Guardsman, husband, father, and dog dad.

Unofficially I am a diehard fisherman and rock hound. My first post-apocalypse novel The Divided Man Book One is available on Amazon For Kindle and in paperback. I am hard at work on The Divided Man Book Two and a new series.

One of the things I do differently is use AI platforms to help develop visual images of my characters and scenes. It is strange teaching an AI to understand stories. I blog about it. Thanks!

Robert Decker | 2 comments I self-published my first novel, Not to Reason Why, early this year. I enjoy reading creative nonfiction and historical fiction. In writing my first novel, I followed the rule to "write what you know." Hence, Not to Reason Why is a historical fiction novel set during the Vietnam War featuring pilots and families as the characters.

I'm still working on figuring out how to get the book discovered beyond the friends and family group. I am interested in insights from new authors on what worked for them and from readers on how they discovered that gem from a new author.

I have a blog on my website, noblesixhundred.com, featuring background stories behind the story.

Brian Howell | 2 comments Hi. I am re-introducing myself if that’s O.K. I didn’t hang around here very much since that first introduction but I want to be more present this time around. Of course, as a writer I have a new book to plug (The Man Who Loved Kuras, Salt, U.K. – my second collection of short stories) which came out in October. It’s here sans cover photo, for some reason. I am a VERY slow reader and dart about from one unfinished book to another, ironically, and sometimes I think I’m better off just writing a new story, because at least I’ll finish that! Mike Bowerbank | 2 comments Hello, my fellow readers and writers.

I'm an author of novels of assorted genres, a consumer of large quantities of tea, and a neurodivergent thinker.

Regardless of what genre I write in - whether dark comedy, thriller, murder mystery, or biography - the heart of the story resides in those daily struggles we all face and must work our way through.

My characters often have one or more afflictions, whether it's PTSD, ADHD, ASD, social anxiety, or depression, yet none of the characters are defined by them. Just as we're not.

My writing style? Imagine Douglas Adams (without the computer knowledge) mixed with Oscar Wilde (without the Victorian sensibilities).

I hope to get to know you all better, or at least as many of you as I realistically can. Now, stop surfing Goodreads and get back to writing. ;-)

Paul B. | 1 comments Paul B. Thompson, but not the Paul Thompson who writes science fiction (also not the Paul Thompson who played football at the University of Oklahoma or did the weather for awhile in San Antonio). I start almost every morning reading poetry for 20 minutes or so, then I shift to non-fiction, usually tied to my professional interests. Then at night I read fiction. I'm working my way through a bunch of Library of America books I bought back in the 1990s.
I also write books. I'm a retired philosophy professor who specialized in the intersection between new technology and environmental ethics. Some of my books (The Spirit of the Soil) are pretty academic. Some (From Field to Fork: Food Ethics for Everyone) less so. But they are philosophy books; I'm not going to tell you how to cook or what to eat.

Rose Rosetree | 8 comments Greetings, Fellow Writers and Readers,

Yes, I’m looking forward to getting to know many-many-many of you here.

As an indie author, I’ve mostly published nonfiction -- self-help books. To date, I’ve sold over 40 sets of foreign rights to them, along the way developing 11 trademarks. I’ve even had the good luck to have a few of my titles become book club selections.

Besides being a word nerd, I’m also fascinated by personal growth and spiritual awakening; blogging about that on a regular basis, as well as writing the longer-form books.

To say that I love to read books by other writers would be an understatement. So I’m looking forward to meeting you personally; and, if you’re also a writer, I’m very interested in learning about your work.

My name is AJ Paki Perkins and I am a renewable energy and sustainability CEO – turned award-winning author who is best known for my work teaching Hawaiian Values through story.

Along with my children (HIwalani – 17, Puniaikeao – 15 and Alapaki – 13), we wrote the award-winning children’s book: Mahalo Does Not Mean Trash that is coming out on 11/22/22. It's a fun story about gratitude and the true meaning of this treasured Hawaiian value taught by pupu (grandma) to her mo'opuna (grandchildren) that makes you take pause for the truly important things in life. www.mahalobooks.com

I was also a semi-finalist on the new TV show: America’s Next Great Author. The manuscript that was selected, ConBowl (www.conbowl.com), was also a Finalist in the American Writing Awards - Sports Category.

Michael Lareaux | 9 comments Well hello, my Goodreads colleagues! My name is Michael, and I write on occasion, and read on other occasions. I don't have a particular genre, but tend to dabble in certain themes regardless of the setting.

I have one published work, which was picked up by a small publisher in Australia. It's called "A Place to Run Free", and it's a story about a boy's journey through the afterlife of pets. If Dante Alighieri and Maruice Sendak had a baby, it would probably cry, and it would also resemble my book.

The book was mentioned in the fall 2022 issue of Modern Dog Magazine as a "Connie's Book Club" editor's pick.
