Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling

So this is a re-read for me. I first read the series when I was in middle/high school. I'm about 2/3 of the way through it, so I should finish it either today or tomorrow (hopefully). This is probably my favorite book although it is a close toss up with Goblet of Fire as well...but this book definitely makes me frustrated as well as happy and have a laughing fit.

***SPOILERS AHEAD***

So this book makes me frustrated because of the way everyone talks about Sirius..I get why they do and that it is super important to the story line, but for those of us that know that he isn't the one that turned the Potters over to Voldemort it just frustrates me because he is such a good guy and one of my favorite characters in the series. It still breaks my heart every time I think of him dying..especially when I think of all the great adventures that Harry and Sirius could have gone on if it wasn't for the fact that Pettigrew got away, that lousy piece of dog poo!!!!!

So I finished this book this past weekend and am just amazed at how many details are different from the movie. I absolutely love the book though (all of them really). I'm still just dumfounded that they couldn't try to catch pettigrew when he transformed back into a rat, I mean come on! They have a freaking time turner!!!!
