Matt | 9 comments I was an Audible subscriber for a long time then I started seeing that I was spending less on the books I was getting than the subscription cost so I thought I would give Scribd a shot because it seems like a pretty good deal if you can find stuff you like which I can. The problem is the audio app seems really buggy to me. It crashes a lot and does not hold my place sometimes. It just stops often after a chapter I have to manually start it again and sometimes it jumps back to the beginning of the chapter I just listened to. Basically it's not very smooth nothing like the Audible or Kindle app. I am curious if anyone else has had the same problems. I guess it is possible it is just the books I am listening to it is only three so far and a trilogy The Magicians. My free month is almost up and not sure if I want to continue with them if this is common since it is pretty annoying. I am using it on an iPhone btw.

I gave up on it before my free trial was up. Too much trouble with the app and finding books.

You can switch your Audible membership to the annual Lite plan and keep your credits if that appeals to you.

Matt | 9 comments I did do that to continue to get the member discount on purchases. I've never had an abundance of credits I listen to 3-4 audiobooks a month. I actually really like Kindle Unlimited for a while until I ran out of stuff that really interested me.
