Thank you V. W., you're very kind.
I'm Randall Chadwick and I just authored what some are calling...well, what I am calling...perhaps the funniest book of 2015, "Dangerous Toys & Naughty Boys: Observations on Uranus and Other Crap". As the title indicates, this is a mature discourse on the existential ennui that is the human existence. That and poopie jokes. Right now, 8.22.15, I'm having a giveaway of 10 signed volumes. There's about 6 hours left! Free stuff! I'm posting my book in the humor section per group instructions.
Hi, I'm Randall Chadwick and I'm a burgeoning stand-up comedian and author of the (presumably) hilarious Dangerous Toys & Naughty Boys: Observations On Uranus and Other Crap. I have a Facebook page, randall.chadwick.92 and a blog here on Goodreads. I'm also a voracious reader and studied behavioral economics in grad school so I love books on math-n-stuff.Please! Drink my Kool-Aid! Adopt my philosophies!
I will gladly dip my toe in the group. I am a brand new author. I, with the help of my talented friends, have published my first book. This group seems like a good first step in introducing myself to the goodreads readers and writers. I hope to learn a lot from all of you.

Hello, my name is Diana and I am a fiction/fantasy author. My books are Endurance (about a drunk driving accident), Rescuing the Titanic (free!), and The Unwanted (about animal shelter cats). I am really happy to be a part of goodreads! I hope to make some friends on here, as I always love making new friends! That's all. Bye!
Hi, I'm Hermione. I'm currently a sophomore in college. I've loved reading all my life and last December I published my first novel and my second one came out in May. I've been a goodreads member for a while now but this is the first time I have joined a club. I'm still figuring out how it all works.
Carolyn Haven is dancing to the beat of her own drum in Houston, Texas where she spends her days dreaming up new story ideas, doing research, keeping her cat from adding her two cents on the keyboard, and trying to convince her husband she’s not a goddess, only demi (which isn’t hard when she forgets to fix his lunch or do the laundry or... yah, that list is way too long).Feel free to contact Carolyn on the web; she loves to hear from readers. You can also follow Carolyn Haven on Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, Goodreads, and find the latest updates on her work and more at http://CarolynHaven.webs.com

Hey all, I've been on Goodreads as a reader for a lot of years, but this is my first time interacting as an author (!) Any tips are appreciated. HIDING is YA contemporary fiction. It is influenced by Christian spirituality, and has horror elements.
Hello,I am Stjepan Varesevac Cobets, I love to read science fiction and fantasy, but also books of all genres. For a long time I do write, but only recently released in English, my collection of poetry and science fiction novel. I'm glad I found a group that brings together fans of reading and writing.

Welcome Reader,
Happy to meet you here.
Happy Reading,
Carolyn Haven, author
Hey Everyone,My Name is Nabeel and I am new to this site. I just started on another draft of my YA fantasy novel series and through some good insight from close friends, heard about goodreads. This site so far seems amazing and I am glad I finally got an opportunity to join and get to know some cool people with similar interests.
I am also working on a collection of poetry and short stories that are loosely based off of characters from the same fictional world as the novel series I am currently working on so if you feel that might be something you are interested in you should totally check out my page. I could use all the criticism and feedback and it would definitely be awesome to make new friends who are likeminded.
Well its great to be a part of this group and I can't wait to get to know more of you a little better.
Cheers from the T.Dot

P.S. I am a huge supporter of indie authors, and would love to be of help for those looking for reviews for their work. I'm a fan of fantasy and paranormal fiction. If you have a book you'd like me to read, message me and I'd love to pay it forward by providing a review :)
Hi Samantha and welcome!I seem to have some trouble messaging you. I am a fantasy author with two short books out which I wonder if you'd consider reviewing. The second book (the one I really need reviews for) is free right now on Story Cartel. The title is Guardian of the Gauntlet, Book II. You can find out more about it here: https://storycartel.com/genres/fantasy.
Hope you'll consider it.

My first Harlequin historical, No Conventional Miss, is being released Oct. 1, 2015. I am excited about this. Indeed getting published is a bit of an odyssey. I would love to connect with readers and other writers. I am an introvert living in an isolated community. Eleanor is a pseudonym as I am published in another, more ' serious' genre. Hence this whole promotional thing is proving difficult. I'd love any tips, friend requests, discussions, questions!
Any writers- I would be happy to review your work and I invite any reviews or comments on my book!
Great to meet you all!

Sure! I will go and download book II. Is it a story I can easily pick up in the second book?
Actually,no. I'd be glad to email you the first one, if you could message me your email address. The first one is short, but not as short as the second. If you just pick up the second, know that Camari and Isryk are friends and met in the first book.
Hello everyone. My name is Sacha and I was bitten by the writing bug a few years ago. My favorite genre is sci fi, but thrillers, and horror are near the top too. I'll pretty much read anything if it catches my attention.I joined Goodreads a couple of years ago after writing a series of novelettes which are no longer available because they were, well they were crap. I was so gung ho I just put them out there. Live and learn.
I do have a novel out now with the second installment planned for the first of the year.
Just thought I'd say hello.
Sacha
Hello Everyone! I am David (publishing as Royce Sears)I'm a long time Sci-Fi/Fantasy reader and obviously new to the group. I am also a newly published Sci-Fi/Fantasy author. I tend to enjoy many of the classics more than anything (i.e. Heinlein, Asimov, Clark, Bradbury, Wells, McCaffery, Sagan, etc.) but I also have a penchant for things like Star Trek, Star Wars, and most of the old TSR books (now WOTC--i.e. DragonLance, Forgotten Realms etc.) I look forward to getting to know everyone here and exchanging ideas.
Hi All... I am Catherine Herzog author of 'The Key to Her Heart'. It is the first in 'The Heart of a Family' series. I am working on the second in the series 'Patrick's Rose'. The 'Key to Her Heart' is about a woman-- Anna, who within a world of glamour, is living within a world of threat and violence. As she tries to escape, the threat grows... Is there any way to survive?'The Key to Her Heart' is available on Amazon & Smashwords & I am working on more venues.
I began writing as a young teen trying to make sense of the turbulent life that was going on around me. Originally I was journaling, but I didn't want anyone who might find my writing to know it was about me. Soooo, I decided to fictionalize my entries. Ultimately that turned into 'The Key to Her Heart' and thirty years later my adult daughters convinced me it was time to publish. So here we are on this very interesting journey!
Thank You. I've actually been on here for awhile, but just am taking the time --finally to learn about how to use Goodreads.
