Hello everyone! I am an avid reader and I especially love to read ARCs, something I started seriously earlier last year. I loved reading since childhood but only later did I develop a love for reviewing too. My favorite thing is returning to authors I enjoy and reading their different works, or finding a new author through the ARCs I do to follow and read.
Hello- I have been a bookworm since I was very young and I love reading and reviewing books especially for ones that I have really enjoyed
Hey I’m Kelsey. 21 years old and from the Uk . I love reading arcs and I’m primarily a romance reader but I plan to branch out and try other genres this year too
Hi all! Reading is one of the great joys in life. I started branching out into difference genres in the last few years, getting out if my comfort zone. I was never overly interested in thriller or mystery, because they seem more focused on a fast-pace, and frankly I prefer to sit and marinate in the settings and sounds of historical fiction and dystopian YA. That said, I have read a few good mystery/thrillers so I've learned it just depends on the author .
Hi everyone! I’m a mom of two wild kids from a non-English-speaking country. I’m currently living in a country that’s not my home but definitely appreciates books more, and after years of chaos I can finally get back to reading whenever I want—without someone yelling “MOM!” every five minutes. I’ve been living with SLE for more than 10 years, so books that represent chronic illness have a special place in my heart (although they also make me a bit harsher in my reviews). I used to work in IT, but I eventually decided that staying home and spending my husband’s money is my new dream career. I love reading romance—pretty much any subgenre except fantasy and historical. Sometimes I also dabble in parenting books, women’s empowerment, self-help, and basically anything that catches my interest. I also love leaving reviews, so feel free to check them out on my profile page (I think they’re there?). And please be patient with my English—it’s my second language, and I often rely on ChatGPT for grammar. 😄
Hi, all! My name’s Sara and I’ve been a bibliophile for as long as I can remember! I’m into pretty much any genre, but my favorites are psychological thrillers and romance (with a hint of tragedy from time to time).
Hello! 👋 I am an avid reader. Falling into the magic of a beautiful story is my favorite pastime. Books and coffee are life!
I have been a part of a wonderful book club for 3 years, and now run my own book club on the side.
Writing reviews, going to book signings, and exploring spaces book lovers love is the best way I spend my time when I'm not working.
I have 4 children and work about 50 hrs a week. So, audiobooks really help me work my reading time in when I can't pick up my beloved physical copies.
Hi I am Gabby from Aus.I am a mum of 3 and have loved the written word since being introduced to HP as a child and have never looked back. My obsession started though during covid lockdowns and it became a lifeline.
I love anything under the umbrella of romance, fantasy, women's literature - no matter the sub-genre. Im an absolute mood reader and am always on the hunt to find out if I have any triggers 😂
I have a tendency to stick mainly to audiobooks lately due to lack of time managing 3 children, full time work and poor eyesight.
I love reading/listening to ARCs and ALCs, I am currently on a few authors' Street Teams and I have just been accepted to several PR influencer lists which has been extremelyexciting.
I am currently listening to an ALC contemporary romance by Louis Bay and absolutely loving it and its Jane Austin references and humour.
Hi! I'm Pae, yes as in Paedyn Gray. I prefer that than my real name xI'm 15 and finished writing my debut fantasy book on August 17th last year! Agents have been queried and I'm not giving up until I find the right agent :3
I read clean fantasy romance like my life depends on it, lol. But literally, thats all I read. I dont have any social media other than YT, Pinterest and Goodreads ^^) I will happily share my yt channel name and share my Pinterest account. Only if your girls. Its nothing against men. Just my religions rules and my personal comforts x I hope to make many new friends here!
Hi I'm Ej. Im from Iowa. Reading was my first love and the escape from reality it offers. I read pretty much every genre including smut and romance. Im currently reading my first memoir: When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi
Hi Monique from Idaho! Can be found on instagram @mobooksplz I read everything from horror to romance and contemporary fiction. I love most all books if they are riveting, well spoken, engaging, and purposeful. I enjoy other things outside of reading like making music and spending time with my family. :)
Hi from Sweden, I'm mostly a casual reader and very much an amateur writer. I read to escape and to get inspired to write, what I read can depend on what speaks to me and what I am in the mood for. When I'm not reading, I am working on improving my life!
