My name is Melissa Wagner. I'm currently attending Cerritos College and I am involved in the Teacher TRAC program. My goals are to transfer to CSU Long Beach in a year and a half with my AA in educational technology and the start of my teaching credential preparation. I want to teach elementary when I graduate. I love to read, but sadly I haven't had much time lately. I'll probably catch up this summer.

My name is Amber Garcia, I am currently a student at Cerritos College, also apart of the Teacher Trac Program. I am a very picky reader, I don't read much because I havn't found many books I would take time out to read. I have read the series "A Boy called It". I like true to life books, I guess it is because it is nice to know you are not alone in your suffering.
hi my name is Christine La Clair. im 21 years old and will be 22 May 23rd (cant wait)! im at Cerritos college for the last semester and will be transfering to cal state long beach this fall. (cant wait for that either!) Im planning on becomeing an elelmentary teacher. i love to read, it has always been a hobby of mine, and i always make time to read the books i enjoy reading!
HOLA! My name is Tiffany and I am a student at Cerritos College! I am planning to transfer on to Cal State Long Beach to pursue a teaching career. I am working towards becoming a Special Education teacher. I love working with kids. Unfortunately being a full time student and a mother doesn't give me much time to do a lot of leisure reading but I am going to make an effort to do it more often because I really do love to read. As a child I always had a book in my hand and my mind in the clouds.

My name is Nancy Salazar and I'm 28yrs. old. I am in the Teacher Trac program and I am not really sure if I want to go into the educational field. I am still looking at my options. I like reading but not as much as I need to. I definately agree that reading is important. So I plan to read more and watch less tv.
Amber I started reading the book "A Boy called It" and I never get pass the first page. I definately want to read it this summer. I like real life stories also. I enjoy learning about what other people go throug in life.

Hi I am Jasmine. I ike to read but don't have much time. I am in the TRAC program at Cerritos College and I am having a great experience thus so far. I love to read books to my 3 year old niece and 2 year old nephew.
Chalo! my name is Natalie Sanchez, i am 22 years old and currently attending Cerritos College. I plan on transferring spring of 2009. I graduate this May at Cerritos college with a AA in liberal arts and science, and i plan on transferring to CSULB. I am currently on the Teacher Trac program and just finished my hours of observation. I also help my sister who is also a teacher in school. I believe i gain more knowledge that way. I plan on getting my teacher credential and Bachelors from CSULB, but i plan on getting my masters at CSUDH. I love children and i plan on making my career in teaching a successful one. Good luck to everyone becoming a teacher! I heard its one of the best jobs anyone can have!

I want to become a teacher so that I can change childrens lives and help them know how important they are to the society in which they live in. I am a twin and the oldest of five children. The youngest is fifteen years old and attends high school. I love animals so much that I have a dog who's name is Princess. She is a chow mix with something else. Not sure what.

my name is ashley lidwin. i am 20 years old. i am currently at cerritos but i will be transfering to cal state long beach this fall. im so excited. im am trhe youngest of three with the other two being brothers. i have always loved to read as a kid and now i enjoy reading to kids. i love seeing how excited they get while i read the story.
My name is Michelle Pinedo, I am 19 years old and I just graduated from Cerritos College with my AA degree. I am currently raising a 12 year old because of the recent death of my mother. It is building my patience through children and teaching me more and more about life then EVER. It's completely amazing how much a 12 year old can change your life. It makes me more responsible and more understanding to the children of our society. Other then that, I am part of the TeacherTrac program and I am loving every little bit of it! I love children and I believe reading is the root of all love, it builds charachter, moral, and humor through any child who learns to love it. That's me in a simple nutshell!
Hi my name is Norma and I am also in the TeacherTrac program. I have decided to change my major, however, due to my love of education and children I have chosen a career where I will continue working with children. I am now pursuing a career in speech pathology. I will be applying to Cal State Fullerton this fall to transfer in the Spring of 2009. I also enjoy reading and wish I had more time to do it. However, I get too involved in books and forget about my other responsibilities!
HEllo! My name is serena sedillo and i'm so exhausted with finals this week lol.. Well i'm 20yrs old and am also in the teacher trac program. I am becoming even more excited to be a teacher after doing my 40yrs of fieldwork.:) I hope to transfer by next fall to cal state long beach. I'm also a waitress working basically full time which has made this semester extremely more difficult. I plan to read this summer and relax!
My name is Ashley and I am 21 years old, will be 22 in about 5 and 1/2 weeks. I am currently attending Diablo Valley College. I recently got my Certificate of Achievement in ECE:Associate Teacher from DVC. I plan on transferring to CSU-East Bay to get a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Reading&Language Arts Specialist Credential. I love to read and I think reading should be every kids hobby. I look forward to getting to know everyone.
