I do not read Arabic but am delighted that you invited me into your group.Currently I am reading The Devil and the White City. It is non-fiction but reads like a thriller. It is one of the books for the book discussion group held at my local library in the spring.
Sheila If you want to discus a nonfiction book your group should discuss my book, "The Way The Truth And The Life"
I will definitely put your book on my "to-read" list. I read all types of genres and a fair amount of non- fiction. I like autobiographies and biographies and histories if they are not too technical. I especially love early 20th century through the 60's. I'll research your book after I finish this note.

I began creative writing early at age of 13
My talent was discovered in school , by my teacher Professor "Husein Khateeb"
I began with the short stories and poetry.
At the age of 17 I started to write my first novel.
I studied the classical art of the novel and brought to the modern form and post-modernity.
I also wrote three plays.
I have been reluctant to publish!
Even I reached the stage of maturity
I hope my writings will appeal to you when translated into English and other European languages,also Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, this is my ambition ,may ALLAH "GOD" bless my efforts.
I am also love fashion designing , inherited this gift from my mother "Moneerah Atassi" may God "AllAH" rest her soul.
I am interior designer , oil & water painter.
I laid in stone, marble and wood, and this is because my father Pegreba of the most famous sculptors in Syria and the Arab world.
I am paintings beautiful Arabic calligraphy wonderful.
Finally I designed some jewelries for the bride to my wonderful fiancee, during the very impressive fiancé period !
I am still dreaming that the peace will prevail in our wonderful area ... And ending wars ... This what I still reading , thinking , writing , painting and Sculpture for !

I am a painter also as well as an actress.
I have been married 24 years and have son and 2 step-children. I have a grandson who is 2 months old today.
