J. Denison Reed (jdenisonreed) | 11 comments Hello all! My name is Jim (Nom-de-plume: J. Denison Reed) and I am a reader and writer.
I started out writing short stories and poems and after two years of hard, but enjoyable work, published my very first novel, Clifford's War
(https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...)

It is a fiction/Action-adventure book about a Military Vet Private Investigator who was hired by the Mafia and forced to become a hitman. It is packed with action and has comedy sprinkled in to relieve the tension. :)
I would really like to hear what readers think of my book. So far I have received nothing but raving reviews and comments about it. Please add it to your list and follow/friend me.
Thanks a bunch, and I will see you all on the boards!

Libby James (libbyjxo) | 2 comments Hey everyone,
Im libby and am currently in the process of publishing my second book.
I write horror/fantasy and to be honest that's how I spend most of my days. That is if I am not out walking my fur baby Mr Buster. I get a lot of my inspirations from my dreams and shows like most haunted so that can give you a tiny indicator to the feeling of my writing.
Hope to connect to some new writers and read some of your amazing work

Hello Aaron,

I am a new author of science-fiction and have one or more books needing a review if you enjoy that genre. Do you provide feedback only for spelling/grammar/structure or do you review for how engaging the stories and characters are?

Alastair Dorsett | 1 comments Hi everyone, I started writing a finance series this year and have published two books in the series to date.

As I'm sure you all know, getting better at marketing is as big a challenge as writing the damn things!

I've found Bookbub has been the most effective platform for me so far but I want to give Goodreads a try and see if I can get myself out there.

Read | 2 comments reader, writer, painter ~ learning guitar! so excited about finding new authors to follow...this week Keema Waterfield and Laura McHugh simply blew my socks off! but also motivated me to WRITE MORE and better :) I still send FREE books as I am just building a network and plan to find a pen name if/when I actually write a book to please an editor or agent :) (yes...that is a bothersome sticky point with me)

Mark Sanders | 9 comments Hi Everyone.
My latest crime thriller, 'At Rock Bottom', is currently free on Kindle if anyone would like to take a look and give some honest feedback.
It's a tale of someone hitting their lowest point only to be faced with the prospect of a moral dilemma. A fortune that could change their lives forever. But that fortune may not be theirs.
Have a great weekend.

Michael Scharen | 147 comments

Hello,

My name is Michael Scharen and I'm a new author of science-fiction books. One can find the descriptions here on Goodreads.com or on my website michaelsbookcorner.com.

I've made a lot of improvements to my website so I need to promote it. Yesterday I made new video that I'm really happy with but for some reason cannot get the final processing to work! Does anyone else out there use VSDC Video Editor? If you'll do the processing of a 4 minute VSDC Project File into an MP4 or .AVI, I'll send you a couple of e-books! This is really frustrating when things like this happens.

I hope everyone else's day/week/month/year is going sweimmingly...

I can be reached for this deal through authorScharen@physicist.net

Cheers!

Michael J. Scharen

With the advent of crypto-currency and blockchain technology it has become a herculean task for the authorities to trace, gather evidence and institute legal proceedings against the culprits.

John Traphagan (jwtraphagan) | 4 comments Hello, I'm John Traphagan. I'm an anthropologist and have published several books. My most recent is called Embracing Uncertainty: Future Jazz, That 13th Century Buddhist Monk, and the Invention of Cultures. The book brings together my experiences as an anthropologist who has worked in Japan for most of my career, as well as my ideas about music, Zen, and ethics.

I look forward to seeing reader comments and interacting with those interested in the book. My next book is a murder mystery set in rural Japan called The Blood of Gutoku. It brings together my work as an ethnographer with the murder mystery genre.

I've been an avid reader since I was 13 and after many years and several courses on creative writing I discovered that I can Write!
What a privilege to be in a career that contributes to changing the world and making an impact on people's lives. Not only that, when you write and you publish, you remain forever present even after you die.
On June 17th 2021 my novel "An Architect on a Mission" is selling in all major internet bookstores. I hope to keep writing but more than anything I trust that my novel will touch people's lives.

John Gorman | 1 comments Hi All,
My name is John Gorman. I write sci-fi/fantasy and whatever else that happens to fall into the slipstream subgenre. For the past two years, I've been working on my Nebilon Series. I call it humorous epic fantasy. Something like a mashup of Discworld meets Earthsea but different. Anyway, I will soon be releasing the 3rd book of the series. I'd like to connect with other readers and authors in the same genre. Also, if anybody is interested in doing reviews, I'd be happy to discuss. Look forward to being in touch.

I have published nearly a hundred short stories and essays in literary magazines, and worked for a time as a joke writer for Jay Leno, yet always felt vaguely dissatisfied because I hadn't written a novel. Now I have--it's called RUDE BABY, and was recently published by First Edition Design Publishing.

Rude Baby, a novel

Once I receive my author's copies, I intend to do a giveaway. Any other ideas about how I can engage readers?
