Jason wrote: "Good Time, by Alan Jackson"I love Alan Jackson. I've seen him in concert 3 times. The last time is real special for me. It was just me and my Dad. Dad is no longer with us except in my heart.
My Dad was a big Marty Robbins fan. He loved My Woman, My Woman, My Wife.https://youtu.be/VbfmTzc4IFA

It's funny the things that remind you of the departed. My mom says she watches WWII movies now so Daddy will be with her.

Paula, I have always liked him as well. I've seen him twice in concert. Just a really down home genuine guy, who sings predictable but easy listening country.

I was listening to a discussion on one of the Sirius XM country stations, perhaps it was on one of the Grand Ol' Opry broadcasts, about how difficult a song Marty Robbins' El Paso is to sing. Gave me a whole new appreciation for his talent.
I have a smattering of country in my LP collection. (Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Crystal Gayle, Anne Murray, Glen Campbell, among others) Been getting back in to country since I started watching The Voice on a regular basis about 2 years ago. I blame Blake Shelton...:)
