Amy Jones is a writer, lecturer and researcher based at the University of Bristol in southwest England. She has designed courses and lectured for over a decade for undergraduate students and global media companies on literature, linguistics and the craft of storytelling. Amy has authored six books for Wooden Books: Literary Devices, Plot, Narrative, Character, Genre, and Setting, with a compendium, The Story Book, due for release in September 2026. Amy holds a Masters in Literature and the Arts from the University of Oxford and is currently developing her PhD at the university of Bristol.
