Gary Rose | 8 comments Hello again. I am fairly new to this site and forgot to add the link to all of the versions available for my latest publication, The Fourth Reich. https://www.amazon.com/Fourth-Reich-G...
This thriller novel features a strong female protagonist, FBI agent Jeannie Loomis and is the seventh in her series. In this novel she and her team and trying to prevent modern-day Nazis from cloning Adolf Hitler after remains of the dead dictator was stolen from the Russian secret police. It is recommended for adults vs. children and is graphic in parts. Love to read your posted comments. Thans in advance, Gary

Jason M. | 3 comments Hi, I just completed my first book on real estate investing for the average joe! As a real estate broker and teacher, I grew tired of seeing all these scams and pipe dreams on how people could gain a little more financial security with real estate, so I decided to write my book for the average person (like me!) . It was a tool for my investment students to use and has grown into a full book. I hope you enjoy if you choose to pick it up (free on kindle unlimited) https://www.amazon.com/Plug-Holes-Fil...

I do! You can do a lot with a story told from an animal's perspective. I'd recommend them, but they are aimed at a younger audience. The prequal Darkwing is one of my favorite books of all time

Hi Adam, my GoldenEars books are suitable for older children, middle grade to adult readers. Not young children. My books carry a serious message that younger children would not understand.
I am happy to say I have received some great reviews from adults and teenagers alike.
Please anyone reading this just take a look at my GoldenEars duo. They are beautiful books and written in an easy style. The story is intriguing and continues in book two: GoldenEars: The Pale Skulls.

Please don’t dismiss my books because you see the words: animal fiction and think “children only,” they are for everyone who loves a heartfelt story about wolves and a teenage boy’s love and friendship for his wolf, GoldenEars.
Both titles have won “Recommended Read” Awards in Author Shout’s 2022 Book Contest.
My ebook and the paperback for both titles are available from amazon websites and my publisher www.bookguild.co.uk
Give them a go. Wolves need our support! The more people are aware of wolves and their plight, their struggle to survive, the better their chances of survival.
Thanks, Jane.

Mark Sheehan | 11 comments I've given up the main hustle to self publish my book 'The Smallest War'. Writing and publishing is easy, marketing not so much. The main hustle is looking easier by the minute.

I live in Western Australia with my family. It's deep in the bleak of winter at the moment (well, you know, comparatively speaking: its 12 degrees Celsius at 10.00am with an expected high of 17 degrees).

I've posted in the the action/adventure and thriller folders. Please check my post out. I'm looking for readers prior to publishing.

Thank you for reading. Reply or message me directly if you want chat.

Regards

Mark

Tameron Keyes | 1 comments Hi, I'm am a financial advisor in Beverly Hills, California and the author of No Backing Down, My Story of Suing One of The Largest Investment Firms in the World and Winning. It is my memoir about my experience in the financial service industry regarding sexual discrimination. It was a historic Wall Street lawsuit and record breaking of it's type. It also started a domino effect and most major firms were sued in the same way. After I won they settled with thousands of women and had them sign confidentiality agreements. I have a voice so I wrote it to help women in all industries. Women should not have to live with and be judged with the incredible extra burden that is put upon them. No wonder they are behind men in terms of wealth and corporate accomplishment and leadership. If you would like to review it, please let me know. Thank you

message 19895: by Jan (new)

Jan McCleery | 1 comments I'm Jan McCleery. I just published "Finding Jessie Monroe," the third in my spy novel series. I was a software engineer and manager in Silicon Valley, in aerospace, enterprise applications, and technology. After I sold my start-up, I wrote about the fun adventures of a start-up intermixed with practical software tips.

Since then I've published 8 additional books including my memoirs, children's books about the environment, teen fantasy, and nonfiction. My last three were my spy novel series and this last one was my best, if I do say so myself. I'm feeling I'm starting to hone my craft.

Early feedback on Finding Jessie Monroe included:
- Part spy novel, part political thriller and part romance novel. Most of all, it is a statement!
- It is a page turner (& emotional rollercoaster with Jessie).
- The writing is crisp and very descriptive – easy to visualize how each character looks, dresses, etc. Places, too.
- Riveting.
- Your Jessie Monroe series would make for a good movie or mini-series.

But I don't know how to market. I've gotten good feedback from people who've read them, but don't know how to take the next step. Any help appreciated.

S.K. Healy | 3 comments Hello everyone!

Excited to be part of this community now, it seems like a cool place.

I am a writer and reader (a bit of a slow one). Originally, I wrote poetry but have written my first novel in the last couple of years. It’s a YA, supernatural adventure story. I am currently working on publishing it, either by myself or with a traditional publisher.

Hopefully we can help each other over time!

Anywhoo, good to be here.

Peace out ✌️

message 19898: by Sammie (last edited Jul 06, 2022 04:53PM) (new)

Sammie (sammiemarsalli) | 10 comments Hello, My name is Sammie Marsalli. I am new here and recently published my first book "Preventing Her Shutdown" Losing my Wife To Alzheimer´s. I am an American but I live in Santiago Chile. My wife is Chilean who was diagnosed 5 years ago.

This book started out as a daily diary of how my wife´s behavior was dramatically changing and how I was affected and began to relate to her differently. Writing helped me ventilate my deepest emotions and reactions in private as they were too personal to express to others. Somehow writing "alleviated" my continuous sorrow. Soon this diary turned into this book.

It is inside look of what an ongoing caregiver spouse goes through in my desperate 24/7 effort to keep my wife with Alzheimer's "connected" to me and our family. I am not an expert or an authority on Alzheimer's. I never pretended to be. I am simply an ordinary “John Doe” caregiver, husband sharing my experiences living and caring for my wife with Alzheimer's. We have been married 43 years and I am trying to not let go and avoid her shutdown.

Real time experiences and actions "racing against the Alzheimer's clock" to keep her “connected” with me, family and her surroundings, even though she no longer speaks are detailed in my never-ending battle.

We live alone and this was a way of documenting this period of our lives. The book was just published a couple of weeks ago but my diary continues as my fight in preventing her shutdown is ongoing. This was a little about me and my book and why I am here.

Thank you. Really nice to be here.

Vol 1 Happenstance covers the 20th century from the time my great grandparents homesteaded in Oregon, until I came back from my Peace Corps tour in Kenya 1971.

Vol 2.Against the Tide is about bringing an Africa family of 6 to Washington state. That produced several productive citizens and one Iraq/Afghanistan veteran.

Bruce McCombs | 2 comments Hi, Bruce McCombs here! I am an alum of Oracle Corporation, an expert in enterprise software sales, and an award-winning certified coach helping sales leaders improve their performance. I am a decorated ballroom dancer, speaker, philanthropist, and wine enthusiast. But my favorite title is, servant leader.

My new book, How to Be Happy on Mondays, is a punchy life coaching manual disguised as a heartwarming memoir. This is a reminder that life is like a roller coaster, with lots of highs and lows and unexpected twist and turns before its over.
