Daniel Hickey | 1 comments Hello everyone, my name is Dan Hickey. I've been writing investment letters for about 25 years and have finished a non-fiction book written for my three sons called A Classic Path Through High School: For Exceptional Early Teens. It's a capsulized liberal arts education combined with modern science regarding the teenage brain. The book is intended to help teens who are on a good path in life from succumbing to the classic pitfalls of adolescence. With a focus on self knowledge, the reader will develop their individual talents to realize their destiny in life.
I've completed the work with my editor and illustrator and am finishing up the formatting and plan to publish on KDP in coming days. Please check out AClassicPath.com and let me know if you would like to review a pre-release copy.
Thanks,
Dan Hickey

Victor López (victordlopez) | 8 comments Hi Everyone,

My name is Victor D. Lopez, and I am a professor of legal studies, attorney and author who lives and works in the U.S. (New York).

I've published both non-fiction (various textbooks and trade books) through traditional publishers and self-published collections of short fiction and poetry, including the following two books in the past two months:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
and
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...

My debut novel , Hire Lernin', should be out sometime this spring or early summer. The complete first nine chapters are available for free preview at https://www.wattpad.com/story/2556257... and https://www.booksie.com/644807-hire-l.... Both sites have previews of some of my books (fiction and non fiction) and a few of my scholarly articles in refereed journals and law reviews.

Like most of us here, I am an avid reader with tastes as varied as those reflected in my own writing--from science fiction and fantasy to law, politics and science fact with much else in between.

I am grateful and pleased to be in your good company.

Christine Cazeneuve | 14 comments Hi everyone. I'm Christine and I just retired from Kodak after 44 years, most of them as a WW Real Estate Manager - I love to read and I mean LOVE! Now I have plenty of time to do just that.

Last year I read 189 books and reviewed all of them. I am active on Goodreads, B&N, NetGalley, Amazon and Edelweiss. I am thinking of starting my on vlog or blog - not sure what.

My preference is for historical fiction, true crime, history, biography/memoirs and dystopian sci-fi. So if you need someone to read, edit or whatever - feel free to reach out.

Happy to help and meet all!

Jack Montgomery | 2 comments Hi all,

My name is Jack Montgomery and for the last 17 years I've been working as a travel writer specialising in Slow Travel, especially around Europe.

Last year I published the first book I've written which isn't actually a travel guidebook, Camel Spit & Cork Trees: A Year of Slow Travel Through Portugal.
It's a travel memoir which chronicles four seasons of living in, and getting to know, less well known parts of Portugal whilst renting a house beside a former smuggler path in remote Alentejo right on the border with Spain, then a converted wine press on a small farm near the Sado Estuary south of Lisbon.

https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/sho...

I'm still sort of finding my feet in the Goodreads community, but I am looking forward to getting to know like-minded people.

Amit Vaidya | 13 comments Heya all, I'm Amit, Originally from a small town outside of Nottingham in the UK. In 2010, I packed my bags for a backpacking trip to Australia and have not looked back. I lived a nomadic life for a decade and I was forced back to England because of the pandemic but the last year has given me the chance to finish a book I started writing in Borneo, and continued in Portugal.

It's so exciting that the book is finally published & available on amazon.

My book: You, Yourself & the World is for anybody no matter what age, looking to long term solo travel in the future, just curious about it or can't fathom how It's possible. It takes readers behind the facade of pretty fluffed up pictures, the way so called influencers portray it to be and answers 100+ questions, concerns and fears.

I've only been on Goodreads for a few days so still finding my feet, but looking forward to reading and sharing some fantastic work here.
