Ben Starling (ben-starling) | 1 comments Hi, I'm Ben.

I'm new to GR and still just settling in. I love books and mysteries, sci-fi, thriller, contemporary fiction, classics, adventure, historical, great love stories - but read just about everything.

Glad to connect with everyone. Feel free to add me!

Garry Abbott | 8 comments Hello!

I'm Garry Abbott, from Staffordshire in the UK. I've just had my first collection of speculative fiction stories published called 'The Dimension Scales and Other Stories' with a little help from New York based literary agency 'Trident Media Group' - It's been a slog getting to this point and now I'm here I'm floundering in a world of marketing, trying to get people to even know it exists! (You can find it through my profile on this site I hope - or search on any major eBook retailer). But I never thought it was going to be easy, and am in it for the long haul, so just got to keep plugging away! Heard a lot of good things about Goodreads, and only just finding my feet on it with my author page.

Anyway - hope everyone else is enjoying their reading/writing experiences! If you like short stories, speculative fiction and twisted tales, I hope you will at least take a glance at my book! The Amazon page pretty much gives the first two stories for free as 'look inside' if you are interested.

Keep reading and writing!

Garry

Hello,I feel oddly self-conscious about this but I thought I'd pop in and say hello as I am a Goodreads Author and would love to hear from readers. Well, we're all readers aren't we? But you know what I mean.
Hope you're all having fun on your adventures and as I'm supposed to be working right now I should probably get back to mine. But feel free to distract me :p

Lynda (okalrelsrv) Does one ever completely get the knack of marketing, Aray? I don't know. I believe I do it best by just being myself as much as possible -- there may be more effective tactics used by others but I doubt I could pull them off.
