SWIT AUTHOR (goodreadscomswitlapound) | 33 comments Hey guys! Awesome to be part of this forum♥️. I am Swit La Pound, a fairly new author from South Africa. I have four books published this far. I am passionate about Women and Children's issues, especially revolving around Abuse, and also celebrating my culture and heritage. My first two, Flower in Flames(fiction) and Emotions(memoir) (book 1 & 2 in the "It's a men's world" series) revolve around Abuse of Women and children, the reality and the mental and behavioral implications. My third, RUGGED Riches, My love, My Billionaire, is a romance... With murder, revenge and intrigue to offer. The fourth, What if? Absurd Short Stories, is a collection of short stories that celebrates African culture... The muti, search for immortality, inhuman transformations and more. The last one, currently ongoing, though available for FREE reads, is Randomness OVERLOAD. This one has no genre, it's a fusion and blend or the chaotic creativity that occurs in my head.. It has poetry, short entries, short stories and mere thoughts. I love reading almost every genre, as long as the story is unique and captivating❤️❤️❤️❤️

K.R. Hofhiens | 1 comments HI! I just found this forum, and I'm excited by the activities here! I'm looking forward to being an ARC for children's book authors! How cool is that!
I am a recently retired librarian. I love to read books - middle grade and YA. I just published the Mound Builder series for middle grade readers. It has two story lines - one set in today's pandemic environment and the other set in the Mound Builder civilization of 74 BC North America. I love writing!

message 18157: by Lis (new)

Lis Anna-Langston | 13 comments Hi,. I am Lis. I write primarily Middle Grade/YA novels and I write a ton of short stories that are published in literary journals. My short fiction is mostly literary fiction, some mainstream. I read a ton and I am always on Goodreads looking for new titles. Almost everything I read comes from bloggers or readers I follow on here.

message 18158: by Casey (new)

Casey Dorman | 1 comments Hello group. I am an author of about a dozen books (it looks like more if you go to my profile, because I edited a literary journal for 7 years and it lists every issue). My latest is a sci-fi thriller called Ezekiel's Brain. I'm doing everything I can think of to publicize it, and it's selling pretty well on Amazon, but I'd love to get more reviews. I've got a cool video about the book on YouTube at https://youtu.be/xyHpK2OV49E if you want to take a look. I'm into writing and very experienced so I'm looking forward to some productive discussions. All genres are open to me, except maybe romance, in terms of talking about the joy and pain and sometimes even the feeling of success when writing. It's a craft and it's one that's never mastered... not by me anyway.

Theresa Errante-Parrino | 19 comments Dr. Theresa (this is you)

What Dumbass Doctors Tell You: A Patient’s Perspective. A breast cancer book from a patient's perspective. The theme of this book is patient self-advocacy. The need for the patient to be knowledgeable in cancer expectations from diagnosis to surgery to post-follow-up care. Patients have a right to second opinions, to have providers they feel comfortable with, and to self-advocate when they believe they have a serious health concern such as cancer.

I like the video Casey. I did not know video book trailers were a thing until I was introduced to them on goodreads.com. I sure had a lot of fun making mine, but are they an effective marketing tool?

Casey, as far as mastering anything, I like to quote a mentor of mine. "You're either green and growing or ripe and rotting." The video trailer was great. Putting 'Ezekiel's Brain' on my TBR. I'll have to get my daughter to help me make a trailer. That's above my pay grade. :)

I've had a half dozen books published traditionally with NY publishers but haven't had anything new out in a number of years. I'm self-publishing a collection of short stories called Lost Creatures that's coming out next month and am happy to provide digital ARCs for honest reviews. Hello Scott,

I am a new author, but I recently started a group here on goodreads.com. It is called Authors' Review Exchange. It is a place for authors to hook up with other authors to read each other's work then write a an honest review for Goodreads.com. As you are a seasoned author, I hope you will check it out and consider joining -- it certainly can't hurt :)

Cheers!

I live with my husband, kids, and dogs in Cincinnati. If I'm not reading something interesting, I'm being creative in every way possible.

Ruthie (ruthieram_reads) | 25 comments Hello!

I'm an avid book reader and reviewer and I run a bookstagram @ram_reads with 1,600 followers

I love helping to support indie published(small publishing house) and self-published authors.

You can hire me to read, review (on Goodreads, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc), create creative feature Instagram/TikTok posts, and conduct an Author Interview with you on Instagram. I have various packages to choose from and my pricing is very reasonable.

I've already worked with several self-published authors and you can reach out to them to see what they thought of my work.

Jenny White author of Break The Chains A story of love against all the odds by Jenny White

Jo Gache author of Zalkea Origins by Jo Gache

Katie Masterman author of The Doll House by Katie Masterman

and AJ Navab author of Daybreak by A.J. Navab

Send me a message here on Goodreads, an email at ram_reads@yahoo.com, or check out my Instagram page @ram_reads to see what the posts would look like and send me a direct message there.

I'll read your synopsis first to see if it sounds like something I would enjoy reading, I read almost anything.

Paying for a review/creative social media posts doesn't guarantee a higher star review. The payment is for my time and for the reach of my platform.

I look forward to hearing from y'all!
