Jacob FitzRaymond | 9 comments Just ordered a copy of ISBN10: 0460103679 which is attached to the following page:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...

The page incorrectly has the title as "William" when the correct tile is "William, Count of Orange: Four Old French Epics"

It also incorrectly lists the author as Guillaume d'Orange when it should be "edited by Glanville Price, with an introduction by Lynette Muir Translated by Glanville Price, Lynette Muir and David Hoggan"

Finally, the description is completely wrong, it should be:

In fresh prose translations which fully convey the astonishing vitality of the original, this volume presents the four major adventures of William, Count of Orange-one of the most intriguing heroes of the medieval chansons de geste.
The four poems chosen here- The Crowning of Louis, The Waggon-Train, The Capture of Orange and The Song of William-take us in sequence through part of William's long and exciting career as intrepid champion of the Emperor Charlemagne and his son, the weak and vacillating Louis. Fiercely loyal, unforgettably, often comically quick-tempered, and invincible, he captures Nîmes and Orange (together with the beautiful queen, Orable) from the pagan kings and is thenceforth called upon incessantly to protect Christendom from the Saracens.
For all their legendary qualities, these poems are firmly set in central and southern France in the ninth century, and the heroes live and fight with rumbustious humour and almost Rabelaisian gusto against a background of cities we can still visit today.
