Hi. My name is Ingen Kropp and I just wrote my first book. It's a Sci-Fi novella titled "Grey Eye" now available on Amazon Prime. Here is the link to my Authors Page: https://www.amazon.com/author/ingenkr....It's a story that will take 5 to 6 books to tell. Our hero lives in a Empire set a thousand years in the future. A bright shiny age with very dark nooks and crannies. Sarcasm and dark humor abound.
The book is free to Prime members. Contact me if you want to do a review. Thanks.
Hello! My name is Teddy Hitaffer. I am a 17-year-old, self-published Christian author. At 15, I wrote and self-published my first book, Bravery Doesn't Come From A Copper Coin. Now, at 17, I'm publishing my second book and first novel, The Eaters (which will be released in 18 days)! I've always had a passion for creative writing and have been doing so for over a decade. I love to connect with readers and fellow authors!
Good afternoon one and all. My name is Mylon, but I write under M. C. Gladd. I am a new author, ok a fifty year old new author. It's never too late, right? I have been an avid life long reader and because I have an overactive imagination, I started writing as well. I should have done it years ago.I wish I'd discovered Goodreads years ago. I love the communal nature of it. I just self-published my first book on Kindle, "Nowonderland." I got the idea for it while pondering what my take on hidden fantasy worlds like Oz, Narnia, and Wonderland, would look like. A story was born! I have ideas for a sequel already. I'll probably make it a trilogy.

As a 66 year old (who likes to think of himself as an author), I started writing at around 17, but this was all comedy and I have continued to do so with a modicum of success (Many plays published on 2 Internet sites where people buy scripts to perform). My main focus at the moment are novels. I published my first novel in the Parthena series (A western mystery adventure that links Victorian London and the Jack the Ripper murders, with the wild west of Wyoming), in 2020 when I was 65. My new novel which is completely different is called Harbinger Island a new detective mystery series, with the second book All Roads Lead, due to be published shortly. Harbinger Island is an English mystery whodunnit that centres around Detective Inspector James Copperfield and his family. I am also in the process of writing a new Western novel. This I assume must mean, 66 is the new 36.
Still going strong.
Hi everyone! I'm an author, journalist, English and History professor in Europe, and excited to be here.My historical mystery is due out next month: ACONITE Queen of Poisons, about one of Brooklyn's first woman doctors in the 1920's, a Homeopathy-trained physician (indicative of this time), who used poison plant remedies.
In this series, Dr. Josephine gets mixed up in several botanical crimes. My first book, ACONITE, is indeed based on a true life story.
I'm looking for ARC reviewers on behalf of my publisher Solis Mundi.
I hope I can read and review other historical mysteries (preferably with loads of history and exposition is fine with me --I'm a history professor, after all), that teach me something new about the times, with some fascinating undiscovered heroines.
Hello, my name is Shawn Adair Johnston. I am a blind, retired forensic psychologist who, instead of doing more psychological evaluations of criminal offenders, is now writing sci fi/fantasy books. My first book, How the Blind Detective and His Seeing Eye Dog Saved the Narwhals, is currently available in all the usual places. I am hoping that some of you in the author/readers group might be willing to review this attempt to introduce a blind hero into popular literature. The book is a blend of sci fi, fantasy, mystery and adventure and I would be happy to provide you with a copy of the book to review. The easiest way for me to do this would be to email you a copy of the manuscript. You can also check me out as well as the book at my website www.theblinddetective.com. I also have an author's page at Goodreads if you would prefer contact me that way. Thanks for your consideration!
Hi All, I'm Nicky. I live on the Essex coast in England. Great to be here. I have written a novel based on the life of a local woman born in 1720. My first novel. What a struggle and delight. I had no intentions of writing a historical romance, but there you are. I am in the arduous process of self publishing. Reading wise, I am reading the short stories of Alice Munroe. How harrowing the ordinary lives of people can be. Anyway, it's good to be here.
I'm Firdaus from Kenya. A junior software engineer who enjoys reading lots of books and writing poetry. I read technical books, fiction, self-help..humor. Recommend books that you would like me to read, currently reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte This year, I've published a poetry anthology, Of Scattered Tears
containing poems about heartbreak and failed love relationships. Have several more draft that I'm planning to publish soon. Thanks

