Sure! I came across that book so many times but just didn’t pick it up. So it’ll be great to finally read with someone.
Hey guys. I don’t think I’ll be able to get the copy of the fourth wings. I’m having trouble placing an order.
is there like a library you can get it from? or maybe like a digital library? and we are waiting for a lot of people to get their copies so you’re good
The overdrive library doesn’t have the copy of that book. I’ll see if I can buy a physical copy at the nearest bookstore. Since you mentioned, yeas it’ll take some time.
I have a digital copy, so I'm go to go whenever we start. I've been reading the Q series so can take a break from it.
I am leaving on a trip for a while so that gives everyone time to get a copy if you don’t have it already and we will start on july 5th
Hey everyone just checking in, i’ve gotten to threshing and i’m in love with the world of this and all the different characters. lowkey kinda hate rain
I'm 37% in, and I want a dragon....or two. I did not expect to love this book this much. It has echoes of several series I have read, but clearly stands on its own. Rebecca Yarros is well known for her spicy adult/women's fiction, but I feel like Fourth Wing is targeting a different reader. Don't get me wrong, I love when the romance adds to the story. I don't want it to BE the story.
The books this sort of reminds me of are Dragonriders of Pern and even a little bit of Hunger Games with Dain being Peeta.

I wasn't sure how long it would take to get to the UK. I order from them often, and it's usually about a week using USPS.

it’s ok. we are probably going to finish this book up soon and then move on to a different genre
I'm at about 80%. The characters are now so well developed that I can picture them arguing. The truth is being shared a few bites at a time, and the overall atmosphere of the book has sharpened as the first years grow closer to graduation. There is ALOT going on in the book at this point.
Denise, I’m currently in Hong Kong but will be flying back to the UK next week. So will grab a copy from there.
Sophia: Alright then. What is our next reading going to be??? I’ve got to get a copy for the next book.
The ending of Fourth Wing reminds me of how Pierce Brown ends each book in Red Rising. A cliffhanger so you immediately look for the next book.
Cold-hearted and distant. Her children grew closer together because they didn't have a traditional relationship with their mother, and their father died early.
I have to admit, after I finished Fourth Wing, I read Iron Flame. It advanced the story in several new directions and was very good. The ending......WOW.....and there's still a third book with a fourth due out next year.
I love this series because like there is a lot of representation and characters that you can relate with no matter your situation
The pace is one of the things I love. I don't care for books that draggggggg. The characters act their age too. As the story gains tension, the characters, especially Violet and Xaden, have to become adults quickly or everyone dies. Sophia, did you pick Fourth Wing? I'm asking because it would be a book I'd read and review, then make all my friends read it too.
