Hello. My name is Susan Donovan, and I write women's fiction and romance. I have about twenty novels listed on Goodreads, and I'm entering a particularly prolific time of my writing life -- because my kids are grown! I look forward to meeting many new writers and readers here. Happy Spring to everyone.
I've been immersed in the world of books for more than thirty years. Started as an editor for a few different publishing houses in NYC, and then struck out on my own as a freelance editor twelve years ago. I also teach writing classes for adults. And for those more than thirty years, I have written books. I've had several romance novels published, one young adult novel, and recently published two e-books: Lost Mothers and Every New Beginning.I look forward to connecting with more writers and readers here, and am always looking for good book recommendations.

Hello all, you'll find me in the site as Tanya Jones (legal name is Tanya Thibodeau). I'm a new author and my debut novel is Dreams of Beautiful Whisper a YA Fantasy. I'm also the founder of Morgan Books & ePublishing. I'm looking forward to becoming a part of this community, seems like there's lots going on! :) Please feel free to check out my profile (a work in progress) - friend requests are welcome. https://www.goodreads.com/tanyajonesauthor
Hi all!My name is Avery, and I recently released my first book, "Smart Money Blueprint: How to Stop Living Paycheck to Paycheck (A proven path to money mastery in only 15 minutes a week!)"
I was nervous as all heck to release it - I tried my best to make it genuinely useful, but you know how it is, you never know how perfect strangers will react to your work, right? Anyhow, so far, so good on that count...
I've always loved to read - when my dad would take me to the public library as a kid, I'd literally take out 20-30 books at a time, and blow through them all in 3 weeks, maybe 6 at most if I was taking a break from reading. I read mostly fiction, I like the escape I get from it. :)
Anyhow, it's a pleasure to meet you all :)
Hello Folks:I ave written some books (novellas really) that I hope some of you will take the trouble to read and rate.
My profile along with the list of my books can be found at https://www.smashwords.com/profile/vi...
Happy Reading everyone and hope to hear from some of you.
Greetings fellow fans of science fiction, fantasy, and horror!I'm a sometimes writer of speculative fiction. Some of my stories have been previously published and you might recognize them. Other are brand new and have never been seen anywhere.
"Troder" was a winner in the Writers of the future contest way back in 1997; the story appeared in volume 13 of the series.
"Dead Bird" was the 1999 Chiaroscuro Story Contest Winner.
Other stories of mine have appeared in Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine, Vampire Dan's Story Emporium, Neverworlds Online, Flesh and Blood, and the anthologies Sages & Swords, Lords of Swords, and A High Shrill Thump: War Stories.
Back in the late 90s I edited and published Maelstrom SF, a semi-professional speculative fiction magazine. I put out 8 issues over 2 years. You can even find some of the back issues floating around Amazon!
I also run SFReader.com, one of the Internet's oldest speculative fiction book review sites. SFReader has been online since 2001. We're publishing monthly fiction starting in 2015 and still running our annual SFReader Short Story Contest. Check it out!

Hi! I'm Carol. I am just in the beginning stages of research. I'm writing a historical biography about a woman, set in the 19th century.
Howdy pawdner all the way from Texas! Or I could also say hola! Being multicultural and multiracial is what my book "Gianna the Great" is all about. As a ten year veteran of genealogy and a twenty year veteran of teaching I've learned how important it is to believe in yourself. Being a writer has engrained that into my soul. I'm glad to be a part of this group! WRITE ON!
Hello everyone. I am a mother of two. About to become a grandmother in another month. I have three dogs and a cat and I just love to read and do reviews and sometimes I write. I am in no way brave enough to show ny stuff yet, lol. And I love to read books from new authors.
Hi! Newbie here :) I just published for the first time and it feels amazing. I'm looking forward to connecting with other authors and readers from all walks of life.
Hello there.. Warm Regards from India!I'm avid knowledge seeker. I love to read books and broaden my perspective. I strongly believe that books can take us to the land where we never thought of going.
I'm currently an MBA student and I want to explore the world and learn from everything. So reading books is the first step towards my goal.
Looking forward to connect with all the authors and readers over here. Would be glad to hang out with y'all!

What brave words, from a few people in this thread. You could so easily be submerged in requests from authors. Thrilled if anyone wants to read any of mine. :)

Hello everyone. This is a great idea Vincent! Thank you for providing this forum.
My name is James D. A. Terry, I'm sixty-six, retired from thirty years in the world of international financial advice. I focused my first book on the very best advice I could offer and boiled it down to the perfect investment in thirty pages. How to achieve true wealth. Stop trading your time for someone else's dollars. Build a lifetime passive income stream.
I now follow the sun and explore with my wife in our land yacht.
I've completed and self published my first mystery novel, The Paladin and am currently working on the second book in the series. I can't believe I didn't start writing years ago.
I look forward to meeting all of you through this forum and other social media.

Thank you Lenita. I have bookmarked your website and will definitely check out Guardian of the Gauntlet.
My Paladin series also has a scriptural component. I can't say any more because it will give away one of its many twists.
Blessings

Hello everyone! I am an avid reader and have enjoyed writing for many years... mostly angsty poems and short stories in my teens, and then, as a young adult, much journaling...
Now, as a much older adult, I'm taking the leap into penning a memoir, having started last year, attending writing classes to get the creative juices flowing. As of April, I've taken a sabbatical from work to tackle the project. I'm hoping to raise awareness for domestic violence, addiction, and mental illness. I'll be attempting to illustrate what it is like to grow up in an unsafe and unstable environment, and how it impacts one as an adult.
I'm excited to be a part of this network of readers and authors! I'm looking forward to meeting some great new friends and hoping to find inspiration and motivating energies along the way. I'll be posting excerpts from my story on Goodreads to solicit advice as I go along.
I'll also be blogging my journey on my website if anyone is interested in following: www.mattrydeen.com

Yes, I did. It sounds interesting. Remember my book's titled Guardian of the Gauntlet. It can be easily confused with other books titled The Gauntlet. I wanted to put your book on my "to-read" list, but I couldn't find it on Goodreads.

Sorry Lenita it was Guardian of the Gauntlet that I picked up.
The Paladin is at: https://www.goodreads.com/search?utf8...
For some unknown reason GoodReads has it listed under: The Paladin James Terry when you do a search.
