Initially this book kind of annoys me and I'm struggling to make progress with it. They seemed to gloss over this whole thing where the bees are coming back but well we were already doing human pollination so we will just keep on with it even though it's this horrific? What? I'm just struggling to care because it doesn't feel believable so far.

I wasn't too bothered by that. It is supposedly more effective so that just feels similar to our own current dystopia.

I just started the audiobook yesterday and I don't think I've ever read a book where all the POV characters are parents. I find that interesting. I am curious about Tao and George but I am finding William's POV very dull.
