Why is it called Fire and Ice?It doesn't have anything to do with in my opinion.I'd like to know why it is. Anyone have a clue??? please tell me why!

yeah...why IS it called fire and ice? I don't like books with tiles that don't make sense...warroirs rock!!!!!
Maybe because Fire can save the clan and that Ice is Tigerclaw because he wants to kill Bluestar
when you get to the end of this book it will explane everything about the title.
Yep it does i read it a long time ago so i don't remember a lot.
Jacobs right except for 1 thing. I wondered the same thing when I read it but while i was reading I relized that FIREHEART was the fire and tigerclaw was ice.
I still agree with Thunderstar after listening to this chat and I've read the books. Warriors rock.
The fire is the twolegs fire by where the WindClan cats went after they were driven out, and I think the ice means the snow.
I have an idea of why it is called Fire and Ice because fire and ice will fight and fire will save the clans which is Riverclan and Thunderclan(Fire), and Shadowclan and Windclan(Ice). And I think Ice is trying to take Thunder and Riverclan's territory.
It's the book I'm reading next. :D

And I think ..."No. The Erins said it on their website that the name "Fire and Ice" is the only title of all the Warriors books that does not makes sense. It has no relevence to the book itself.

I always thought that it was for the color of Fireheart and Graystripe's pelts. Weren't they the cats on the cover?
I always thought it was either Fireheart and Graystripe or Brackenpaw and Cinderpaw.
I'm pretty sure it has to do with a prophecy I read it a while ago I don't remember it too well.

I think 'Fire' means Fireheart and 'Ice' means Graystripe. Because there was a lot of conflict between the two.

LoL. I have no idea o3o. I always assumed Firestar was the Fire though.

I think it's Thunderclan and Riverclan which is fire(Thunderclan) and Ice(Riverclan) because they kind of came togather in this book not like in the first when they were enemies and were with Windclan. I knew that Tigerclaw would end up attacking Bluestar. But I didn't expect Fireheart to become deputy but of coarse he has to be deputy first. If you haven't read the series it is one of my top ten books for now. Also if you need other good books try Red Rock Mysteries and the Light of Eidon, they're both good books.

Fire: its about the prophecyIce: remember the majority of the book was in leaf-bare??? (winter, snow, get it?)
I don't remember the ending to that book, it was several series' ago, but my thoughts are this: Fire and Ice repel, they don't mix; just how Fireheart and Tigerclaw don't mix.
