Kristen could have at least shed one tear!! I mean come on you lose the guy who is your soul mate...no tears...then your best friend the one who has been there for you through it all tells you to leave and...no tears...then you watch your man be tortured right in front of your eyes and...no tears...then your best friend basically makes you choose him or your man and you guessed it...no tears!!! I mean come on...REALLY???
And then that little skipping through the forest bit with Bella and Edward??? What the heck...can we say cheesy???
Ok sorry thats it...just a few things I noticed...I'm not knocking it the movie was amazing but there is always a few imperfections!!!

I went to see the movie last night at midnight and once i got past the line butters and actually got the best seat in there I was ready for the movie. It started about 10 mins late. And the people in front of me were drinking alcohol along with whispering the whole way thru.So now let's get down to what I thought of the movie, I thought it was a great movie! Jacob was looking so good!!! He's 10 yrs younger than me but dang he's hot! I thought they were going to play out more of her depression when Edward left but I'm glad they didn't. I agree with you Stephanie there could have been some serious tears!! There was more that happened in the book with Jacob and the motorcycles too that they left out which I was kinda upset about.
I didn't like the new color scheme once I saw the whole movie. I definitely like the blue better! I thought the Volutri looked awesome! The fight scene was amazing and Jane was awesome! The Wolf pack was great too! the way they had them change forms was pretty cool. Emily (? Sam's woman) didn't look like what I thought she was going to. I expected the scaring to be worse. I didn't like the forest bit either how lame!
I did love the way it ended!! Overall I really liked the movie but there were imperfections.
Oh a couple other things I forgot. I hated the wigs in this movie! Jacobs was awful, Rosalie's you could definitely tell was a wig and Victoria's was all wrong! I like Victoria's natural red much better. Sorry just had to add that!

What did you think of Jasper??
I thought Jasper looked pretty good. When he was going after Bella it was how i pictured it when I read it. Their eyes were much more noticeable in this movie. The blonde guy with the Volturi, his hair looked kinda funny too! But they all looked good. The red contacts were awesome.I think the girl who plays Victoria in Eclipse is going to have some tough shoes to fill. Rachel did an great job and she really fit the role. I'm really sad that they couldn't work around her schedule.
just to add, the picture of volturi in my mind is exactly the same one that i saw in theatres nice one...agree with no tears at all...
also i was looking for more jake's airtime...
right steph, rachel is really good im portraying victoria...
I FRIKKIN' LOVED THE WHOLE DAMN FILM! Just got back and i must say... that was such a good way to end.

darn right it did! wow. it was just 'marry me first' then BAM! the credits.. and everyone screamed and got excited including moi. lol. i was suprised. i didn't think i would enjoy that as much as i though i would because i watched the trailer repeatedly and loads of clips but it was didn't spoil it for me.
=) great movie overall. i think that's fair to say. i loved twilight and all but new moon just was a whole new level of awesomeness.

I absolutely loved the movie and I've seen it 5 times now.....obsessed??? HELL YES!!I love the fact that they kept close to the book or as much as they could. I had a teary eye moment when he left her in the forest........I agree she could have cried but then Bella really isn't much of a cryer, she holds her emotions in...I have to say that the way she looked sitting in her chair depressed honestly she was shattered wouldn't you agree??? Brilliant acting on Kristen's part!!
can any body tell me how does it start and how it ends coz i was like 5 mins late and left 5 mins earlier..
I'm re-reading the book so I'll have to check that, but I think you could be right.....I bought the soundtrack a month before the movie came out and I have to say that each song they chose was perfect for the scenes related.
I loved the first soundtrack, this one has def got more of a mellow/light sort of feel to it.

wasn't the dream thing with edward and bella running through the forest? alice says to aro that she's seen bella being a vampire in the future, so she proves this by showing aro a vision of bella as a vampire with edward. at the start there's bella's dream where she see's herself with edward as a grandma.

WOW! it was so AWESOME!! in my opinion it was a million times better than twilight! (but don'get me wrong,i loved twilight too; how could you not?!) but i was kinda disappointed that they didn't show how totally lost Bella was without Edward...i mean they showed it a little but i think they coud've done more. i think the part in the forest when edward leaves was perfect(other than Bella could've been a bit more sad and shocked); great acting on Rob's part!! It was so funny!! i loved every minute of it!! :D

