I read just about everywhere...on the bike and the stairmaster at the gym, on the train, when I'm riding in the car (not driving mind you) and at restaurants if I'm by myself. My favorite place to read though, is the comfy chair downstairs near the door. I can hear the ocean from there, and I love it. I also read in bed with my favorite blanket, but on the right side :)

I also read everywhere and carry a book with me so I can read at work during lunch. I usually have a differant book in each place one book to read at lunch, one book to read during the evening either on the right side of the couch or in my recliner, another book that I cannot get into in the bath and one that I read before sleep. That one can not be to interesting or I will stay up all night to finish it and not get any sleep!
Mostly I read on my couch or in bed. I do always have a book in my purse to read on breaks at work or when there is a particularly tiresome line to wait in. Now that winter is subsiding I can read in the sun porch, which is wonderful.
I read in bed with the pillows propped up behind me. It's easier than a chair to rearrange the cats so no one is blocking the book but everyone has a place next to or on me! I have quite a few cats, which is fantastic in the wintertime...
I don't have one special reading spot exactly but I must say I do favor curling up with a good book on my massage chair. Best of both worlds. Any other time, I try to read whenever I have a break. My book is like my Visa....never leave home without it.
I'm a big fan of parking it on my couch and reading there, but I probably read more on the light rail and bus that I take to and from work everyday than anywhere else. Plus, it's a nice way to block out everyone else and get in a good two hours' worth of reading each day!
I like reading on my bed or the couch but when I was living in Austin, I loved certain spot on the UT campus by my old dorm building.
I like to read in my computer room. The light is best in here. I prop the book up on the edge of my desk and read out loud. (Years of being a teacher-- I just love the sound of the words.) Anyone else like to read out loud, or am I weird?
Whatever works best for you! I don't do that, when I taught school, I had students who couldn't read silently -- they had to read aloud.

We used to sit side by side in her mother's rocking chair and read out loud to each other. We still read things over the phone. :-)
I have been known to call my sister or my daughter and read to them over the phone. And I used to read aloud while my husband drove on long trips. (Books on Tape had nothing on me!) Now I even read aloud to myself, either to work my way through convoluted sentences or just because the words are so enticing.
I'll read anywhere. I always carry a book with me in case I'm stuck in traffic or waiting for something.
I read anywhere. I have always in my bag book or magazin for my reading. I read book where I travel in bus, train or sometimes when I waiting on bus or train station, and of course I read books, magazines at home in my bed.
Well I can read anywhere, I can always find a nice spot and read. I also carry a book in my purse. Enjoy your readind that's the most important thing

I'm late to this but I want to put in my two cents. At home I tend to read in two places. First, I read in bed before I go to sleep and second, I love to read in the bath tub. Horror of horrors I know, but reading helps me relax and the tub and the bed are the two most relaxing places in my house.
I also love to read sitting on my little porch in nice weather. I live on the top floor of an apartment complex and I've never had a balcony before, so I absolutely love taking advantage of it.
I also love to go to Caribou Coffee or Starbucks, order a huge SF vanilla latte, then park myself in one of their arm chairs for a couple hours. I tend to go on the weekends in the middle of the day or late at night on the week days when it's not busy. I'll bring my ipod so I can't hear the other people.
I fall asleep if I read in bed. I read in my computer chair in front of the computer, on the floor in front of the tv or in the corner of my couch.
I read anywhere and everywhere I get the chance. My favorite place is the bathtub or back porch. I also listen to books while driving or walking at the park.
I thought I'd add an addendum to my previous statement. I've been listening to a lot more audiobooks lately and while I can tote my ipod everywhere, I most like to listen to books on long car trips or while working on items in my craft room. Although, really I couldn't weed the garden without it, it is not my personal fave location!
Either bedroom or lounge or garden or on public transport or even whilst I wait for appointments lol x
anywhere i can...lol! In the mornings I drive to the metro - so I have an audiobook going, then I have my metro reading - at work i've uploaded an audiobook to amazon cloud to listen to (can't have ipods or anything) and I listen to that during the day. take my kindle to the dog park when I go in the afternoons, and then at night split my time between reading my various library books and my kindle
Ok so I now bought a reading chair specifically for my room. It is sooooo amazing. I also listen to them in my car on the drive to work which is usually about 45 minutes each way. Also when I go to bed I read until I fall asleep.
I like to read on my living room couch. I have my own special spot. It's got good lighting and is also the best view of the television. Sometimes I like to watch TV and read at the same time.
i read in bed and heres the link to a wonderful book i just finished reading.http://asolitarypassion.blogspot.com/...
I have to say I read anywhere, everywhere and whenever I can. This can mean in bed, sitting on my bed, on the train, or in fact, any other means of transportation when I'm not driving myself, walking down the road (not busy ones, obviously and not literally ON the road), in cafés, on benches in town, by the lake in summer, in the bath (love that one), in the bookshop... Well, I trust you get the picture.
I read in a lot of places, but my favorite is the front living room of my mom's house. Just curling up on the couch with a blanket and some coffee and letting the sun light my reading is so fun--unfortunately, bad lighting during the evening and night. So then I like to read in bed, just because it's so peaceful.
