It's not easy but I realized one day, if I kept waiting until I had time to write, I would never do it, so I just had to find the time. Definitely helps to have a supportive husband!

Hi my name is Gabriella Gillespie and im a new Author of my Biography A Fathers Betrayal. Ive not long joined this site and I have no clue yet about what im doing.
Welcome I.D., Tyrean, Brittain, and Gabriella. Gabriella, I'm sure you'll get acquainted with this site soon. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Hey guys, thanks for having me.My name's Diego Valenzuela, I'm a Mexican born-and-raised author, and I've been writing since I was twelve years old. All in English, believe it or not. It's just the kind of thing that happened (and I've gotten a lot of flack for it, if you can believe it).
I also wanted to add that my debut novel "The Armor of God", was released today. It's set in a post apocalyptic world, devastated by an alien virus that has sent humankind to the brink of extinction. The only hope left are the Creux, secret suits of armor which can battle the virus on a microscopic level. It's gotten some very good early reviews. Here's the GR link if you're interested: http://bit.ly/1xAffxA
Hope to see you around the threads.
Tyrean wrote: "Hi! I'm Tyrean Martinson, a writer and reader from the Pacific Northwest - within a mile or so of Puget Sound. I write and read poetry, fantasy, adventure, YA, scifi, with a tiny bit of contemporar..."Hi Tyrean,
I live in the Pacific Northwest, as well, Whidbey Island, in fact. Your book sure sounds interesting. I'm looking forward to reading it. I am a Christian fantasy writer, too.
Hi everyone, I am new to the group and can't wait to see what is going on. My most recent book, Awakening came out in September through Lycaon Press, and I am excited about it. I hope to be able to join in on some great discussions. Thanks!
Scott

Hello everyone. My name is Ricardo, but I prefer Rick. I am 31 years old and I have always enjoyed reading and writing for as long as I can remember. I just recently published my first book on Amazon: Story Untold: A New World which is the beginning of a new series that I think is going to be great. I'm looking forward to making some new friends, getting some exposure, and hopefully getting some constructive feedback on my work.

Hey all, I'm Chris, and while I'm a fan of horror and dark fantasy primarily, I enjoy most escapist genres, mythology, and select (mainly historical) non-fiction. I'm drawn to dark material, both as a reader and writer... but I don't spend my time lurking in shadows or anything ;)I know very few people on this site, but I hope to change that!

Hi Brianne! Sounds interesting. Thanks for doing this!
Hi J.S Thanks for thinking it sounds interesting! Please check it out! I am looking for readers and authors a like!
I joined some time ago but don't think I introduced myself until now. I write under the pen name of Orrin Jason Bradford though my real name is Brad Swift. Not sure why my GR account appears as Orrin.I became an avid reader of fantasy and science fiction as an eleven-year-old boy when my next-door neighbor, who was a children's librarian, took pity on my single-parent mom. Bored out of my gourd with no one to play with but good 'ol mom, I drove her crazy until Mrs. Crabtree brought home a stack of books she knew would hook a young boy and give my mom some relief. It worked. I've been hooked ever since.
Becoming a successful author of visionary fiction and non-fiction is my third and probably last career, what I'm calling my Encore Performance. First one was as a small animal vet, and second was/is as a Life On Purpose Coach which resulted in my writing Life On Purpose: Six Passages to an Inspired Life. It was an award winning finalist in the Self-Help: Motivational division of the Best Books 2007 Awards sponsored by USA News.
I sold my veterinary practice in the late 80's to pursue a career as a freelance writer and life coach, all the while maintaining my love for SF and Fantasy, reading, writing, and reviewing. Great to be a part of this GR group. I'll probably be hanging out mostly in the SF and fantasy areas (and thriller area since I've written two SF Thrillers) but love that there's a group that covers so many different genres.
Orrin wrote: "I joined some time ago but don't think I introduced myself until now. I write under the pen name of Orrin Jason Bradford though my real name is Brad Swift. I love and write SF also, but more on the adventure side.

Hi, I'm Phil. Let me introduce my book:TRUE MISSION WITH A PHILOZ-ophic FLOW
What if an accident changes your life?
How to begin new?
A mission with passion and enthusiasm quickly turned into disappointment at the end….
....the fear, the hope to begin something new, the passion and a mission with willing to help but on the other side the windmill fight against the bureaucracy. It is an eye-opening story that shows the many flaws in the health care system and a man who has been left alone by the “supporting” company.
A true story based book.
