An idea to try to help indie and self pub writers reach more readers.

Hi there,

I am Aimée. It is not my intention to "spam". I have started a mailing list for readers and writers who are interested in fiction that has some component that is not quite what the basic scientific reality is agreed to be, as it presently is. It may science fiction, or another genre. The idea is to create a sort of `co-operative' between writers. Create emails and blog entries with free content (to encourage subscriptions), and advertise work of small press and indie fiction that has either a majority of good reviews or has been critiqued by other writers that submit short stories (I've kept it open to graphic story tellers and illustrators too), or work to be advertised.

To facilitate engagement and provide advice/support for writers, it is hoped to provide something for writers too, inspirational tit-bits, advice if you are new to self publishing, good writing guides... As with the material for the readers mailing list, people can pretty much submit what they like (whether something more substantial, or something reasonably relevant that you saw and thought, `oh, that's cool!'), and hopefully edit it into something good. Because to reach more readers we need a big mailing list, the idea is that any writer who submits work to advertise or for the free material to be features, that they ask their friends/mailing lists/facebook friends/... if they would be interested in joining also.

There is the option to offer suggestions, and I would encourage it. I sincerely just want to produce something that writers will find of us and readers can enjoy and see work that they might have otherwise not seen.
