To whoever is reading this letter,
I once wrote these letters to inspire hope and peace, wanting our survival, wanting the next generation to have a fighting chance. I wanted so much for us. I wanted us all to be free, allowed to breathe without the fear of that breath being our last. I wanted us all to live in peace. I wanted to stop counting the dead bodies. I look back and know that I had wanted a childhood dream, and ended up with a nightmare.
My name is Princess Temperance Millicent, I am the Nosferatu Princess. The war I once died to end was just the tip of the iceberg of hell I now live in. Like you all, I am a survivor, and they picked the wrong side of the line to stand on.
The Lycans are standing on one side, and I am on the other. To save lives, I will risk it all. I will sacrifice myself to save the others. I do not bend when it comes to the lives of the innocents. I cannot. I will not. Not for peace, not for love, not for the very heart within my body. I will go down fighting, tooth and nail. I will do what needs to be done. I will do what I swore I would never do. This is just the beginning.
To those who stand against me, your treason will be your ending. Your willingness to stand against me will end with me standing over your dead body. I will not ask you to desert your people, all I can offer you is a honourable death. I can offer you a proper burial.
I’ve told you the story of how I died, I’ve told you of our survival. Now I tell you of hope. Because right now, that’s all I had, hope. I once hoped for a better future, now I pray there is a future to hope for. I prayed our futures didn’t come crashing down in a blaze of anything but glory.
