I think it's a pretty good read. Definitely better than a straight-forward economics text. He is, after all, attempting to make a point, bring you over to his side - so the writing style is more persuasive than you'd find in an economics text.

I wrote a paper on Stiglitz for my Organisation and Management course!
I hope this isn't as dry as his economics texts...