Steph...your first point on crying, I though I saw smudges on bella's face right at the end before she trips and falls....I might be wrong but I noticed it both times! And I think she handled the parts well. As for the running in the forest....I think it was perfect...its exactly what happens when she becomes a vamp in Breaking dawn and go for their many many runs together...they will def use this while making breaking dawn! Or atleast I hope they do.
I didnt cry thru the movie (my Mum did, at the breaking up scene) but I got all tight chested when she was having nighmares at night screaming and then they show charlie waking up on his sofa looking lost and hurt....I think Billy did an amazing job and he was soooo funny!
I love how they showed Bella's ride on the bike with the random guy to set up why she buys the bikes! I think better handles then the book. Makes more sense...you know what I mean!?
I cant talk highly enough about the wolves...I mean wow! scary as hell, specially SAM wolf. I LOVE the Jake and Paul wolf fight and how the camera crashes...LOL sooo well done!
Yah I must admit that I was expecting Emily's scar to look worse....much worse...but minor detail!
I hate Rose's hair...better than Twilight but still hate it! also Nikki looked UGLY! Jaspers Hair it...well disaster! I think Jakes hair was great actually compared to Twilight! I liked Embry's long hair...how rockstar like! LOL
Tho Jake looked great Shirtless...it doesnt do much for me for some odd reason...may be because I know he is 17 and I am 31 ;)
I didnt like what Alice wore in the movie...I dont know just to much layers...Twilight was better. Other than that I only have positive things to say about the movie!! I LOVED IT! Cant wait to go watch it again (probably in a week or so).

I did notice in my showing that Bella's comment about the cake can feed 50 people and they didn't eat was cut from the previously release trailers/clips. But Emmet's added line of it being hot dating and older chick was hilarious. I was upset that in the film, you didn't know what the gift was that Esme and Carlise gave her and no Edward CD. I missed him taking the stuff away and hiding it under her floorboard. I didn't miss the tears because I kinda of got that they were implied (that and I shed my own) and focused on her zombie like state. Which I thought the way the did the passing of time was great.
Taylor did an awesome job of portraying Jacob and the intensity and the fun loving side were all there. Better than I expected! I also loved the addition of the dream-catcher, it made some great tie ins. While I understood that the movie scene with the two guys was added and the car rides were left out. I didn't get upset at all about Jacob snapping at Mike because it was an easy way to show what started his transformation than waiting to find out he snapped at his Dad.
I like how they showed that Victoria triggered Harry's heart attack. It was more moving to actually see Charlie finding him and it gave more of a motivation to the wolves to chase her off the cliff.
But, Bella wasn't supposed to tell Jacob she loved him in this book! Grrrrr.

I thought they much improved with the look of the wolves from when they originally aired the clip at the MTV movie awards. The only CGI that actually bothered me was the wolf pack cliff diving.

I loved New Moon SO much more than Twilight! The only thing I hated was the spinning. Talk about motion sickness! When Bella was lying down in the forest and when it did the "October...November..." My eyes were like: @_@ But overall I thought it was a great movie! Edward looked so heartbroken and I loved that they showed his reaction in Italy! Oh and Jacob was so hot, but when Edward thanked him for taking care of Bella and Jake was just a jerk back, I totally remembered why I am team Edward! That whole scene was really good!
Not to get to ahead of myself but I did see somewhere that Breaking Dawn will be kept PG-13.....so much for the Honeymoon and the headboard. Now back to the topic at hand. I would agree with everyone that this movie was great and that the added scenes were pretty cool. I didn't like the spinning of the room either. I noticed she was in the same clothes on every spin, which isn't that big of a deal but to make it real they should have changed her clothes for the months following. In the book she rode the motorcycle more than 1 time and each time she got hurt. I know you can only fit so much into the movie but this book was based more on Jacob and I think they had Edward in it too much. I hate how it looks like Edward is in extreme pain every time he talks in this movie. I know he's hurting when he leaves Bella but other times when he shouldn't be in pain he looks like he is. Trust me I like Edward and I play for Team Switzerland because I really like them both.
I can't wait to see how things go in Eclipse! The good thing is it comes out June 30th so it's not that far away.
I thought the CGI was pretty good but I'm not a graphic design major so I'm sure when you work in that field you can notice the imperfections. I think I'm definitely re-read Eclipse before I go see it so that I will know what is missing.
OoH I just remembered that Bella isnt suppose to cry...so I take that back...yeah that was kinda weird with the months flying by in the same clothes...OMG the part when bella finds carlisles car at her house is exactly how I pictured it...I was bummed when they didnt show the part when edward hid her stuff under the floor boards and the part when the go through volterra and jump down a drain type thingee but hey is awesome nonetheless!!
Don't get me wrong, I totally loved New Moon. The only complaint that I have is the scene that Alice showed Aro. Is that just me or did that scene seem kind of cheesy. Because all of a sudden you see Edaward who is running in a forest by himself. and then all of a sudden Bella comes running in from the side. My first thought was like, what the heck. First of all that dress did not suit kristen at all it made her look bigger then she really is. Almost like it is too billowy. Then Edward, who I might add has always worn dark colors is wearing khaki and a dressy vest. I know that the vision was supposed to represent them hunting in the woods like in Breaking Dawn I don't have a problem with that it just seemed weird. THe scene just seemed awkward to me. Did any body else think so. I think a scene in the meadow with Bella's eyes topaz would have been better or them hugging with her eyes changed. Anything would have been better then that.

It was in my theatre. Ugh.... NO enthusiasm whatsoeveer. I heard everything, but seriously. Not even a squeal or two. (Well I did, that was pretty much all.)
