Joyce Ross (KindnessisKey) | 5 comments WHY BLONDES MIGHT WANT TO RE-THINK USING A GREEN SCREEN. It made me laugh, so I`m sharing. Also, see if you can spot HOW NOT TO EDIT IN ADOBE PREMIERE ELEMENTS.

THE KINDNESS AMBASSADOR Vlog 1 - http://youtu.be/UgNOx6H4Ctc

To be fair to myself, it was my 1st attempt at using a green screen while videoing so I could put in the beach background while editing with the 'green key' in Adobe. The half- buried in the sand trick is a result of me relocating myself on the screen while editing in Adobe. The missing ends of my hair lets the beautiful ocean peek through and nicely negates my need for a haircut. LIVE, LEARN and LAUGH!

Elizabeth Cook-Howard (echoward) | 6 comments Hi Vincent,
Thank you for allowing me to join your group. I’m a novice author with two self published books under my Forever Beth Series – Forever Beth Lost and Found and Forever Beth Our Love. Romance writings with a hint of humor, suspense, murder and love. My first book Lost and found was met with a bit of scrutiny due to the 1st chapter. Many questioned – suggested that I should maybe tone it down or dismiss completely but I stuck to my guns and published what I believed in - felt when writing. Anyway I would love to have non family and friends view my work.

message 913: by Bob (new)

Bob Kat (goodreadscombobkat) | 1 comments Good Thursday all,

I'm Kathy Clark, a.k.a. Bob Kat and have had a total of 29 books published. 23 traditionally and the last 6 as an Indie Author. I have an adult suspense series, Denver AFter Dark, with two books completed the last one, CRIES IN THE NIGHT, releasing three days ago. I also have a Young Adult series, CUL8R [See you later] with three books released, OMG, BRB and BION. I also have a New Adult series, SCANDALS, with book one, BABY DADDY, releasing this year. I also released a New Adult Romance, LIFE'S WHAT HAPPENS last fall.

For those that know me as I've been an RWA National Board Member, a Mystery Writer of America member and a Sisters in Crime member you know that I've never wrote 7 books in 18 months. Truth is? My husband is my co-author for the New Adult and Young adult books. This has been a real treat.

We're just getting the Indie publishing business down and have just started to put a dent in the goodreads world. My profile, accomplishments and so on are very meagerly stated.

message 936: by Marta (new)

Marta Ellen | 1 comments My name is Marta. I'm new to Good Reads. Like to read escapist fiction and some self-help depending upon topic. Some with historical bent to it such as S King's 11-22-63 which was excellent. Has anyone read Barbara Delinsky's Sweet Salt Air?

Came out last year. Recently read Hemingway's Girl (good fiction but with historical element of literature) and reading a book called Letting Go: Maryland Shores.

Non-fiction reads -- started Slouching to Adulthood but it was a bit sarcastic. Read Steve Jobs biography which was great. Read Buzz: Yr of Paying Attention also. Let me know if anyone has read Barbara Delinsky.

message 937: by Tony (new)

Tony Henderson | 2 comments My web site http://www.tony-henderson.com has a couple of short stories under the Author page, one of which you can listen to as it was read out by an actor on the radio. A remarkably silly story called The Wall and rather different from my eBooks about Shanghai and Hong Kong. Sometimes I wonder if I should concentrate on these. No research and a lot quicker to write!
