Introduce Yourself!
The latest novel by Western author Paul F. Murray is titled “The One Who Loves You.” It is a Western romance which takes place in Wyoming Territory shortly after the end of the Civil War. Daniel Hackett has a decision to make: should he stick with his original goal of establishing a cattle ranch near Fort Bridger, or should he succumb to his girlfriend’s incessant demands that he pan for gold instead so that he, and she, can become rich and live in luxury?Meanwhile, Daniel and his family have to rescue two orphaned sisters who are living alone in the mountains. The older sister, Saylor Tucker, is 18 and beautiful, but unlucky in love because she has a problem—she is mute after surviving a childhood disease. But maybe Daniel will turn out to be what Saylor has been looking for? Especially since she is a real whipper-snapper at handling cattle on her cutter horse?
Other Western novels by Paul F. Murray include “Against the Wild Green Range” about a 22-year-old young woman who inherits a cattle ranch in 1873 Wyoming Territory near hostile Sioux land, and “West of the Sunset” about a group of emigrants on the Oregon Trail in 1852, featuring Angelique Hapsburg, Austrian emigrant who wants to land the young man she can’t stop thinking about, despite the fact that he can’t stop thinking about the wagon train’s femme fatale and wants nothing to do with Angelique, or so he thinks.
Other novels by Paul F. Murray include “Freedom’s Long March” and “The Gifts and the Fruits”, historical fiction which takes place during the days of the Roman Empire.

T.L. Davis, novelist and screenwriter. I enjoy reading and really have to as research for the books I write, which are largely historical to some degree in that they are Westerns a lot of the time, sometimes not. When I write screenplays, I need to know the facts of the time and place. I recently read one screenplay that took place in 1934 that referenced Seabiscuit. That didn't seem right so I looked it up, sure enough, while Seabiscuit would have been a 1 year old, often the age they start racing, there is no way it would have been well known to have been mentioned by the general public. That didn't happen until 1937 when it beat War Admiral. So, that's me.
Hi, all! I'm a YA Fantasy/All Fantasy author. I just launched my debut novel TRINE RISING. Not all blessings are gifts...mwhahaha.While other kids read comic books under the covers with a flashlight at bedtime, I wrote Star Wars fan fiction and fantasy stories. I became a journalist, and was honored with several press awards for business and economic reporting. I've also worked in healthcare, and currently run my own freelance writing and marketing support firm. I live in Arizona with my oh-so-patient husband and my little black dog (who is equally patient). I no longer write under the covers by flashlight. Usually.

Hi, I am Ratna Srivastava and I just self-published my first novel 'Emit Eht'. I was originally a kindergarten teacher having no experience, ambition or qualification for writing a novel. One day I was meditating when I saw startling images of Earth that shook me so violently that I resigned from my job and started writing Emit Eht. You can find more details on my website https://www.ratnasrivastava.comEmit Eht is just Time spelt backwards. It is a story of a kindergarten teacher who takes on the responsibility of saving the world with just the tools of her trade and in the process learns the mystery of time that in real world (means real actual world of today) historians and scientists are struggling to solve.
What I myself find surprising is how the story winds from modern science fiction to metaphysical and spiritual. Some people who read Emit Eht told me how they felt 'shaken and awake' when they finished it.
I am looking forward to meeting you all.

Hello. My name is Patrick J. O'Connor, and I have been a member of Goodreads for over ten years, but somehow missed this group! I am author of eleven science fiction novels on Amazon Kindle Books, and have been active in local science fiction conventions and Worldcons, until that sort of thing dried-up this year... ): I became a student in a workshop about Marketing Books on Amazon a few months ago and have found it useful in terms of increased sales and Kindle Unlimited pages read, until last week. Around Wednesday, Kindle Unlimited (KENP) readership suddenly dropped off to zero and stuck there since that day until now. I'm puzzled. Is that something anyone else among the authors out there has seen? Does anybody know if something general happened, or is it just me? P. Hi! I'm Jason. I joined Goodreads years ago but haven't really been active in it. That's changing as I've been getting more into my own writing (I've written a couple of short stories and am trying to finish a novel) and the publishing business in general. I live in Sweden and am pursuing a master's degree in media and communications, while also interning at a Danish marketing firm. I'm very much into getting more involved in helping not only other authors get the boost they need but also growing my own skills in that area, having gotten a taste for it in promoting Tobias Bukkehave for the internship. If any authors need help with boosting themselves, writing guest posts, reviewing, etc. let me know and we can figure something out!