Hi everybody. I'm Sammi from the UK, and I've just published my first book. Which is scary and exciting.Guilt Storm is a paranormal romance the first in my Rock Falls series. The next three will out over the next three months. So again that scary and exciting.
I'd love to hear from anyone who'd like to give me an honest arc review.
Good Day,This group takes me back to the days of King Arthur and all the wonderful tales written about him. I am glad to be joining the roundtable. I am a brand new author and member of GoodReads. My first novel is NUERA1. I am still learning the ropes of GoodReads and the writing world. I will be publishing the second novel in my trilogy later this year, The Last Holy See.
I love to read authors like James Rollins, David Golemon, Evan Currie, Matthew Mather, Pierce Brown and I could go on and on. I grew up reading the classics (in my opinion) Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, Terry Brooks, J.R.R. Tolkien, Frank Herbert, David Brin, and many others. Now thanks to some giveaways, I've read some good books by new authors (new to me), J.W. Elliot, and M. York.
My first trilogy is a fusion of politics, religion, and hard science. This had made for a difficult time hitting the correct genre for selling on sites like Amazon. I am currently sticking with Religious Science Fiction. It also fits the genre of thriller suspense.
I live in Oldham County, Kentucky on a 25-acre tree farm, with chickens, bees, dogs, one cat, and a loving family. I do not currently have a website. You can learn more about me on my Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/GENSHIPTRILOGY/
Cheers and good reading and writing,
Henry

Hello, my name is Shawn Adair Johnston. I am new to Goodreads and hoping to find some folks who would be willing to review my first book, How the Blind Detective and His Seeing Eye Dog Saved the Narwhals. The book is a blend of sci fi, fantasy, and mystery with much humor, a good adventure story and a covert but serious consideration of the nature of consciousness. Taking place 60 years in the future, the book contains surgically altered/intellectually augmented animals (a dog, a porpoise and a chimp). As a retired forensic psychologist with a specialization in neuropsychology, I believe that the book describes the personalities and behaviors of these non-human crime fighters in a genuinely realistic fashion, while also considering some of the legal and ethical issues that will arise in the next few decades, once such augmentation has taken place in the real world. In all, I think the book involves a good adventure story with much humor though containing a great deal of food for thought. If you would be interested, please contact me directly at shawnjohnstonphd@comcast.net. Being blind, I should note that the easiest way for me to get you a copy of my first book would be to email the manuscript to you in a word document. Finally, anyone interested in reviewing my book who has also written a book that they would like reviewed, I'm ready, willing and able to do so.
Hello everyone,My name is Jeremy M Moore. While I work in Pharmaceuticals, my passion is fantasy writing. My degree is in English with a Writing Specialization.
To date, I've self-published two novellas, "One for the Road" and "Cat-a-tonic Book 1: Marcus' Misadventure". My plan is to have about 14 publications before I'm finished.
A YouTuber reviewed "One for the Road" saying that "while it is not my cup of tea, it's a quick read. So if you think it's a waste of your time, it won't be a huge waste of your time."

My first novel was published recently. It's called Bloodlines: Book 1 of the Darkhami Chronicles. The book is fantasy adventure and is written for young adult level. Below is a review I was given by a reader:) (It's exciting to hear good reviews!)The person who bought your book brought it back and loaned it to me. She told me I absolutely HAD to read it! Said it was one of the best books she'd read in a long time. I took it home but, unfortunately, haven't had a minute of spare time this week. Can't wait to get to it. Oh, she also wanted to pay me ahead for the next one to be sure she got it right away. Told her it wasn't ready yet but I'd be sure she got a copy when it does come out.
Hi Colleen. All good fortune and success with your writing.Stay safe, and God bless.

Hello Book Lovers! After a 30+ year career as a non-fiction author, I took the plunge and my debut historical novel, Lies That Blind by E.S. Alexander (Penguin Random House SEA) came out on the 19th October. I read a New York Times article the other week about a woman whose debut was published in her 50s. I can do better than that, because in less than two weeks after my pub date, I'll celebrate my 67th birthday. So...if you feel you have a book inside you and think it's "too late" - think again!
In the meantime, if you're interested in historical fiction and would like an introduction to very different culture and place -- Penang, Malaya in the late 18th century, complete with dastardly East India Company agents, pirates, and a disgruntled sultan -- please check out Lies That Blind. As one reviewer kindly described it:
"We are also given a coming of age story from an interesting angle, a young Englishman who questions both himself and the unsavoury details of the colonialism his country was exporting."
