Hi, I'm Casi McLean, a Goodreads author and reader. I just have a bit of trouble navigating the Goodreads site, so I hope getting involved in this group helps me.My newest release, Beneath The Lake, is a time-travel suspense published by The Wild Rose Press. I love time travel, great stories with a twist endings, suspense and romance, and I write primarily in those genres. Please stop by and introduce yourselves to me on my author page and help me in this group to draw out of my introvert nature. :-)
Shizzle, IncHi, I'm new to this site as a user and an author, although I've used it for years to browse reviews. I have recently made a leap to register, because of the recent release of my humor novel Shizzle, Inc. I'm hoping to connect with readers that like humor and action, and probably chicklit. My heroine, Isa Maxwell is an average busty blond, a recent graduate of a community college, and rap-loving, gun-toting, self-proclaimed badass. More than anything else, Isa wants to be discovered, so that she can solve her financial woes and win back Brad, the love of her life.
The novel is very fast-paced, a bit over the top, but (according to reviews), very funny. I am currently answering questions from readers - please stop by and ask anything!

Carol, you're not ONLY a reader. You're the most valued creature on Goodreads - a reader! Without book lovers, this whole Goodreads site would disappear :-)
I hope you have a wonderful evening (and that you squeeze in lots of reading time)

Hello, I'm very glad to have found this group of fellow writers!I have just self-published my first short story, Elah's Pearl. (I also designed its cover, hand formatted it into mobi and epub, and uploaded it-all of which took longer than writing the story!)
I'm a graphic designer by trade, and writer at heart.
My debut novel, The Feather and the Moon Well, has just finished being edited by NYT best selling fantasy and sci-fi author, Dave Farland. It's going through a final proof read right now, and then will be submitted for consideration to WordFire press. If it is accepted I will be the first author in Dave Farland's Discovery Program for new writers. So if you would say a little prayer for me, I would be most appreciative!
I also do consulting on self-publishing and love discussing what has worked for others in the marketing arena. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Hello. I'm getting back into writing after several years off. Before I took a break, I had just completed a YA novel with plans to write the sequel. Now I'm considering making it all one longer book. I'm looking for another YA writer who is interested in working together - sharing and critiquing each other's work as we write, chapter by chapter. I'm currently writing at a slow rate of about 1 chapter per week or two. So I need someone who will be as laid back and chill as I am when it comes to writing. :-)
I can get you some samples of what I've written to see if we're a good match. Just let me know you're interested.
Hi Everyone,My name is Donna. I am a reader. I love to read all kinds of books. My favorite are mystery, fiction, suspense and thrillers. My kids are grown so after work I like to relax with a good book and my cat.
Hi everyone,Glad to be here--it looks like a fun group:) I'm an author who lives in Bear Lake, Michigan with my wife, daughter, forty cats, and thirty horses. (Okay, so there are actually ten times less pets than that, but most days it feels like more.) My latest novel, The Red Wraith, is a historical fantasy set in Early America. The protagonist is a Native American who becomes the focus for magic’s reentry into the world.
You can check out my other stories at www.nickwisseman.com.
Thanks!

Hi everyone. I'm Dara. I write fiction with Caribbean flavour and a dash of humour. I just looked at my Kindle yesterday and realized that I also love to read business books though. Hmmm... What that means, I dunno. It is sooo good to have found this community of writers and readers on goodreads!
Hello! Gray Matter is my first book, published via KDP in August, 2015. My name is Brad Gruner and I live and write in Las Vegas, NV. As I try to figure out how to pluck the marketing pebble from the Master's hand, I hope to glean some wisdom from this group.
Hi. I'm Jimmie. I'm a writer with a graphic art addiction whose only hobby is finding new and more creative ways to theme my cell phone. As a related/combined hobby, I also edit, design, and personalize my own cell phone icons.
I have over 50,000 icon files on my hard drive. If I ever run out of story ideas, maybe I'll open a theme shop on the android play store.
I write genre fiction, mostly fantasy romance, but I occasionally dabble in soft science fiction and science fantasy. My current series is Fate Lock. It's about... um...
[I tried to summarize in a sentence, and failed. Here's the first 4 sentences of my product description instead.]
In the center of Kylie's chest, right next to her heart, lives a shard of Prince Riss's soul...
Kylie and Prince Riss were born to fulfill a prophecy. They are destined to marry, unite the two ruling families of Undria, and restore the magic that protects the Kingdom... There's just one small problem. They hate each other.
Volumes 1 & 2 are available for free on Amazon today. 9/26/15
It's a cross-genre hodgepodge worthy of Dr. Frankenstein himself. It's an epic fantasy romance with elements of mystery, adventure, and suspense, then topped off with the flavor and pacing of an urban fantasy.
Too funny. I just realized that I approach my two favorite pastimes in the exact way. With both my graphic art and my writing, I strive to seamlessly combine disparate elements to create a finished product that is more aesthetically pleasing (to me:) than its components. Whether I succeed or not is usually a coin toss.
I also like cats, caffeine, and scrambled eggs.
Hi! I'm Miquel Reina. I'm from Barcelona and I love reading and writing! So this group to be a good place to share with all of you my passion about literature! ;DMy favourite genres are fiction, specially Fantasy and more specially the books where reality and fantasy melt without you can't notice the limits. My favourite book is "one houndred years of solitude" from Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I admit that is not an easy book to read but Garcia Marquez way of telling stories is something that hipnotizes me. Im a great fan of stories where reality and fanstasy melts without even notice it.
Currently Im finishing the editing of my first novel! Hope I can share it with all of you very soon!
Well I can't think anythink more to say. Nice to meet you all!
Hi, Everyone. My name is Frank and I'm a photographer located in NYC on the Upper West Side. I've self-published three novels so far but above all am a voracious reader. I was an English lit major in college and especially enjoy reading fiction. Also, since I live within walking distance of both Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, I'm always going out to hear classical music and opera. Feel free to check out my Author's Page here and to contact me if there's anything else you want to know. Thanks.
