Catherine Miele (cdmiele) | 5 comments Hi everyone, my name is Catherine Miele. I am a lifetime reader and writer, but a newly self-published author. I published my debut poetry collection, In Bloom, in June of 2022.

If there are any poets in the community, especially poets in the Southeast USA, I'd love to connect.

I'm currently working on a second poetry collection and hoping to release it by the end of 2022.

Nicole A Birchfield (nicolebirchfield) | 1 comments Hello everyone! Thanks for letting me join the group. I’m happy to be able to connect with other readers and new authors. I’m new to Goodreads, and the first novel in my urban fiction/crime/noir series was published last year. At its heart, the trilogy is about an antihero that readers can’t help but like and root for. He appears to live the perfect life on the surface, but he spends his nights climbing the ranks of a violent organization with a gun in his hand. Please be aware that they contain mature content, like most books that fall into the urban fiction/noir categories. They don’t have many reviews yet, but the ones they do have are very good. If that sounds like your kind of read, please check out the titles below. Ratings, reviews, comments and questions are very appreciated!

The Fall of Jordan
Lazarus Rising
The Red King

Author Tray Real (authortrayreal) | 13 comments Hello, my name is Author Tray Real. I am 56 years young, and I am a new Author. I am so nervous because I am new to Good Reads, and I am a little all over the place. I am retired, I enjoy traveling and writing. I do not have a specific genre as of yet. I have co- written 2 books since November 2021 and have had 4 of my own published under Creative Flow Publications. Last one being an Erotica. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a member. I have no friends as of yet, unless someone has felt sorry for me. I welcome any help or guidance. Thank you!

I hope you can find the time to read my recently published book, if you have a particular taste for the genre time travel, it will be right up your street.

Welcome, Paul! Yes, I like time-travel and my novels include it in the plot. However, my books are focussed on the YA audience. What period in time do your characters travel to?

Mary Woodhouse | 1 comments Hi All,

I am also new to Goodreads, and a new author/editor. I've published an anthology of personal stories, in the New Age genre. The stories of reality creation, healing and love were written by people who have worked with the Lazaris Material over the past 4+ decades.

If you use the "Look Inside" feature on Amazon, you can read the foreword by Jach Pursel, Channel for Lazaris.

Here is the link:

I am fascinated yet slightly overwhelmed by this site!
All the Best,
Mary

Randall Snyder | 20 comments Hey y'all. My name is Randy. I am a retired cop, and former educator, and I have decided to do some writing. I am in the preparation phase of publishing a book that was originally authored by my great-grandfather about a trip he took with three friends in a 1917 Model T driving from Ohio to California. It is based on his journal and has original photos and memorabilia in it. I have expanded on his original with some notes and family stories that didn't make it into his manuscript, along with an epilogue about the guys and their families after the trip. I am also in the editing phase of a true-crime book about my time and cases working internet crimes against children (think a look inside To Catch A Predator). I am hoping to connect with some folks that can give me pointers (and maybe a review or two when they are published).

Welcome to the group, Randall! I write Historical Fiction for pre-teens and teens. Your book detailing the continuation of your grandfather's story sounds like an interesting read. Good luck!

message 19973: by Laura (new)

Laura (skittlecat25) | 1 comments Hello, everyone!
my name is Laura. I love to write, but I yet to publish anything. I do have some things in the works, so that might be changing soon. When writing, I tend to do fantasy, horror, and fluff romance (sometimes a mix of all three!)

I am also a big fan of reading, having an ever growing pile of "to read" books. I find horror, fantasy, and realistic fiction to be my cup of tea lately. I love both graphic novels and literary novels, finding a different type of joy in both.

Come up with several names and google search them-you want to select a title that doesn't have a billion references. If you can get it down to a few hundred thousand-you might have a winner.

M.C. Ajidagba | 8 comments Hi. I'm MC Ajidagba. I'm from Nigeria. I'm a trucker, a writer and I have just published my first book. The inspiration for the story came from the state sponsored terrorist activities currently going on in Nigeria which people around the world may not be aware of. I made a story out of it for posterity and for history's sake. I love this community. It's good to know that I can chat with book lovers about some of the great books I've read.

Good Morning everyone! I am an author and podcaster who is all about the romance. I focus on in-depth, character-driven stories about strong women, second chances, and, of course, a happily ever after.

I currently have six books out, the 4th and 5th ones on audio with more to follow. I'm a 6th-generation Texan and still live in the Piney Woods.

I love chatting with readers and look forward to hearing from you!

Cheryl Fish (wwwcheryljfishcom) | 2 comments My summer reading style is frantic! I am getting ready for the publication of my debut novel, OFF THE YOGA MAT, a coming of middle story of three characters who seek to re-invent themselves, from Livingston Press, University of West Alabama.
I am in a sublet in Western MA, and I picked up some stuff from the house shelves: The Hidden Lives of Trees, and one of David Foster Wallace's books. Also, The Art of Travel, by Alain de Botton. All are provocative and well written.
