Book edit request

Hello Librarians,

I need help with a book record I created.

My ISBN was not properly added, and an ASIN was automatically pulled from Amazon. Because of this, I am unable to edit the ASIN field and now I cannot access the book page correctly.

The correct ISBN is: 9786500732238

Could you please remove the incorrect ASIN and ensure the ISBN is properly set? If necessary, the record can be deleted so I can recreate it correctly.

You will have to create a new edition, and then ask us to merge the two. In future, do not create a book record without ISBN.

There is no reason you can't enter the ISBN when creating a new record.

Yesterday was my first time trying to create the record. I added the cover, title, and all required information. The first time I entered the ISBN, it did not register. When I tried to add it again, the system indicated that this ISBN was already in use. From that point on, I was no longer able to edit it.

Because of this issue, the record ended up without the correct ISBN and with an automatically pulled ASIN.

Could you please delete the record so I can recreate it properly with the correct ISBN?

I am not getting the ISBN in use message so I'm not sure why you are.

I’m not sure why the system behaved that way on my end, but when I first created the record, the ISBN did not save properly. When I tried to enter it again, I received a message indicating the ISBN was already in use, and after that I was unable to edit the field.

At the moment, the record remains without the correct ISBN and with an automatically assigned ASIN. I can't edit this ASIN, and it is not mine.

Could you please delete the current record so I can recreate it correctly with ISBN 9786500732238? I want to make sure the book data is accurate.
