Jenifer Kanin (garyumasked) | 1 comments Hi,

I am Jenifer Kanin, author and reader. My book is Unmasked - a mystery story told from a raccoon's point of view. Think: Agatha Christie meets Watership Down with a touch of humor.

I am an avid reader as well. Love the classics - Frankenstein and Tale of Two Cities are some of my favorites. Mysteries - anything Agatha Christie or Sherlock Holmes. Big Micheal Crichton fan.

Feel feel to message me about any books!

Maya Asher | 1 comments Hello everyone! I'm new to the group and a new author. I'm a very private person but have a lot of stories that I would love to share with the world and so I go by the name of Maya Asher.

My first book is novella called The Coffee Shop Girl which is a sweet romantic comedy about heartbreaks and fresh starts and is available on kindle unlimited https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09...

I also love to read all types of romance books, the favs being romcoms, paranormal and mafia romance. And now I'm at the part where I delete and retype a few hundred sentences because I don't always know what to say about myself, so let's connect and bond over our shared love of HEAs!

Tracey Zielinski (tracey_zielinski) | 1 comments Get it Together Forever: The Ultimate Guide to Stepping into Control of Your Own Life
Hello everyone. My name is Tracey Zielinski and I am now a published author! My book is a self-improvement book: Get it Together Forever: The Ultimate Guide to Stepping into Control of Your Own Life. So far the reviews are pretty awesome, but I would love more from discerning readers such as yourselves.

The book outlines a simple and extremely effective process I have developed over 20+ years as a clinical psychologist. It gives easy-to-follow strategies that are designed to help you declutter your mind and build resilience and problem-solving skills.

Get it Together Forever is available through Amazon as either an e-book or paperback: https://www.amazon.com.au/Get-Togethe...

Alternately you can get the paperback through my website: https://www.getittogetherforever.com/

If you do get the book, I would love to hear your feedback!

cheers
Tracey

T.S. | 1 comments Hi Y’all!
I’m TS Ellinghausen and I’ve written two fun/quirky murder mysteries:

The Cheesehead Shuffle
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...

and
Stop, Drop, Rock and Roll
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...

I’ve always been a book nerd - That is to say, on the reading side of book nerdium. Then, a few years ago, I discovered the exhilaration of writing books. Wait… You mean, I get to make this experience interactive? Making up characters and putting them in interesting and funny situations, and then figuring out ways to have their character arcs come together in a satisfying ending? Maybe have a few laughs along the way? For real? Count me it! So, here I am, avidly reading and writing and now working on my third novel.

Thanks for adding me to the group!
TS Ellinghausen

Aaron Pfau | 9 comments Hello, all! My name is Aaron, 30, from Michigan. I'm both an author and an avid reader. I've written many short stories and have just recently self-published my first book on Amazon (a middle-grade horror 82K words). It is listed on Goodreads if anyone is interested in being first to read or review. More of my short stories can be found on writing.com https://www.writing.com/main/portfoli....

I'm looking for an opportunity to connect with others readers and authors, especially since I am quite inexperienced when it comes to the literary business world. My favorite authors of all time would have to be HP Lovecraft, Shirley Jackson, Walter Lord, Poe, and Cormac McCarthy.

I look forward to meeting everyone here!

Lawrence Patrick O'Brien | 4 comments Lawrence P. O'Brien (https://www.lawrenceobrien.ca/)
My stories describe life in the early 1800s and involve fantastical characters (e.g. Clochan, Wrights).

To Jewell below who hasn't finished any of her projects I say this: If you decide to write a novel DON'T TELL ANYONE until it's ready for print. AGAIN, that's no-one. Absolutely no-one. If the new life has worth, it will prick your being-your soul until it moves on ... and on AND ON. I hear that it's easy to quit smoking. It's the stopping, the re-starting that's hard. Good writing is hard work. If a good pat on the back is all you are looking for, get a back rub. The rest is distraction.

L.R. Hunter (lr_hunter) | 4 comments Hello world! I'm LR Hunter, a new author hopefully bringing a fresh voice and perspective to a stigmatized industry, and shedding some light on the inner feelings, outer stimuli, occupational hazards, and institutional biases surrounding some women and their career choices.

I've always dreamed of being an author and derive my writing style largely from Jane Austen, L.M. Montgomery, and Charles Dickens although I try to keep a more modern pace with the flow of events and dialogue.

I'm excited to be here and meet everyone, and especially excited to start chatting about important topics and current events!
