London | 273 comments i dont hate twilight but the movie looks awful just like the last one was... kristen is no role model for girls ...

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 246 comments I don't hate Twilight. It's not my favorite, but I don't hate it. Edward and Bella really annoy me, but I absolutely love all of the minor characters. Edward's family is so cool.

I didn't find out until one of the people on the other boards told me :) I was so excited to see that. He did fantastic in Sweeney Todd, so I can't wait to see him in these two movies :D

message 154: by Devina (new)

Devina Bissumbhar (D_vin) they annoy you??
woah...didn't expect that...
haven't seen sweeney todd yet...heard it's funny :)
btw does anyone watch anime??

message 155: by Lauren (new)

Lauren Smith i hav anime studio 5 an noooo frickin clue how to use it... its fun though

message 156: by Carly (new)

Carly | 258 comments that was kinda random and i think that is funny that the movie has more then 1 HP actor in it

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 246 comments The only anime I've ever watched was Shoujo Cosette (sp?). It's an anime version of Les Miserables, based off of the book, not the musical. I'm generally not a fan of anime, but the Les-Mizzyness cancelled out the anime-y-ness.

message 158: by Dani (new)

Dani (nerdygal123) | 25 comments Ravenclaw

And does Pokemon count as anime?

message 159: by Carly (new)

Carly | 258 comments not really

message 160: by Dani (new)

Dani (nerdygal123) | 25 comments Yeah, I figured

Tetsu (Doki Doki ~♥) (chintotheexperiment) Actually it depends if you watch Japanese or English. Japanese is anime, where as english is just...what ever they call it. YAY! Pokemon! But I liked the video games and manga more.

message 162: by Devina (new)

Devina Bissumbhar (D_vin) hhahahahah :D
yeah...naruto is fun...maybe you should try watching..
uhm..they fight....train...and stuff...but its really funny...also..if you're going to watch..watch the japanese kind with english sub...bleach is fun 2 :P

message 163: by [deleted user] (new)

message 164: by Devina (new)

Devina Bissumbhar (D_vin) kinda funny :)

hhahahhahahaha :D

message 165: by Emily (new)

Emily Willis (thatssewcreative17) | 4 comments I would be in Ravenclaw I believe. Because, hear me out, I love to learn and I think is kind of nerdy fun to take notes and to learn.

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 246 comments Yay for Em and nerdy fun! Ravenclaw is one of the houses that I would want to be in, along with Hufflepuff.

I love learning, especially foreign languages. I hate it when people think it's weird. I get so many odd looks when people see me carrying around a German dictionary. :D

message 167: by Devina (new)

Devina Bissumbhar (D_vin) hhhhhhmmmmmmm......as a lazy person...i do have to say that when i read that tthe voice in my head went:" what??? woah!!!... cuckoo!"
:P but..sometimes i do really like studying too (not taking notes) so i think i can understand u..( i repeat .."i think.." :D

message 168: by Carly (new)

Carly | 258 comments i like learning new languages. I just am terrible at it(which is really sad because my mom is fluent)

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 246 comments I don't know how good I am at it. What languages are you learning? What languages does your mom know?

message 170: by Jenn (last edited Aug 02, 2009 05:51PM) (new)

Jenn (thebiracialbookdragon) | 42 comments I’d be in Hufflepuff. I think its unfortunate what some think of hufflepuff that it is for losers or is lame. I think it’s a direct result that it’s the house we see the least of in the books, we don’t even see their common room in the series though Jo describes it post DH. Harry also does not have any close hufflepuff friends least not while he was at school. What is wrong with valuing Loyalty, Hard Work, fair play and being tolerant? Those are not lame nor loser qualities. Tonks was in Hufflpuff and she certainly was no loser or lame and you cant be dunce to become an auror. Most students are going to have qualities from all the houses what house they get placed into often has to do with which of those qualities stand out the most.

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 246 comments Yay Healer! Another Hufflepuff fan!

You said that perfectly! I hate all of the stereotypes that develop around each of the houses, like all Gryffindors are heroes, all Slytherins are evil, all Ravenclaws are geniuses, and Hufflepuffs are anyone who doesn't fit into those stereotypes. It's so annoying!

message 172: by Devina (new)

Devina Bissumbhar (D_vin) uhuh...i agree :)

yeah...sweeney Todd does have alot of the same actors that are in HP...

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 246 comments I wonder if they're planning on casting any more Sweeney actors in Harry Potter...I'd say that Toby can play Teddy Lupin in the epilogue, Johanna could play the Grey Lady, Fogg can be a random Death Eater, and I haven't thought of anything for Pirelli or Sweeney...

im a fan of all the houses except slytherin
hufflepuff isnt bad at all
revenclaw specialize in clever and smartness ect. ect.
gryfindor brave couragous ect. ect.

message 176: by Carly (new)

Carly | 258 comments i think there is flexibility though it isn't set in stone

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 246 comments Slytherins aren't all bad, and the characteristics that are generally attributed to Slytherins aren't entirely bad, as long as they don't go overboard. Ambition, in moderation, can be a very good quality. An excess of any of the houses' qualities is harmful, not just Slytherin's, although Slytherins are the most common example that we see.

I also agree with Carly about there being flexibility in the qualities that each member of a house has. No one is going to be a perfect fit, and most people will have characteristics from all houses.

message 178: by Carly (new)

Carly | 258 comments yay for Rachel

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 246 comments Thank you, Carly. :)

Yay for you for bringing up the flexibility point first. :D *applause*

message 186: by Cassi (new)

Cassi (xcassi) I've been told that I'm a Hufflepuff and a Slytherin. I think I'd like to be in any house, really. Wherever I fit, but of the two I think I'm more like a Hufflepuff (hard worker, loyal, etc). :)