Hi I’m Richard, I’m an imaginative writer and poet in New York City with many published short stories and poems (see my profile). I’m an avid reader as well and have written 400+ reviews, many quite detailed. Many have 20+ likes. My tastes are very eclectic but I have a special love for the works of John Cowper Powys.
I'm Jonathan in CA..an outlier who prefers literary fiction by under the radar authors, writer, humorist, and countless other things. Unlike the majority I have little interest in stories driven by darkness, crime and division. On occasion I enjoy non-fiction if the subject is of interest..here's a few examples: Family of Spies, The Feather Thief: Beauty, Obsession, and the Natural History Heist of the Century, The Elephant Whisperer: Learning About Life, Loyalty and Freedom from a Remarkable Herd of Elephants etc. Where fiction is concerned my preference are authors who create relatable quirky characters, offbeat plots and premise that don't overuse dialog, backstory or technical stuff. I also host the Literary Fiction for Outliers group..feel free to join

Hi everyone. My name is Elizabeth and I am from New Jersey. I got into reading during my senior year of high school because my English teacher wanted us to do “free read” for the first 20 minutes of class. At the end of each week, we posted to the board a summary of what we read and commented on 2-3 of our classmate’s posts.
My go to genre is murder mysteries. Some of the authors I keep up with are Agatha Christie and Alyssa Maxwell. I do enjoy (in recent years) thrillers by Freida McFadden. The Housemaid is such a good book.
My new obsession is a drama and historical fiction mixed with fiction. It is Poldark by Winston Graham. He was a brilliant writer. If he was still alive today, I would want to meet him in-person.
Happy reading! 📖📚
Elizabeth wrote: "Hi everyone. My name is Elizabeth and I am from New Jersey. Have you read The Curse of Pietro Houdini A fictional story driven by history...magnificent
Hi everyone! I’m a lifelong reader that took some breaks when life got really busy but always came back for the escape and passion I have for books. I open to reading a variety of genres but gravitate most to romance, thrillers and fantasy (as of last year!). I love talking most about how the books I read make me feel. I’m not the most eloquent reviewer and always think about the artistry of the written words I’m reading but love to sit with the emotions a book makes me feel.
I can’t wait to learn more about everyone here and discovering new authors and books!
Hello! Reading and author here. I'm English speaking in the US. I love thrillers, YA fantasy, and romantasy as my main genres. ☺️ I have a goal to read 75 books this year on top of my writing projects!
Hi. I'm Robert, also known as Pile By The Bed, my book review blog that has been going now since 2016 (although I've been reviewing since 2011). I try and read widely but I do love crime fiction (particularly Australian crime fiction), sci fi and fantasy. but mainly I just love talking about and recommending books. 🙂

🎉 Congratulations on the completion of your debut novel! 🎉 I wish you great success in finding the agent who is the best fit for you. I am confident that you will make an excellent connection.
It's nice to meet you all. Thank you for the invitation to join...I thought it might be a "new" experience to kind of get in on the ground floor of a new group and see where it takes us! My name is Beverly and am a 76 (77 in May) year old wife, mother and grandmother. I read almost anything...biographies, mysteries, thrillers, horror, classics, graphic novels, historical fiction, true crime, and lots of topics in non-fiction and probably other things that just don't come to mind right now. I do most of my reading while at the gym on the recumbent bike...2 to 3 hours a day. And then sneak in whatever I can on audio book while driving and anything else while waiting anywhere. I'm always looking for recommendations in spite of the fact that at my age I'll never finish everything I've already got. Good luck with whatever reading goals you all have!
Hi. it's nice to meet you all. I'm Nadine. I was an avid reader as a child but then lost my way until a couple of years ago when I came across the bookstagram community.
