Michelle (lifeasabooknerd) Good luck with that. So are you going to make a list as you finish or a list to finish? I did a list of books as I finished them this last year, but I may do it the opposite this year, to keep me focused on reading as many of the books I already own as possible. Otherwise, my eye latches onto too many new things.

Sonsoles Hi to all, I've just joined this group because my goal each year is to read about one book per week (that would be 50 books per year aprox) this 2009 I've read more than 75, so I've accomplished my goal!! I'm so happy, next year will be also reading about a book per week.

I plan to read A world without end by Ken Follet, already started.

I think my first book for 2010 is going to be Les Mis. "

that's a great plan, and on my opinion, a very good choice!!

B. (booksnobwannabe) I do not have a formal list/plan, but I am apart of 4 challenges (black classics, classics, thick books, and books made into movies) and I plan to read 4 books for each challenge. I also plan to read New York's bestseller for every month this year, 10 biographies, and 3-5 books off of Oprah's bookclub list. Lastly, i am interested in learning about our past presidents (starting with George Washington), so I may pick up a book on him. Since every time I make a list I do not complete, I feel that this is the next best thing to making sure I complete my 50 book challenge. Also I have TONS of books around the house that needs attention.

I also plan to write a review for each one I read on my blog:

Please feel free to comment and leave me book selections.

Michelle (lifeasabooknerd) I'm the moderator of the group Dark Fiction, and my books will probably be ones I can use for our 2nd Book Challenge. I am also involved in a local book club where I live, and whatever we pick I will obviously be reading as well. I'll be mixing in the stacks of books giving me leering looks from my reading shelves and hopefully try to get some of my OWN books read for a change. :) I like all of the challenge I find on here though, so I tend to get distracted.

I started "The Book Thief" yesterday and am already up to page 140. I was on a waiting list at my local library
and was thrilled that it came in.

I am very happy to be part of this group since I have the bad habit of starting books and not reading them in a timely fashion. This group will help me to keep my focus.

I am going to post my books as I finish them. I think Brettneka's idea of writing a review or comment as you read books will be a informative and helpful.
