Scott | 16768 comments It has only been two days since you requested 55 books be updated. Please, exercise some patience, and don't make multiple threads about it.

Martin | 41782 comments When you first submitted the very large request I suggested you consider the recommendation at post 5 here
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Librarians are volunteers and will chose which requests they want to deal with, if you make your requests easy to deal with there is greater chance of librarians having the time and will to deal with them.

I also suggested it might help if you correct the titles of your books to meet site standards.

Scott | 16768 comments Just because a librarian makes a suggestion to make the request easier for librarians doesn't mean that that librarian is going to handle it. We all work together.

Scott | 16768 comments I'm not sure where you are getting those numbers. The numbers are arbitrary, the point is to make the request more manageable. At the very least the books should be numbered so a librarian can say "#1-5 done" and so on.

Martin | 41782 comments Librarians can chose which requests they deal with.
Large requests can be awkward and time consuming, so librarians may chose to leave them for somebody else.

As your request was so large I tried to assist by referring you to the recommendations in that staff post. It is up to you to what extent, if any, you chose to follow those recommendations. Once a request is posted it is just a matter of waiting for it to be attended to.

Personally I would probably deal with requests of the size you have now posted (I think there are about seven items in each).
Although I would probably deal with such requests for covers I find it difficult not to correct book titles at the same time and don't want to correct nearly every title.

Martin | 41782 comments I won't worry about the titles as I'm not editing the books.
I was only offering a suggestion as to how you could make things easier for librarians and possibly get a speedier response.

The answers to questions you have been asking are nearly all in the post I linked in message 4.
