Hello Everyone, I'm a Science Fiction author. I have published one novelette through small press and two novellas are self-published, with three novels in the hands of my agent looking to take the traditional publishing route. In the meantime, I continue to write and attend SciFi conferences locally and beyond. www.tlsmithbooks.com
Hi there!I'm Dan McClure and I write a fantasy series called The Adventures of Grant Scotland that blends noir detective mystery with thrilling espionage action set in a world slipping quickly into an age of darkness.
Hello all, I'm Larry Matthews. I'm an author and retired broadcast journalist. My 9th book is just out. It's called Detonator and is the 3rd in the Dave Haggard thriller series. He's a broadcast investigative reporter (write what you know) in Washington, D.C. The stories he digs up nearly kill him, of course, as is the case with thrillers. Detonator is about a plot to blow up Nationals Park during a sold-out game. Of the nine books I have published, seven are fiction. I look forward to getting to know all of you.
Terry wrote: "Hello Everyone, I'm a Science Fiction author. I like Heinlein and McCaffrey, too. What are the titles of your books?

Hello everyone. I am WllM Worth, an author, avid reader and book collector. I just published my first novel that I had researched and rewritten for several years. I feel like I sent one of my kids off to college but you have to send them out into the world sometime, right?
Hi! I'm Elle. Nice to meet all of you. I look forward to interacting with this group. I'm the author of, Frozen, and The Chronicles of Amber Harris Series Last Teardrop, both YA books. I love to read, of course, but I'm a lover of most genres. If you have a chance, feel free to stop by my blog, there's always some random thing running through my mind that I'm willing to share on there. http://www.reflectionsfromelle.blogsp...
Talk to you all soon!

Hi, I'm Patricia (P.D. Sanders). I am U.S. born, but have lived my whole adult life in Latin America, and currently live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I just published my first ebook on Amazon, Brimspell, the first in a trilogy dealing with sailing, world history, etc. Here is the description from the Amazon: "A shipwreck. A mermaid's kiss. A mysterious spell that enables the enchanted sea captain to hear and see events from the past, present, and future. Join the captain as he journeys around the world in order to break the effects of the Brimspell and discovers a whole new world..."Brimspell will be available for free download on Amazon until this Saturday, Nov, 8th. I would greatly appreciate honest reviews. Thanking everybody for their support, and Vincent for this blog! Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/Brimspell-P-D-S...
Welcome to the group, WllM, Alentine, Elle, Patricia, and anyone else new that I haven't said it to!
Hello all, I am Kim. I am an avid reader, as well as I just self-published my first novella, Smokes.
I am a jack of trades I suppose. As a SAHM, I wrangle three little monkey's until they have beaten me down into submission, at least for the day. When I'm not doing that, and more often while I am attempting to navigate the parenting realm, I am reading, writing, knitting, sewing, cooking, eating, oh lord am I eating, and drinking cheap wine.
I look forward to connecting with other authors as well as fellow readers.
Hi Victoria! Hi all! :)I'm new to this sort of thing, so I don't really understand what I'm supposed to do...if anything. Any suggestions?

Hi P,
I see that you like quality children's books. Dr. Seuss is great. Have you read The Velveteen Rabbit? That's a wonderful classic! There are groups you can join of readers with similar interests. My book, The Dragon Dreamer, is a young adult science fantasy that might interest you. Here's a link so you can see it: http://www.amazon.com/Dragon-Dreamer-...

Hi, my name is Gina Ardente and I am a newly published author of Discovering QLO. I am excited to be part of this group. My book is the first in the QLO series of passion romance. I am pioneering a movement in the romance world- Passion Romance instead of Erotic Romance. Passion Romance is all about men embracing, empowering and elevating the women they love. Love making should be wonderful and enjoyable by both partners. Discovering QLO is for 18+ audiences as it has adult sexual content, but is told in a tasteful, sensual fashion without profanity, vulgarness or any demeaning, demoralizing or devaluing of the woman.
My mission is start a change in romance writing to give a positive image for women to emulate and for men to desire.

Hello Vincent,I am Laura Meyerovich, an omnivorous reader and a writer. My translation of Alexey Krylov's memoir is available on Amazon. He was a fascinating man (check his Wikipedia page) and a great storyteller.

Welcome to the group!
My best suggestion is to look around (especially in the children's books section, since you like those sorts of books so much) and maybe click on some of our pictures to find out who everyone is, and to see what kinds of books those of us who are authors have written.
Marilyn wrote: "Is it possible to post the most recent comments in the beginning of the log? The top ones were posted 5 years ago."No, it isn't. To find the most recent comments, you have to go to the page with the highest number in the thread. That's how it works on all Goodreads groups to my knowledge.