Hi! I'm Ros Yazz. I've recently had some reviews about a rewritten blurb that pushed me in the direction to update my book. I'm looking for reviewers, critics, and advisers. Triggers: erotic scenes, mention of rape, and murder.
Hello, I'm Jamie, and I'm new to Goodreads. I've just written a book. Uh, I also have a dog, I'm a dog person. I mean, not literally a dog-person, that would be weird. Well, not that I have anything against werewolves, or anything, they're fine people, sometimes. I mean, dogs and wolves are related, right? Although there's not much wolf in my dog, she's more of a fluffball than a savage beast. With big eyes that stare at me whenever I eat a sausage roll. Anyway, books! Love a good book. I've been staring at my bookshelf trying to answer a question, and I still haven't found the answer: What's the most perfect book you've ever read?
Jamie wrote: "Hello, I'm James, and I'm new to Goodreads. I've just written a book. Uh, I also have a dog, I'm a dog person. I mean, not literally a dog-person, that would be weird. Well, not that I have anythin..."Hi Jaimie,
I laughed at your conversation here - thanks for being entertaining! So he you talk about perfect book, I wonder what that means? Technically perfect or most entertaining, or what? For me, though I read a lot of science fiction, my wife (who is an English major and edits my books) turned me on to Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Specifically, One Hundred Years of Solitude is an amazing story with vivid descriptions (which I absolutely love). So from a literature perspective, I'd say that's a great one.
From my first love, Science Fiction, my favorite has been Never Let Me Go. It's an altered history present-day where cloning is used for body parts to replace people's organs. I'd normally expect something like that to involve a fair amount of graphic violence, but this book by Kazuo Ishiguro isn't like that. It's character-driven and the characters are believable and human. This novel inspired me to write Models and Citizens about clones instead of taking other potential paths.

Hi. My name is Simon Walter and I have just written and self published my first book: Gen - Z Kickstart your future. To be honest, I did not set out to write a book. One day I was having coffee with a good friend of mine who does a lot of work in schools with young people and our conversation turned to the topic of young people as it often does (I have 2 teenagers myself whose final exams got cancelled due to the pandemic)
Over coffee I was telling my friend how the pressure our young people are under today is immense and that in my opinion the rise in mental issues in young people is directly linked to that pressure. I made a point that this pressure could be managed with just a few simple life hacks and tips that I had learned in the banking world. (I spent 25 years working for one of Europes major investment banks)
My friend asked me if I would put a presentation together and then we could take it in to schools and talk to the students. So I started to write down some notes but once I started I could not stop and what should have been a lovely power point presentation morphed in to something that resembled a book.
Just when I had almost finished my manuscript Covid 19 came along. Well that just took my manuscript, threw it up in the air and it came down a little bit differently. Covid 19 has interrupted many young peoples education and in some cases closed an era of life very quickly and abruptly which has left many young people nervous, unsure and forgotten about.
Anyway, enough of my waffle. If I say anymore it wont be worth reading the book!

apocalypse.
So, many times, my wife told me to stop just imagining the stories I come up with and actually start writing them down. So one day, I finally listened and dove in!
And I've created an entire world in my head.
A world where October 30, 2015 is a day of historical events, that's the day the world ended and the zombie apocalypse began. Everyone was there, everyone was forced to experience it. You, me, my characters and those around us...and it was just as intense as it sounds.
My name's Christopher Gonzalez, I'm the husband of an awesome wife. I'm the dad of two crazy kids that get their craziness from me.
I'm the author of "Condition" and an aspiring screenwriter for VR films; don't worry I'm an author first and I'm committed to my books! I'm a metalhead, a nerd and a zombie enthusiast. I hope you enjoy my stories as much as I do, I've got a lot of them!
