Hello,My name is Rose and I am an author and lifelong reader. I just published a book on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited. I am very excited about joining the group and connecting with fellow authors.
Hello AllWelcome and good luck with your publishing endeavors. The books you've writen sound fascinating. I hope you all find your audience. So many books, so little time. Working on my second novel. I published my first Secrets and Silence August 29, 2020. The journey is worth it, don't you think? So impressed to be published and to read about all you who are publishing. They say all we have to do is build our catalogue and find a following. What could be hard about that?
Hi! I'm Aayusha. I'm 17 and I'm an avid reader. I want to become a writer in the future because I think it's such an amazing profession. I love reading most genres but as of right now, classics are becoming the thing that I read most. Nice to meet you!
Hey gangJust published my first book, A Glass Half-Empty https://www.archwaypublishing.com/en/...
It was written entirely in Microsoft Crayon and edited with Crayola Markers, which I sniffed repeatedly.

My daughter's name is Georgia. One day we may come to the beautiful Caucasus to visit. I remember an old but beautiful movie called REPENTANCE - it was made by a Georgian director whose name was Abuladze...

Hi All,I’ve been a free lance writer, guidebook author, cartographer and publisher for five decades, and none of them have been my day job. Now that the day job is done, I’ve become a novelist. On His Own Terms was professionally edited and reviewed, then my IT background kicked in so I Beta tested it with friends.
I think it’s ready for the big show, but that’s not for me to say. I’m looking for feedback so I launched a Goodreads Giveaway to make the introduction easy.
Here’s the promo blurb.
Delone Taylor didn’t belong. Raised on welfare by a solo mother in small town Wisconsin, he rebelled against the labels, the charity and the assumptions. He didn’t fit in at the University, either, where he carefully shielded his past from friends and strangers alike. He didn’t know if he belonged anywhere- even in the shell he’d built around himself.
The bicycle was his escape. It didn’t judge or ask questions, but he couldn’t ride away from his past, including an ancient past that preceded civilization itself.
When a singular woman from a wealthy family pierces his shell, Delone is forced to confront the one thing he can control; how he navigates an immovable past in a fluid present.
Bikes, glaciers, the Vietnam War, and the Driftless Area of Wisconsin come together in a coming-of-age tale that explores the relationship between forces beyond our control and our reactions to them.

Hello! I am an author committed to writing clean books for grades 4-8 (but high-schoolers and adults enjoy too!) As a former educator in a small town in North Carolina, I write what I know-and I know kids! My books, Ribbon on the Willow (2020) and A Ripple in Maggie Pond (2019) are stories of kids growing up in small, southern towns and chronicle their antics and adventures! -Jody Cleven

It is great that you are turning your attention to classics.
They have incredible value and timeless quality.
I read Dickens often - it is standard of excellence...
Hey Group. I'm Scott Alderman and I published my first book this past February (just in time for the pandemic).GET OFF: The Sordid Youth and Unlikely Survival of a Queer Junkie Wonder Boy
Set against a backdrop of New York City in the grungy, glittering 1980s, "Get Off" is a memoir about desperate living, hidden promise, double lives, and the danger of getting too much too soon.
I'm working on my next book, "Caravan of Pain: The True Story of the First, Last, and Only Tattoo the Earth Tour."
Brace yourself for a roller coaster metal thrill ride as you join the Tattoo the Earth 2000 tour of America, the most insane tour ever inflicted on a continent.

I write non-fiction, four books, as Chris, and this month released my first novel, Overnight Delivery: A Hank Anderson Thriller in my pen name, Raymond Parish, on Amazon. As a reader, my love for mysteries and thrillers dates back to Chandler, Hammett, Conan Doyle, and MacDonald. My current favorite in the genre is the mystery/fantasy of Ben Aaronovitch.

Hi Everyone! I'm new to Good Reads - finishing off my first memoir and have started listening to some really helpful podcasts about the business behind the writing which sounds like a lot of creative fun also! It was recommended to join goodreads and get involved in the community. And I'm so glad I have!! This is my new fav hang out spot. I had so much fun creating my shelves and leaving reviews for all my favourite books and what a journey to reflect on all the books that have impacted my life. I have no friends on my profile so feel free to add me and check out my bio about my new book that I'm planning to launch mid next year. Thanks for having me.
Miriam-What a great thing to do! I just released my second middle-grades book (but adult readers love it too)! It’s not in review stage any longer but hot off the presses! I’d love to know what you think of it if you stumble across it! Find it on a Good Reads. Ribbon on the Willow. -Jody

Hi, I'm Caroline and I have just joined Goodreads. I am a self published author. My first novel published on Amazon last month. I read extensively too. Currently working on my second novel.
Hello,My name is Annais, a lost soul of the world. Sometimes I want to just read, other times my words torment me to be put down on paper. Sometimes I feel stuck between heaven and hell, other times I fall down the Seventh sky. Happy to be here among like minded people ^^
Hello all, my name is Stephen DesBrisay, and thank you for welcoming me to the wild world of wonderful writers and readers. My story's a little different. Actually, I don't mean my story that I wrote is a little different, I mean the story behind the story that I wrote...I've been in the entertainment business for over 20 years. A couple of years ago I wrote a treatment that my colleagues thought would make a great movie. The next logical step would have been to have my treatment written into script form and then pitch the script to producers, but I was advised not to in this case. They also advised me to write a book for two reasons. One to protect the story and two it would be easier to adapt a book than to be locked into a script which would only be one way to tell the story. I thought, writing a book would be a daunting task. Who in their right mind would want to write a book? I thought that I would hate it, but I fell in love with it in secret.
The book has been sent out to certain celebrities and producers and so far, the feedback has been great. It may not be the most well-written book but they like the story and can see it as a movie. We will be responding to production companies after the first of the year.
If you would like to take it for a spin check it out on Amazon at 'THE PRINCESS Guardian of the Secret' https://amzn.to/3731i5X It's an easy read, a little over 200 pages. It's my first book so be kind; I would appreciate any thoughts you had in mind.

Hi! I'm Chuck and I'm a writer. I've been writing for years, but only worked up the courage to publish this year. I've decided to self-publish because I work better against a deadline, and it really helps me to focus on getting my work completed - otherwise I just write a bunch of stories and books that never see the light of day. My first full-length novel was a fantasy novel, but that falls into the category of things I will never publish (it's awful).
I don't just write though! I also play guitar and write computer code for a living. Some day I hope to transition to full-time writing, but I really don't know if that's feasible. Regardless, I'm publishing (woohoo!) my first novel 1/29/2021 - Models and Citizens.
If you're an author and would like to connect, please feel free to message me! Glad to chat about ideas and/or strategies!

Hello everyone,My name is Andrei Saygo, and I like to read and write fantasy stories. I fill the blank pages with my dreams after my daughter thinks she had played enough (only after she goes to sleep).
My first book just saw the light of print, and I'm working now on two more. One is book two from the DC Coven series, and the second will be part of a new series about time travel in classical antiquity.
