Mike Newlon (mikenewlon) | 6 comments Bailey wrote: "Hello! I love reading and reviewing ARC books if anyone is interested!"

Genre: Literary Fiction/Literary Suspense

Amazon Description (ARC Version)

It didn’t start with control.
It started with being chosen.

Vivian is intelligent, independent, and fully capable of walking away.
Which is exactly why she doesn’t.

A chance encounter aboard a luxury cruise opens doors she never asked for—but never refuses. Private access. Unspoken rules. The kind of attention that feels flattering instead of dangerous. Each choice is hers. Each step voluntary. And that’s what makes it work.

Because no one ever tells Vivian what to do.
They simply make it easier not to leave.

As the line between generosity and leverage disappears, Vivian must confront a terrifying realization: nothing has been taken from her—she has given it away herself.

DECADENCE is a sharp, seductive work of literary suspense about power that doesn’t need force, relationships that don’t look like traps, and the quiet thrill of surrendering control before you realize what it costs.

If you enjoy tension that creeps instead of explodes—and stories that make you complicit—this one will stay with you.

--

Got to be honest—the description sounds a bit boring. I'll have to work on that.

Ping me if you're interested. I can send a PDF version. The manuscript is in decent shape, maybe six months out from release. It's solid, but I'm doing final passes and character tweaks.

Cheers, Mike.

LJ Lacey | 2 comments Hi Bailey,

I’ve recently self-published my first novel, Gildermog Hall.

Genre: Gentle mystery
Setting: 1990s UK
Vibe: Character-led, coming-of-age, quietly atmospheric

If that sounds like something you might enjoy, I’d be very happy to offer you a free copy (ebook/PDF worldwide, paperback UK only). There’s absolutely no pressure - just looking for honest early reader feedback.

I’ll pop the Amazon link below so you can read the blurb and sample first. If it feels like a fit, please feel free to DM me.

Leigh Belrose | 7 comments Hi Everyone !

My name is Leigh Belrose.
I’m looking for enthusiastic book reviewers to read and review my upcoming middle grade children’s book Escape from Meanderville Gardens. To be released in early February 2026.

Here’s a quick overview:
Escape from Meanderville Gardens is a humorous adventure story about a girl named Ryder, who is late for school. She boards a magical tram that whisks her to the enchanting Meanderville Gardens. There she must navigate a puzzling hedge maze, quirky playground, as well as bizarre botanical realms, using her courage and wit to escape before she’s trapped forever.

If you are interested, please contact me at wildstallionpub@outlook.com
and I'd be happy to send an ARC PDF copy of the book.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response.

Hi Bailey! Since you're open to varying genres and care about deadlines, I have a 'quick win' for you! ✨

My debut book, 'One of a Kind Creatures', is a 5-minute illustrated fantasy story about a vegetarian lion and his misfit squad. Because it's so short, there's absolutely no pressure on the timeline—it's a perfect 'palate cleanser' between your longer reads! 🦁🥗

It’s available on Kindle Unlimited (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GDZ1PWKK), but I can also send you a PDF if you’d like to take a quick look. Would love to have your honest thoughts! 🦁✨

Hi Arya! Love your energy! ✨ Since you're open to all genres, I’d love to have you check out the 'One of a Kind Creatures' I mentioned above.

It’s such a quick read (5 mins) that it won't take any time away from your other ARCs, but it’s packed with color and heart. 🦁🦒

Let me know if you’d like me to send you a PDF, or you can grab it on KU! Would be great to have your perspective! 🦁✨

message 29: by Rory (new)

Rory Calder | 8 comments Hello,

Genre: Literary Fiction/Queer Literary Satire Novella

Title: Married Men

Blurb:

A calm, married narrator clinically catalogues his conquests of other married men (priests, lords, executives), exposing British class and institutional hypocrisy one surrender at a time.

Tone:
dry, merciless, understated irony. Explicit but low-arousal sex scenes. No redemption. No moral agenda. Tenderness only for the narrator's husband.

Trigger warnings
• explicit sexual content (describe clinically)
• infidelity / adultery
• morally ambiguous / unsympathetic protagonist
• no HEA or emotional resolution

If you’re interested in an honest ARC (EPUB/PDF via BookFunnel), let me know.

No obligation to review. Honest opinions only (positive, negative, mixed). Please disclose “ARC provided” on Amazon/Goodreads.

Thank you.

N. Condor | 12 comments Hi!

Here’s my fast-paced epic fantasy. Not romantasy, not even remotely cozy. It’s a bit controversial.

It’s set in a dual-kingdom world. The main characters are in love, so there’s a strong romantic backbone, but the world is bigger than them and the stakes are real — a moving darkness threatens to consume the Citadel they live in, and war breaks out with the other kingdom. This is only Volume 1, so the ending is… kind of heartbreaking. But I’d genuinely love to know how you feel about it.

I’ve made it free on Google Play until it “debuts” on Amazon.

You can get it here:
https://play.google.com/store/books/d...

I’m looking for die-hard fantasy fans to roast me — no, but seriously, any kind of review is welcome.

Thanks a lot!

I have heard that this may have been written by AI, or at least parts of it were. Is this accurate? I do not review or promote works written by AI.

No, the book is not written by AI.
It is human-written, and the prose is the result of deliberate choices: refusal to unpack, refusal to comfort, refusal to explain.
That said, one early ARC reader initially gave it 5 stars (“one of the most daringly original, darkly funny, quietly heart-breaking, and unexpectedly profound books I have read in a very long time”), then flipped to 1 star and became incoherent in their reasoning — accusing AI use while their own questions leaked prompt instructions.

Whether it is “accurate” depends on how closely you read.
The text will answer whatever questions you have.

Rory

Ava Ardyne | 2 comments Hi everyone!!

I am looking for ARC readers for my 56k New Adult Romance "Almost Honest."

Check it out:

“I can survive Pritzker. I can survive Quinn Ozler.”

Both are lies.

Quinn Ozler is arrogant, dangerous, and completely off-limits — the billionaire heir who rules Pritzker’s elite campus like it was built for him.

I’m a scholarship pre-med student one bad grade away from losing everything. Falling for Quinn would be reckless. Wanting him anyway could ruin me.

Because behind the rivalry, the attraction, and the moments I keep pretending mean nothing, his family is hiding secrets — and so is mine.

The closer we get, the more certain I am of one thing:
Love makes liars of us both.

A steamy new adult enemies-to-lovers romance with elite campus drama, dark family secrets, and a slow burn with plenty of heat.

I’m looking for ARC readers willing to leave an honest Goodreads review. Free ARC link: https://dl.bookfunnel.com/7bjpi84omj