I love horror and crime although I have been exploring other genres too. I take part in book tours and they've helped me find lots of great new authors. 😊
Hello everyone! Reading is one of my favorite hobbies and has been since I was very young. I’m gonna blame book it, lol! I wanted to read all the books to get that free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut! Even though it was a nice perk I think I would have loved reading without it. I mostly read romance, thriller/mysteries, horror and some fantasy. Read my first true crime book recently too. Started near the end of 2025 and finished beginning of this year. So now adding that to my list of favorite genres. I have read a couple nonfiction books too and enjoyed those. Thank you for the invite and will do my best to keep up on checking the group posts between reading and adulting 🥰.
I'm Ivonne Rovira, a retired teacher, lifelong reader. I live in Louisville, Ky. (Please don't judge the city by our state! We're the Austin of Kentucky.) I'll read anything but horror because I am a big, fat, scared chicken!
Nicole wrote: "Hello everyone! Reading is one of my favorite hobbies and has been since I was very young. I’m gonna blame book it, lol! I wanted to read all the books to get that free personal pan pizza from Pizz..."Ivonne, your introduction made me smile “the Austin of Kentucky” is a great way to put it! And no judgment at all about avoiding horror. A lot of us readers happily draw that same line; books are supposed to be enjoyable, not anxiety-inducing.
Since you mentioned you’ll read almost anything else, you might enjoy My Ailing Champion by Demetrius Koubourlis. It’s not horror at all much more of a reflective, character-driven story. The book leans into themes of resilience, compassion, and what it means to support someone through illness and vulnerability. What I found compelling about it is how thoughtfully it explores human relationships and the quiet strength people show when life gets difficult.
It’s the kind of story that invites you to slow down and really connect with the characters rather than racing through plot twists, which tends to appeal to lifelong readers.
If thoughtful, emotional stories are your thing, it might be one worth adding to your reading list. And if you ever do pick it up, I’d be curious to hear what you think!
Hello everyone! My name is Kaleb, and I'm a community college student currently studying Psychology. I've only gotten into reading seriously over these last three years, so I'm still solidifying my tastes and trying new things, so I'm always looking for recommendations. Right now, I've found I enjoy fantasy and romance, especially stories that take place in other time periods and other places. I'm also reading manga, and really enjoy One Piece and Haikyuu.
I'm looking forward to discussing books with everyone here and hopefully find something I like that I wouldn't have known about otherwise!
Hi everyone! I’m Nora and I am a receptionist at a senior living community. I have loved books my entire life and right now I mostly read all of these genres that this group is interested in. Hi all, I'm Michelle, more commonly known as Reinvented Reader. I live in the US (Oregon) and spend my days caring for my mom, updating my blog, and reading. I read from pretty much all genres and across age groups (Middle Grade, YA, Adult, etc.), though I tend to favor Romance, Fantasy and Memoirs. I advocate for diverse reads, libraries, and audiobooks (vision issues have made sight reading difficult for me). I look forward to getting to know fellow readers.
Hi everyone, I’m Nicolas. I’m from Argentina and I’ve been on the platform for a while now. I enjoy reading a wide variety of genres, I love discovering a bit of everything! Now they’re both teens (or close to it) I have more time for books again. I read a variety of genres, but primarily enjoy thrillers, romance and dystopian YA. I would like to review more but I often feel like I don’t have the “way with words” it takes to write a good review.
As well as novels I also read comic books, the Poison Ivy comics by G Wilson being my favourite.
Outside of reading I also read comic enjoy video gaming, crochet and nature

Hi everyone! My name is Kari. I’m from the southern United States. I have always loved reading, but my love was rekindled when I moved and made new friends. Our friend group is like a little book club, but we all have different interests. I love it. Around the same time I met those friends, I also got a job as a full time book editor. So my life pretty much revolves around books haha. About 6 months ago, I also decided to start a BookTube - https://youtube.com/@judgedbythecover...My favorite genres include romantasy, horror, thriller (especially psychological), and YA drama (for some reason, traumatic stories draw me in).
