My greetings to all the members.I have authored a historical romance novel "Wings of Freedom", depicting a cross cultural romance during British India of the early twentieth century. The kindle edition of the book is available on amazon.com.
However, the print edition is getting published and and it is expected to be in the market by Sept 30.
Hi Everyone, I'm Pete and I have 2 novels currently available on kindle (will be on Nook and in print shortly). I've been writing for years but this is my first foray into Goodreads. Like Lynn, I am a little shy about self-promotion. I write fiction, poetry, and screenplays. I am seeking out friends, readers, and comrades. I look forward to meeting people here and sharing experiences.

Hello Readers and Authors,My name is D.P McHenry, and I am the author of the romance novels A Place Within Her and Never In My Life. I write about the places I know and love. My first book, Never In My Life, is semi-autobiographical. I was the woman in the bad relationship who wrote the book about the man she wanted. Guess what? He showed up. And we've been married since 2001. I am also a blogger; my website is home to my rants on food, life, love and travel. Oh, and books.
I'd love to offer free copies to anyone who would care to write a review.

Hi, my name is Anna, and I'm an avid reader, and a writer working on final content edits for my first novel which I plan to self-publish, since I've already gotten my poor book rejected once by a publisher. I'd like to eventually work with an actual publisher, but I'm starting out in self-publishing to see where it takes me. I've been on Goodreads for a while because I find it brilliant for keeping track of what I've read and for finding new things to read, but I'm only just starting to explore the groups aspect of it. I tend to lurk and read and forget to comment on online forums. I'm mostly used to how Ravelry works, and Goodreads has a different format to navigate that I'm still figuring out.

Hello to my fellow authors and to my future readers. My name is Carol Lane and I published to Kindle three new books this week. There is a children's book called Ordinary Annie. It deals with a young girl and her very first day at school. She feels as though she will just be ordinary but finds that she is indeed special. The second is a space story called Seekership: Humanity's Hope. This is set about the 27th century and is about ships from Earth that are searching for seed ships carrying frozen embryos that are needed to replenish a war devastated Earth. They think they are searching for lost ships. They do not realize that at least one of the ships had already been found and harvested. It is the first in a series.
The last is erotica. A Hot Dark Knight is a fast sexy read of an encounter on the beach that grabs your attention on the first page and hopefully satisfies an itch.
I know those are far apart from each other in venue and expression but I hope they will be met with approval and enjoyment. All are on kindle. Please feel free to comment. I do not have an author page, just one more thing to do. But you can email me at laneclane@yahoo.com or post comment on kindle for the books.
Hello I am a new author, mother, music lover and book nerd. I just published my debut novel Unbreak Me a new adult contemporary romance. I love to meet new people so don't hesitate to say hi.
I'm paranoid. I've spent the last week binge-watching Dexter on Netflix--pretty sure I'm being stalked by serial killers now... Was in Kroger yesterday and noticed this old lady following me down every aisle. Maybe she just had similar grocery needs as me, but maybe not. I finally faced my fear and confronted her on aisle 5 (yes, it was the cereal aisle; and yes, I see the irony). I asked what she wanted with me, and she just looked confused (nice try, old lady- but I'm on to you). She mumbled something about needing more fiber, and asked if I could help her reach the Fiber One on the top shelf. I did. And then I got out of there with my life. I'm home now, but I don't really feel safe. My name is Lance, and I will probably be the Granny Killer's next victim. Murdered by a granny; my humiliation knows no bounds...
Hello Lance, very entertaining introduction. I do hope you've located your meds and are little less anxious about your fate today :).
D.elliott wrote: "Hello Lance, very entertaining introduction. I do hope you've located your meds and are little less anxious about your fate today :)."thanks, D. My dog got into my meds (now he's wandering around spouting poetry about world peace). I've checked with the local old folks home-- all grannies are accounted for. Think I'm safe for now.
Thank you Elizabeth! I appreciate you visiting it!Deborah

Hi I'm John,I've just published my first book, Cunnilingus Mastery. It's a non fiction guide to becoming great at cunnilingus.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
I poured my heart into it so I'd really appreciate anyone reading and reviewing it.
I like to read a lot of non fiction, self improvement or skill building type stuff and a little history as well. To fall asleep though I need something to turn my brain off not get me wired, so I turn to fiction. I prefer novels that have a lot of dialogue and action, currently reading my way through the Jack Reacher books. I've tried quite hard to read literature but just find it to dull. Oh, and this may be sacrilegious to some of you but I often prefer listening to audiobooks than actually reading.

Lance if that's the side effect of your meds I think maybe they should be dumped into our water supply!
