i'm currently listening to Dregs - Jørn Lier Horst - not bad, not awesome either - i seem to notice a lot more redundancy when listening, especially when it comes to the translation
I'm reading Cockroaches by Jo Nesbø. I'm finding it better than The Bat, but not as good as The Redbreast ... so far. I can see why they waited to translate these first 2 of the series.

I am reading The Purity of Vengeance by Jussi Adler-Olsen. I really like the Department Q series, and I am especially enjoying this one. I don't want it to end (but I want to find out what finally happens!). I'm already planning on reading the next one in the series.

Now that I've finished Cockroaches, I'll probably read either Nemesis next or maybe Helsinki White by Jim Thompson.

Just finished Strange Shores by Arnaldur Indriðason another favorite series of mine. The plot was not too exciting but the atmosphere was great and the characters were interesting.
http://www.theguardian.com/books/2015...RIP Henning Mankell. I read them all for decades and watched the truly excellent tv series, all versions and all the films with true enjoyment. Thank you for hours of pure reading and watching pleasure and a world view without excuses. RIP
